• Very efficient staff. Always pleasant and helpful and response time was super fast!
• The elevators were always in use! They should have planned better and had 2 more for this size hotel.

• Bathroom was not as well stocked with towels, etc. as I would like.

“I was pleased with my stay there. The room was nicely done and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant was nice, the food good, service excellent. I would recommend this hotel.”

• The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful!
• They need better elevators and/or access to stairs.

“The hotel was very nice. My husband and I were very pleased with this stay. It was convenient and we were very happy. That being said, the hotel had some large convention on the same weekend. Because of the hotel's poorly planned elevators and poorly marked stairs, we found it difficult to get down to the 1st floor each morning. Also, the air didn't get as cold as my husband and I like. But none of these experiences would keep us from staying at this hotel again.”

• This hotel was rated 3 stars but I found the quality to be much higher than expected for the traditional 3 star.

• Very friendly staff and good breakfast buffet.
• Room was small and especially the bathroom, pool was closed on one of the days of our stay.

“Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed the stay, got complimentary coffee extras and laundry soap to do a quick load, would recommend and would stay again. Thank you!”

• Pigeon droppings on my windows.

“Asked for nice room above 3rd floor due to having been placed next to air conditioners last time. They said "here you go; a beautiful room" then I opened door and curtains to find the room had a "Pigeon Poo View". No Pool view, poo view! Nasty Dead pigeons on roof level with my window.”

• There was not a comfortable chair in the room.

“This is a nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The location is central with many nearby restaurants (driving distance). Two things which could be improved on are 1) no charge for internet access and 2) provide comfortable chairs to sit on. Cheaper and low-scale motels now provide free internet access. A comfortable chair is important as most of us do not like to sit on the bed all the time.”

• The beds and especially the pillows were awesome! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful!
• The hot tubs were worse than average. Games in the game room need updated. Have to pay for internet in the rooms.

“We stayed there for two days and found the experience better than expected. The renovation was in progress, but our room was nice. Not the most spacious, but well worth what we paid.”

“Pool/ hot tubs require maintenance. The dining and lounge areas are clean and the staff of the hotel, restaurant, and lounge is friendly and courteous and plentiful. I'm not sure that that makes up for the room space. The price asked for at this hotel is a price I pay for a hotel that offers breakfast or drinks or some sort of special.”

• They charged for everything from water to wifi.

“Our heater did not work so they sent the bell man with new keys and upgraded us to a suite; he did not help us move anything. The furniture was dirty and worn out in the suite. There was no top sheet on the bed. Just a feather comforter that who knows who slept under. They charged 3.50 for a bottle of water and charged 1.00 for the first hour on wifi and then 10c a minute there after, most motels offer at least continental breakfast but this one was highly overpriced.”

• It was very clean, and the people who worked there were very nice to us.
• I could have stayed in a 1 or 2 star hotel with more perks for the same price, I felt robbed.

“We stayed at a Best Western a day before we traveled up north to Albuquerque. We received just as much attention as the Marriott. Best Western had better accommodations. We had a bigger room and a much bigger bathroom than the Marriott. Free breakfast, free high speed internet (which we use a lot), a mini refrigerator and a microwave which we use to warm up my sons bottle. At the Marriott all we got was a free newspaper. I did not fell like I was at a better hotel.”

• No hot water all day and most of the night.

“The hotel is nice and there is plenty of parking. They also have a nice space on the lower level to eat and hang out. My biggest issue with this hotel is that when I got back from work and needed to take a shower, I would only get ice cold water from the tap. The hot water would magically return every morning, but that was really annoying.”

• Bathrooms were sub par for being a Marriott, 2) breakfast and internet were not included in the price.

“Restaurant staffs were awesome. Too many high school age workers who were not properly trained or know what hospitality is. Great location. Jacuzzi does not have jets.”

“I have never been to a hotel with more friendly people. Our only complaint is that the air conditioner does not get the room very cool. This kept us from being comfortable and sleeping. We have had this problem before at the same hotel. It is a beautiful place and very inviting.”

• Elevators took forever (we were on the 6th floor.)

• Easy to get to, check in was really easy.
• Not much water pressure.

“This was a really nice hotel. The only draw back was expected because when we checked in they did notify us that they just replaced the water pipes and the water would be rusty at first then clear up. It took over 10 minutes for the water to clear up.”

• Although we were on the top floor you could still hear traffic.

• The linen on the beds was great.
• The pool was on the small side, and both spas were out of service.

“This is a very pleasant hotel to stay at. The rooms, while on the small side, were extremely clean and the beds, some of the most comfortable I've ever slept on in a hotel. I was traveling with me two teens and two younger children, and everyone was very happy with the entrees offered at the hotel restaurant. The southwestern chicken sandwich was one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had. This is not your typical hotel restaurant fare. I was a bit disappointed with the pool. The inside portion is small and was crowded, but would have been great if the outdoors had been warm enough (the outdoor portion is much larger). Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a 3 stars or greater accommodation.”

• I liked the pillows, sheets, and the bed. The hob was great. The parking lot was secure and well lit.
• The only thing I hated was being awakened at 6 am by clanking dishes while workers set up the buffet. It was horrible noise for a solid hour!

“I have stayed here before and I liked it very well. It is a great location and the beds are great and the showers are nice too. Good place to stay as a single woman. I felt very safe there.”

• The bath tub drain was clogged and there was a dirty wash cloth left in the bath room.

“This is a beautiful hotel as long as they are not over booked with functions. We complained to the management but they could do nothing about the screaming drunk people at 2:00 in the morning.”

• We were upgraded to the concierge level.
• It was absolute bedlam when we arrived.

“Because of the "Gathering of Nations", a conference and a wedding in the lobby, the noise level was beyond anything I've ever experience in a hotel, not to mention the unsupervised children running about.”

• The hotel management was excellent and most of staff.
• The noise from the freeway but the manager moved us to a quieter room.

“The hotel comfort is excellent (beds, cleanliness, restaurant. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful (made restaurant reservation for us, gave directions to pharmacy). I would recommend it to everyone.”

• Housekeeping forgot to clean room for 2 days!

“Our room is on the east end of the hotel and we can hear the freeway noise on i-25. Not a big deal but for light sleepers, you may want a room on the other side of the hotel. Had to call housekeeping when they miss cleaning the room the second day. When they didn't clean the room on the third day, we had to complain again. They didn't apologize for missing our room. Our room has no safe or small refrigerator, which is a bummer! Maybe the suites have those. USA today was delivered at the front door every morning. Overall the hotel experience was good.”

• The hotel was located very conveniently to all the attractions I was interested in.
• The hotel did not clearly communicate all of its amenities and prices.

“Overall I had a good experience at this hotel. The rooms were very clean and the bed was by far the best hotel bed I have ever slept on. The view from the window was to be desired as it was of a big wall. The staff was friendly and did go out of their way to get me all the info I needed.”

• The bed was very comfortable. Upgraded since my last stay.
• The doors and trims are painted a puke yellow color.

“Over all a great place to stay in abq. The rooms are very comfortable and quite. The best part of this hotel is the comfort and quality of the bedding. It was great. The color or the doors and trim inside the hotel should be updated. I am not a fan of puke yellow.”
