• I enjoyed the unusual light displays in the lobby area and the warm cookie at check in was very inviting. The staff was terrific!

• The hotel was center in the middle of downtown, easy to walk around town without driving.
• When we first checked in we asked for king bed, they said they absolutely did not have.

“The hotel was convenient for location. But the staff was not friendly, did not want to accommodate us with a king bed at first, but finally did after I insisted. We do not want to stay at this hotel again.”

  had been there once before and it was fine. It's gone downhill. Fast.
• Dirty bathroom, with staff not caring or apologetic.

“I have been to this hotel before. Everything was fine. It had a nice view, it was convenient, and besides the ten dollars to park (which I think should be free for guests), it was fine. Room was fine, etc. The Starbucks is sometimes open, sometimes closed. The check in staff varies from supremely rude to helpful. But I was shocked that the bathroom was so filthy. What was worse is that when I told them this, they were completely unhelpful. That was not acceptable. Cleaning the rooms - the toilet especially - is the least you could ask.”

“The hotel is centrally located in Albuquerque making it easy to access. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. It was a fantastic stay and I absolutely loved how clean the rooms were.”

• Helpful staff and very clean hotel.
• Stuck with hotel parking bill without advance notice. Rooms were small for a couple with children.

“Hotel was nice in a beautiful downtown location. When I called for two beds and a non-smoking room, I was told my request would only be honored if available when I arrived. I did receive the room I requested when I arrived.”

• Restaurant on the property quiet room.
• You had to pay 10.00 a day to park in the hotel parking lot.

“Very disappointed that we had to Pay 10.00 a day to park in their parking lot. Hotel was very nice, elevator was very slow, we were up 10 floors, took forever, escalator very noisey in the restaurant.”

• Very convenient to the city center.
• Bathroom was not clean enough.

“A bit trendy but kind of sterile and did not have a lot of personality. The pool was stainless steel which was kind of odd but I did like the fact that it was a lap pool. Food was good. No towels at the pool so all in all I think their housekeeping needs to step it up but it was fine for the price-we had a good time. Oh, it would be good to mention that it is in walking distance of the train station.”

• Room was ugly and no bath tub! parking was 20 dollars which was never disclosed.

“Maybe it was just because they were packed but Priceline should not have sent us to a place that only had a handicap accessible room and smoking. I would have thought differently if we did not have our children with us.”

• The coffee maker & coffee was good, unusual for a hotel room of 3 star!
• Skimpy on the shampoo's etc, important now with airline restrictions & poor lobby.

“The lobby was unattractive. No visible place for breakfast, one elevator broken & long lines, ended up taking the stairs which were really creepy. Beds were comfortable, short on linens, but very clean. Good water pressure.”

• I liked almost everything about this hotel, and of course the cookie. BTW I was not charged for parking.
• The bartender.

“The bartender was very rude. He presumptuously kept the change from our drinks. (He didn't deserve a tip.) That and the college kids hanging out in the lobby all night were the only negatives about our stay.”

• Warm cookies at check-in.
• Very loud terrible band played until midnight heard in my room from the bar.

“The group I was with had two rooms and they rooms themselves were great. We had a 3 night stay. Friday night was terrible. The band was playing in the bar but on our 3rd floor room it was as though they were right out the window.
The others in my group called at 11pm to find out when it was to stop and was told midnight. We all had to be up and out of the rooms to go to work by 8 so bad loud music playing until midnight was not pleasant for us and we were offered no apologies or help at all. Another bad thing about the hotel is they charge for parking but that gives you no guarantee of parking at night, we arrived late one night and there was one spot left.”

• We had an allergy friendly room with air purifier - it was wonderful!
• Parking.

“What a great place to stay - very clean, comfortable beds, beautiful decor, friendly staff - most definitely staying there again when visiting Albuquerque - my daughter loved the warm cookies upon check in.”

• Consistently friendly staff; clean, spacious room; lots of amenities and good hotel restaurant.
  
• The temperature of the room was overly warm the first two nights.

“Every hotel employee was friendly and accommodating. The hotel and rooms were clean, inviting and spacious. There were lots of amenities, my favorite being a copy of the morning newspaper at our door bright and early. Old town was a pleasant walk of less than two miles away.

• Easy to get to from the airport.
• Noisiest hotel I've stayed in over last 20 years. Street noise, hallways, elevators were slow.
  

“Facility needs major updating in nearly every area. Noisy hotel, slow elevators, small bathrooms for spouse and self. Will not stay there again. Front desk staff was not very professional.

• The hotel was within short driving distance to downtown sites and the airport.
• Although the hotel was very clean and nice, it is a hotel more for business travelers.

“This hotel was very clean and beds were comfortable. The hotel is only a short distance to airport which made it great for last night stay. You do need a car if you want to go to old town Albuquerque, as there is not much around the hotel.”

• The guy that brought us a fridge was most friendly.
• Objected to being given a smoking room (the whole floor stank). The front desk clerk was snotty about it.

“Recently remodeled, the beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept on. The rooms are beautiful.”

• Handicap suite, shower wasn't great.

“My traveling companion and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Doubletree in ABQ, NM. The room felt clean & safe. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at this hotel in my future trips to ABQ. It beats La Quinta!”

• The cookie they gave us on arrival. That's it!
• Everything.

“Will never stay again. The room was small, not to mention the bathrooms. The staff was rude from the start. We had to pay $10.00 a day to park in the hotel parking lot. The rude hotel staff said it was part of the incidentals. The hotel seemed uninviting the minute you walked in. Everything was metal and outdated. I've stayed in less expensive hotels and received better service and amenities.”

• Nice linens.
• $$ parking and no attendant.

“Located in downtown Albuquerque the Doubletree is within walking distance of the downtown revival area of Central Ave and a quick drive to both the University and Old Town which makes for a convenient location. The staff was friendly and helpful and the overall atmosphere was beautiful and comfortable. Unfortunately several nearby empty buildings are a magnet for homeless so the neighborhood feels a little dicey after dark. The biggest negative is lack of attended parking.”
