• Classy, convenient to downtown and old town.
• Lobby was being renovated while I was there.

“Liked the room layout, the bed linens, the parking & lobby. It was an easy 2 block walk to the bars and restaurants downtown. Old town Albuquerque was minutes away. The view of the Sandia mountains from the 16th floor was awesome.”

• Great staff.
• Terrible parking. No continental breakfast.

“Don't bother, unless you're walking or in a taxi. Parking is nearly impossible, and very expensive. No free parking for any guest, and their lot is almost always full of others not staying at the hotel. Next lot is a far walk.”

• The easy access to keva juice and starbucks.
• You had to pay 5.00 for a bottle of water!

“Their parking garage is a bit tricky to get to and there was a lot of noise. The bed however was very comfortable. And the rooms are spacious, there is no hair dryer or no iron that we were able to locate, so make sure to bring your own along.”

• The staff was very nice and helpful.
• The pool was not available, nor did it say so online.

“The location is ideal, being 1 block away from the convention center. The bell and front desk staff was very good. I was disappointed to find the pool was not in service, nor did they advertise it. After I left, I realized I left behind an item. When I called for a report, the person handling the report was short and
very rude.”

• The location downtown was great. Restaurants, retail shops and Movie theater were close by.
• Access to the parking garage. Had to drive around the block for parking underneath.

“I travel a lot with my children for business and leisure. I would recommend the Hyatt to other business and family acquaintances.”

• The toiletries are great, the furnishings are nice, and the views and windows are well above average.
• For the quality of the hotel, the paper products were abrasive and it sure would be nice to get the bottom fitted sheet rather than a flat sheet.

“Nice location near everything downtown and both interstates. It's a short drive to old town and is easy to find - its the baby pointy head building next to the bigger pointy head Bank of Albuquerque.”

• It is a great location, with very helpful staff. The common space is beautiful.
• Parking was inconvenient and costly. My impression of the hotel restaurant was that they discouraged small children.

“This is a very nice, classy hotel with professional staff and numerous amenities. The hotel is conveniently located for downtown Albuquerque functions, which probably accounts for there seeming to be an attitude and overall atmosphere which caters to and encourages businesses/conventions, rather than travelling families.”

• After traveling 14 hours the bed was more comfortable then the one
  I have at home.
• I like everything, friendly bell hops and desk employees are very helpful.

• It's location was perfect for a night on the town with friends.
• That you had to pay $12.00 to park.

“The rooms were nice and clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept on. The only downfall is the lack of parking. When I arrived I had to sit out in the street for several minutes while the valet service moved several cars. After I has checked in I learned it would cost me $12.00 a night to park my car.”

“I was very pleased with the way we were greeted, we felt very welcomed and confident that we were going to have a pleasant stay. Our room was very clean and quiet. We hope to stay again if we are back in Albuquerque.”

• Room was not clean, floors were dirty, shower was moldy.

“We were strongly disappointed in the quality of the hotel. The room was not clean, the floors were dirty, and the shower had mold in the grout. The service and environment of the hotel restaurant was terrible. The chairs were stained and dirty and the wait time to be greeted and served exceeded 10 minutes. Very disappointed customer service.”

• Pool was a bit small for such a nice hotel like this.

• Staying in downtown was great.
• Room cleaning and requested refrigerator took too long.

“Other than the delay in getting the room cleaned one day and the fact that it took a full day to get a fridge, this property was great. In fairness, the property did give us a bottle of wine because of the housekeeping problem and did not charge us for the fridge, the fact that it happened was something I did not expect out of a Hyatt. Other than that, the room was very comfortable with a nice view of the mountains. Would have liked a little more shade in the pool area, but when timed right, the pool was very nice and relaxing. The hotel restaurant was helpful, our meal was the breakfast buffet and when I mentioned that the pancakes looked old, they made a fresh plate for me and delivered it to my table. Overall, I rate my stay very good.”

“The Hyatt in Albuquerque is centrally located Downtown and closes the Old Town, U. of Mexico, and other attractions. Rooms are spacious, quiet, and comfortable. There are nice room views of the surrounding hills and plains from the Tower. Staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. Didn't check restaurant or services as we only stayed the night but this was a great stop on our trip and we would return on revisiting the area.”

• Very well appointed hotel. This was my second stay & will stay there again.
• The hotel does not offer an airport shuttle. It costs $18 per person to pay for the airport shuttle. No phone books!

“I like this hotel very much. It truly feels like a 4 star hotel. My only complaint is the lack of hotel transportation to the airport. The cabs and shuttle services are notoriously expensive in New Mexico. Some hourly airport service would be nice, especially for families.”

• Bathrooms kind of old for a three star.

• Looked beautiful, clean, great staff.

“Room was beautiful we looked out at the Sandia Mountains, dinner was at the hotel, excellent food, it's also located right Downtown for evening fun. Hotel staff was great at recommending places to go including breakfast the next morning - everything we did was within walking distance. I'd recommend the Hyatt to anyone wanting to stay Downtown.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Albuquerque and hope to stay there again soon. It's a cosmopolitan hotel in a not-so-cosmopolitan city. We love ABQ, but usually don't expect Chicago-style accommodations when we visit. Yet, we felt we were in a high-end hotel from our hometown, and could hardly believe it. The location is convenient and central, the food from their restaurant was great. The only gripe I had was the rude and grumpy bartender. Overall, you can't go wrong staying here.”
