• Clean, ample parking, close to shopping, free parking.
• Swimming pool was broken, dark area around hotel, limited breakfast.

“Room was small but clean. Pool was broken (very disappointing for the kids). They offered use of a nearby one. No fitness center, offered use of a nearby one, but that's awkward with a family. Breakfast was simple, and they ran out of some foods. Pleasant staff.”

• Shopping center located next door and restaurants with in walking distance. The highway located very near and other tourist sites close by.
• A group of young men were outside at 2:45 a.m. I didn't know if they were guests or not. It cause me concern I alerted the front desk.

“I would recommend this hotel to all my friends. It was a comfortable setting and the employees were so helpful and kind. The room was clean and neat, the bed was very comfortable. There was an elevator for those who had a lot of luggage. Cracker Barrel was located in the rear of the hotel and other restaurants within walking distance.”

“Room met my needs for a short two nights stay. The continental breakfast was very ordinary, It would not take the place of a morning meal. The room was clean and the staff was unobtrusive. No complaints.”

• The people who worked there were very kind and courteous, breakfast was delightful.
• The room was a bit icky and we could not open curtain cause people would see us in parking lot.

• His hotel was quiet and convent to all four activates. It provided us with a good breakfast to start our day.
• Since we were staying for 12 days I wish that we would have had a fridge and microwave in our room.

• I liked the helpful staff and the elevator.
• The bathtub didn't drain very well.

“I really liked the hotel. The first night we had to have a smoking room and it was terrible. The room was great but it smelled so badly of smoke which is actually normal for a smoking room and a smoker probably wouldn't mind. ”

• Not enough television channel selection.

“Overall the hotel is very clean and efficiently run. They might be a little short staffed in the early morning for the breakfast crowd as one person had to mind the desk and refill the juice containers, etc. I'm not sure if it was children, but you could hear people running or jumping on the level above. I would stay here again.”

• The female desk clerk at check in was wonderful!
• Hard to locate hotel, another la quintal very close.

“The hotel was clean and very nicely furnished. The beds were comfortable. The front desk clerk was so very helpful; she even called a restaurant for us to make sure we still had reservations for new years eve. The furniture in the room was nice and the decor was way above average. The only negative is when you are getting off the freeway, there is another la quintal at the same exit within a block, and it is confusing which the hotel you are going to is. A Name would be nice say la-quintal lasso¿s cruces ii or something. Or a sign on the main street off the freeway pointing to the la quintal. The signage is very small to indicate there is a la quintal there. But the other la quintal has a huge sign and presence. I liked this hotel and will definitely stay there again. The breakfast was yummy!”

“We have stayed at many different hotels in lass cruses and this on is by far the cleanest, quietest, and safest. My wife even likes to stay here because of above and location next to Wal-Mart and other shopping.”

• Rude staff, key to room would not work, staff not accommodating.

“Had to beg staff to get them to do anything. We needed toothpaste and asked the front desk if they had any, they gave us one small pouch (for 2 people!) I had to request more. It took us an hour to get into the room when we arrived because the room key would not work and the front desk clerk just kept trying to re-set different keys. I had to request a different room, who knows how long we would have sat there waiting for him. I asked for a king size bed to upgrade our double full size beds. I was even willing to pay for it and the clerk said that it was too much paperwork to get the king size.”

• It was centrally located and made traveling to other parts of town fast and easy.
• There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room so it made it difficult for leftovers.

“Overall the hotel was clean neat and convenient. However there was no elevator there for we had to drag the luggage up the stairs and down again. I would recommend this hotel to a friend if they did not have to much luggage.”

• It was very clean and the breakfast was better than most.
• There was only one person at the desk. She was on the phone and we had to wait to check in.

“The hotel was very clean. The beds were comfortable. There was limited channels especially for children, but the pool was very nice. The continental breakfast was good. My son was happy they had yogurt and fruit! This hotel was much nicer than the one we stayed in the following night and paid $30 more for.”

• Pet Friendly! Breakfast was excellent!
• Only one elevator for the hotel.

“The hotel was perfect for our visit and I would recommend using price line to my friends and I will use it again. The only thing I would recommend for the La Quinta is that there was only one elevator. There was a softball and golf tournament so it was a little difficult to get on the elevator and we had to wait a long time. Other than that minor thing it was a great place to stay and we loved the fact that La Quinta is pet friendly. We don't have children, but our schnauzer is like our child. She goes everywhere with us. Thank you for a great stay!”

• The location and price were great for us. We stayed there previously and it has since been remodeled.
• The carpet was stained, the window was filthy and the sink drain was terribly slow.

“It was previously Baymont Inn, now La Quinta. The last time we were there, approximately a month ago, they were remodeling the hotel. Now the hotel was remodeled and seemed to be done tastefully. Our room however, was not the best. The carpet was stained the sink drain was horribly slow and the window was filthy. I don't think this is a representation of the whole hotel, but not our best experience in this hotel.”

• I prefer a small refrigerator in the room and more comfortable beds. There was nothing stating check-out times and no Do Not Disturb sign.

“It served the purpose for a place to sleep and shower. I wasted a lot of time trying to find it, as I had booked at Baymont Inn and Suites, and I had no way of knowing it had changed to La Quinta. I would not have booked if I had known it was La Quinta, because I had a bad experience at a La Quinta in Dallas a few years ago.”

• Price gauzing because of events in town. Instead of $75 room we paid $125 and the room was not worth more than 75.

“I hate price gauzing. Other than that the hotel was fair and the morning meal more than expected. Rooms are clean as is the rest of hotel. Location for us was perfect and we will stay there again at the regular prices.”

• No lobby Internet access, no refrigerator in room, limited choice of TV channels.

“The room was very clean and comfortable and the surroundings were quiet. But it would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room. The continental breakfast was very good with a wide selection of items. Parking was ample and the staff, although very small in number, was helpful. Selection of TV channels was somewhat limited. Access to La Mesilla and downtown Las Cruces was very easy.”

• Great amenities for the price and free internet access.
• Not particularly attractive or distinctive building/interior design.

“This was my first stay at a La Quinta; my only knowledge of the chain was the ads that say "Spanish for high-speed internet access." As I work on the internet every day I was happy to try a La Quinta for this reason. My expectations were far exceeded -- this was the nicest "budget" hotel I have stayed in. It had a nice swimming pool, free toiletries if you forgot your own, and of course the free wireless internet access which "just worked" unlike in some other budget motels I have stayed in. I will definitely seek out La Quinta hotels in the future.”

• Room had a faint odor of cigarette smoke, but was labeled non-smoking.

“Great stay other than the slight cigarette smoke in the room, which the staff suggested was left by a previous guest who disregarded the no smoking status of the room. Everything else was clean and quiet. Great value!”

“I very much enjoyed my stay at the LC Beaumont. I was in town for the Bataan Memorial Death March (along with several hundred other people!). The staff was very friendly and helpful in terms of telling me how long it would take to get to the course, where to eat, etc. The room was spacious and clean. Overall, it was a great place to stay, and I plan on staying there again next year!”

• Our bed was too hard, difficult to get good night sleep.

“I chose to stay in Las Cruces because I was traveling from San Antonio to Phoenix. The hotel was conveniently located to I-10 and the staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is currently undergoing renovations. The room was nothing spectacular, but was sufficient for a night or two. My only complaint were that the beds were foam and extremely hard. I found it difficult to get to sleep.”

“I loved the staff of the location, they are about the best staff that I have ever met in a hotel. I rent a hotel room often and would definitely recommend this hotel to others. They must first ask if the room was recently remodeled because the paint fumes were almost nauseating. The pool was so dirty we did not even attempt to jump in that was the down fall of the visit because the pool was so dirty we walked to the best western inn and used their clean pool which was warm and comfortable.”

• Quiet and secure, well maintained attractive lobby.
• The breakfast server could not keep up with the volume seemed frazzled.

“Located very close to the highway exit, visible from expressway. Excellent close restaurants, Applebee's, Cracker Barrel. Also adjacent to a shopping center including a super Wal-Mart. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and included fresh waffles, yogurt, fruit, cereals and breads.”

• I was in town for a family funeral, staff were very courteous.
• Everything was just fine.

“Easy location to find, with excellent restaurants available. Bed was very comfortable, room was clean and quiet. Staff seemed to go out of their way to make my stay comfortable and convenient.”
