• The location & the staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
• The rooms were very dark, not very well lit.

“We very much liked the hotel. The location was great and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were a bit small for the price and not lit very well but overall we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back.”

• Staff was very personable.
• Poor lighting at sink. Good not shave or put on make-up.

“I would stay again if the lighting was improved at the bathroom sink. Even one of the small bulbs was burnt out making it even worse. Otherwise we like staying there.”

• Parking garage was dirty, wet.

“The hotel is not currently at a 3 star level. Half of the exercise equip was out of order, the ice machine on our floor was out of order and our room was not as clean as we would have liked. The only parking option is the under ground parking garage which was dark and wet (water was leaking from overhead pipes at several points). Adding insult to injury, parking was an extra.”

• A low budget style hotel.

“Check-in: There was a male and female at the counter at check-in. We dealt with the male, who was unfriendly and didn't seem to want to bother with us. He checked us in with no sign of customer service friendliness. Room: Basic 2-star room, nothing fancy, nothing special, just a room, bed, TV, iron, etc. Room was dull and dingy looking. Services: Continental breakfast was ok. Room was very small and everyone had to lean over/around each other when getting food. Luckily a few people picked up their breakfast items and left, I'm assuming going back to their room which I'd be a bit concerned about eating in due to cleanliness. Though, if some wouldn't have done this we'd have all been sitting in each other's laps in the tiny room.”

• Comfortable bed and clean room. Nice decor.
• Charge for resort fee and hot tub not open early morning.

“The so called items that the fee covered did not apply to probably 90 percent of the guest (snow ski storage or bicycle storage) and no one available for valet parking. The parking lot was a considerable walk and would have been impossible for the physically challenged. Otherwise, we enjoyed the hotel and location.”

• It seemed like everytime you turned around there was a charge.

• Parking for non-guests was hard to find.

• The comfortable, plush beds, the balcony overlooking the valley, room service.
• The kitchen exhaust fan below balcony, the room not made well, $8.00 fee for water/coffee in room.

“Construction right now made it difficult to find the Sheraton, but the location on the ski slope was lovely. Room service was fun, bell hop delightful and helpful. The underground parking was superb with all the construction, parking would have been impossible.”

• Only had dial up for computer use or you had to pay for DSL, they should offer free high speed internet.

• Easy to get to places, pillows, sheets & comfy bed.
• People were not very welcoming, room doors let light into room and noise from people walking outside door.

“It had all the right things for it to be a resort but I did not like that there was a gap under the room door that let the light in from the hall and noisy when people walk in and out. The decor could be a little updated.”

• Our room was right off the roof of the lower building.

“My boyfriend and I were very satisfied with the room and although our balcony was in line with the roof of the lower building with vents all over it, we did have a view of the mountains from it if we looked past it, which we did. Overall, very satisfied with the accommodations.”

• The restaurant staff were lazy to the point of non-existence.

“An excellent property with great amenities, comfortable rooms, convenient parking, and friendly, helpful staff. Certainly deserving of its three star rating. (actually, it felt more like a four star property). If I'm ever back in Steamboat Springs, I'd definitely stay there again.”

“Out room was on the second floor, the balcony was on the roof of the 1st floor - our view was a wall that separated us from the hot tubs and the roof (which has fans and equipment which made a lot of noise). We asked for a different room, we were told that because of the price we paid, we didn't deserve a better room. However, if we wanted to pay more money - they would upgrade us to one of their many available rooms. We also had they service elevator on one side of us and the stairs across the hall.”

• The owner of one of the boutique stores in the hotel apparently lives in his camper in the entry parking loop

“Beautifully situated at the base of the ski hill at Steamboat Springs. Staff was very friendly and upgraded our room to one with a better view as it was their slow season. This is a very nice place.”

• There was trouble with the plumbing in our room upon check-in. The staff promptly moved us to a new room. The service was great.
• I can't say there was anything we did not like.

“The service at the hotel was top notch. They never hesitated in taking care of our requests. I will look forward to staying here again and would strongly recommend the location to friends and family.”
