• The hotel staff was helpful and friendly.
• I think their charges are a little overpriced for being in Grand Junction, CO.

• The gift bag was awesome and helpful!
• Was told they had wireless internet, front desk guy acted very annoyed that I buggies him to find out how to get connected I had a large project due.

“Included breakfast was nice. Hotel room was spacious, and the gift bags in the hotel were very helpful. We were there on a prom night, so it was very loud all around us. That wasn't the hotel's fault, though. I think the beds were full rather than queen, which we usually use as a determining factor, and the internet was dataport, but fairly fast once it was hooked up. When I asked about wireless high speed, I was initially told, "yeah, that's only in the lobby and there's a 30 minute limit." This sent me into panic mode since I had a huge project due the next day that required internet access. I then went down to the front desk to ask if there were any other options. The guy sighed and rolled his eyes, then said, "don't you have data cables?" When I told him no, and we haven't found any in the room yet (we did later, though) he got up and went and dug around and found us some. Once we got connected, everything was fine, but I was a little irritated that I was told wireless before my trip so I planned accordingly.”

• It had a bed.
• The staff was very unfriendly. The breakfast was a bit of a mess and no one cleaned or wiped tables in between guests.

“For having to bid up to the price I did, I believe $60 + tax - I would expect the hotel to be higher quality than what it was.”

• Great breakfast friendly staff. The breakfast lady was awesome and very nice!
• Had ants invade the bathroom the first morning. Breakfast should last longer.

“It would have been great if the breakfast would have lasted longer then 9 AM. 9:30 would have helped.”

• Was a short distance into town.
• They didn't advertise their pool or hot down until we were checked in.

“This was a good place to stay. For being so close to the freeway, it wasn't as loud as was expected. Good breakfast bar. Wish some type of announcement would have been made more clearer about the pool and hot tub not working during the winter season.”

• Beds and pillows were like floating on a cloud.
• Game rentals did not work.

“Staff was helpful and kind. I couldn't get my laptop to connect to the internet, so the front desk person came up and connected it for me. The rooms were very comfortable, the beds were to die for, and I slept like a queen. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.”

• It was very clean and had an open, light feeling to it.
• I thought that it was hard to find.

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is very clean and bright. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was appealing and had a good variety of food.”

• One bedspread was missing fabric but reported this to the front desk.

• Excellent staff, they were extremely helpful when we were delayed by a road closure.
• The only thing that anyone noticed was the elevator made noises and only one sink in the bathroom.

“Great location, tremendous staff, really helpful. The Continental breakfast was absolutely excellent, good food and varied enough for everyone. We had a very good stay at this La Quinta. I would definitely contact them again if I need a place to stay in Grand Junction.”

• I liked the price.
• I hated the location, it was very hard to find.

“The room was clean and stocked. The location was terrible. The wind whistled around the corners of the building all night long. There was no local guide in the room to let me know what was close by. No restaurant listings, nothing. The hotel only had one vending machine, which was broken. The nearest store was a little more than a car ride away.”

• Hotel was clean and nice. Bedding was comfortable, and amenities were good.
• Two outlets in the room did not work which required moving the desk to plug in my laptop.

• The hotel was very attractive and inviting.
• The continental breakfast could have been better maintained.

“This hotel was nice and had a nice big bathroom. However, the walls need to be washed as they were dirty and had hair hanging down from previous occupants. Also, the top cover of the bed smelled like it hasn't been washed since putting it on the bed.”

• It was a great value for the price and exceeded my expectations!
• No refrigerator in the room.

“You, as a traveler, will appreciate the extra effort that this hotel gives you. From being down right friendly at the front desk upon arrival to making sure you leave with a full stomach upon your early morning departure. It is clear that the management and their staff want to ensure that you were happy during your stay. The rooms are modern, spacious, neat and VERY CLEAN. The continental breakfast was more than just cold cereal and a muffin. It also featured a variety of beverages, a Belgian waffle bar, hard boiled eggs and more. You will also appreciate having the newspaper at your door when you wake up. I will stay at this hotel again and again because of my experience.”

• Staff works hard to keep motel looking good.
• Route from highway to hotel confusing, frontage road does not connect.

“August 2006. Motel is new and still shows it. Rooms are clean and fresh. Room with 2 double beds had enough floor space to add a roll away bed and still maneuver easily. Breakfast included hot items. All amenities included, iron and board, hair dryer, coffeemaker, fridge and microwave. This should be the standard for all motels.”

• Nice pool, good breakfast with wide variety, staff was helpful - fixed our bedding problem quickly.
• One of our beds was covered in dog hair, the motel quickly brought us new bedding and gave us a free movie!

“Nice place in a good location - easy to get to as it is close to the highway. The breakfast had several options including waffles, hard boiled eggs and sausage. The outdoor pool and hot tub were nice. The staff was friendly.”

• VERY CLEAN!!! I was astounded! And the breakfast was awesome!
• We didn't get the queen bed we reserved.

“La Quinta Inn Grand Junction is wonderful! The rooms are so clean and the decorating is good too! The continental breakfast was fabulous. It included cereal, milk, OJ, apple juice, coffee, sausage, eggs, make your waffles, fruit yogurt, breads, and I'm sure there's something I'm missing! This hotel was wonderful, especially considering the price we paid!”

• Still in renovation that is not convenience at all.

“La Quinta is very nice hotel. I stayed couple times with La Quinta in other city/state. However, most of them are still in renovation that makes my stay is not comfortable.”

• It was nice and clean, with warm cookies in the afternoon and a nice breakfast bar in the morning. It was conveniently located near the airport.
• I was in an west facing room and the wind whistled through the window all night.

• It is older and did not smell fresh.

• Air did not adjust that easily.

“Overall, this is a good hotel for business or distance travelers. I'm very picky, so this hotels gets an above average (8) rating but they still have ways to go for superior (10).”
