• Easy access to the highway.
• Noisy dogs and rowdy people staying there, possibly living there.

“It is pet friendly if you are in need of that. However, it was noisy with lots of dogs and a rowdy crowd.”

• The size of the fridge was perfect for our grocery needs.
• There never seemed to be enough towels.

“The staff was friendly, but we had to move once because something in our bathroom leaked, and we ended up with an inch of water on the floor. All in all, it was a very decent place to stay. It would have been nice if they had a kiddies pool, but we managed nonetheless.”

• Everyone was nice and helpful, the food was great!
• No one carried me up the stairs and tucked me in at night.

“The hotel was very clean and actually smelled nice. You could tell that the hotel was a bit old however, it looked like they remodeled it recently. Everyone was professional and even the waitress who served me my free breakfast was very friendly.”

• It was clean and the beds were very comfortable.
• Parking was limited.

“This hotel was easy to get to from the highway, but far enough away not to hear traffic. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. I would stay there again.”

• Having a restaurant on site with breakfast included in the room price.
• Manager was not very friendly about the dog barking while we were eating.

“Nice for the price. The towels were in need of replacing (small and thin) but plenty were provided. It would be nice if the pool were covered and open year round instead of seasonally.”

• Nice people. Good restaurant.
• Getting to the outdoor pool in cold weather was a bit challenging. We still had fun!

“Reasonably priced. With a nice little family style restaurant attached. Restaurant and pool both closed a bit early. But they catered well to my kids, and were very friendly. Even our value priced room had a microwave and fridge. The beds were quite comfortable and the pillows were great! Rooms were a bit noisy, I felt bad for the folks who had to listen to my crying baby all night. Overall, a great place for the price!”

• Very quick check in. Comfortable beds.
• Pool is very old. However, it was clean.

“Older hotel showing some wear but very clean. Friendly staff. Easy check in and out. None of the outer security doors are secured. The back door lock was not even on the door anymore. The breakfast menu is nice but the food was about lukewarm and I like my eggs hot off the grill. The pool is old and the tiles are cracking. Looks like they have caulked it several times but it needs replaced. Large dome over pool to make it usable all year round again, getting old and showing wear. Pool area was clean and there were plenty of towels.”

• Breakfast was fantastic! Beds were wonderful.
• No Jacuzzi.

“Rooms were very nice. The full free breakfast was fantastic. The beds were very comfortable. And our kids loved the stay. (A huge plus!)”

• The hotel was convenient, clean and quiet.
• I did not like the smell (like carpet powder deodorizer) of the carpet in the halls.

“The hotel was clean. The staff was very friendly. It was nice having a restaurant connected to the hotel, and we received complimentary breakfast vouchers each morning. The rooms were surprisingly quiet except for doors closing. I would stay at this hotel again.”

• Friendly staff, convenient location.
• Cleanliness! We were there four days and the floor was never cleaned, the toiletries were never replenished and bed linens were only changed once.

“Old, in need of paint and general refurbishing. Not clean! Management really needs to address this issue!”

“The hotel is well located, near i-70. The room was large and comfortable. The separated bath was a nice convenience. The complimentary breakfast was far more than the usual continental breakfast. There was a nice choice of breakfast menus to suit any appetite.”

• It's a very old hotel. The hotel sink has draining problem. The noise insulation is bad.
• The hotel staff is rude. The room is clean but not maintained very well. Not to mention listening to a guy walking around upstairs at 1am.

“The hotel is old and not maintained very well. Then people upstairs checked in 11pm and walk around over my head until 1am. I couldn't get much sleep that night. And when I checked out, the lady insisted me giving her a master card for her to check me out. I told her I paid the hotel stay with my discover card, and also use my discover card when checked in. I never gave hotel any master card. And she doesn't know how to check me out. So I have to wait 10 minutes for her manager to come to check me out. The manager checked me out. I asked her for a receipt. ”

• The rate was great and it was clean the location also was great.
• The mattress was stiff and the pillows were not fluffy.

• They allowed pets. it would be nice to profile that.
• I was stuck with a smoking room without prior knowledge.

“I have stayed here before and it is a simple hotel with a pool but the staff is nice the rooms a pretty clean and it isn't right next to the highway so you don't get the noise but close enough to find from the highway.(.3mi).”

• There is nothing nice to say about this hotel.
• The room was so filthy (including rat droppings in the bathroom) that we checked out of the hotel and had to go somewhere else.

“It was a hassle after a long day of travel to find our room so dirty we couldn't stay there and had to go find another hotel in town. The room wasn't clean & the rat droppings in the bathroom really sent my daughter into a fit. I was horrified!”

• Inexpensive, easy on and off I-70.
• Motel room smelled strongly of urine, seedy characters hanging around.

“If you're looking for a $50 place to crash before hitting the road again, Mesa Inn isn't a bad choice. However, you should know that someone apparently got their kicks off of urinating in every room's ac unit (all 3 rooms I checked out smelled strongly of urine when the unit was turned on). Also, be prepared to be offered drugs in the parking lot.”

• No breakfast, no real workout area.

“The hotel was not very nice- a little run-down. There was no breakfast, and the workout room was a broken-down bicycle, and a poor weight machine. The staff was less than warm and friendly. All in all, very disappointing.”

• It was hot and there was a small outdoor pool for the kids to jump into.
• Outside entry to rooms, not updated, door hard to open, felt unsafe.

“I feel like this hotel is a one and a half star tops. The ice maker was outside and not working, you gain access to your room from outside, which I don't care for, it seemed a little run-down, our door was hard to get into, overall it is just not a place I would feel comfortable staying in again, let alone taking my children to.”

• The hotel was older, as was the shower.

“The Mesa Inn had very friendly staff and was fine for our needs. We were driving from CA to CO and stopped in Grand Junction for the night. There were a few restaurants within walking distance. The price was very reasonable as well.”

• Last time I stayed here for the same price they included breakfast.

• I reserved this from PA for my parents in CO, They asked if a continental breakfast was included. Clerk snapped.

“I reserved this for my parents traveling on the road and they were having trouble finding a motel. They had no idea what came with their room. When they asked if a continental breakfast came with the room. It was clean and they had a nice room.”
