• Have breakfast, refrigerator, microwave and close to National park.
• Outside street is too dark at night.

• couldn't use pool or jacuzzi because of children.

“The amenities were to have included a microwave and a refrigerator which it didn't. They didn't monitor the pool at all. They allowed up to 10 children at a time in the jacuzzi and they were in the pool until closing time. We couldn't even get near the pool.”

• It had a bed in it and air conditioning.
• It wasn't clean, hair and dirt were in the bed, sink and bathroom.

“I've been in worse hotels. This really wasn't bad, but there was hair on the floor in the bathroom, hair in the sink and hair in the bedding. It wasn't really comforting to see that. The alarm clock didn't work and I never received the wake-up call that I'd asked for. I've spent much less money on hotels with much cleaner rooms and better service. If there are no others available it will work, but I wouldn't really recommend it.”

• The staff was anything but helpful.

“When we ask the girl at the desk if she could recommend a restaurant in town, she replied with a giggle and a shrug. Her boyfriend was leaning on the counter and capturing all of her attention. The beds were not comfortable and the rooms were worn and not fresh.”

• The pricing was okay.
• The whole hotel smelled "old, the parking was not big enough.

“The hotel had an old musky smell and the parking lot did not accommodate all of the guests and their trailers. The air conditioner did not work and the TV remote was broken. When asked to have these repaired the attendant said he would try but not likely so he would look for another hotel for us to stay in (crappy customer service).”

• Convenient location, clean room, easy going attitude, price.
• Outdoor spa needs to be cleaner, breakfast is quite minimalist and unhealthy, and no bikes allowed in room.

“Clean and friendly. It is a good thing that it is situated a little off from town's center because it is more relaxing. Outdoor spa should be better maintained and cleaner to be enjoyed, especially in an outdoor place like Moab. Overall a good choice.”

• The motel room was fine. It included HBO TV, a fridge and a microwave.
• We could not find any parking spots in the main parking lot. Had to park in the back and walk. Not enough handicapped parking stalls.

“The hotel was in a good location just off the main road of Moab. Check in was easy. Swimming pool looked clean. Desk attendant was able to answer location questions about surrounding National parks.”

“Very scaled down motor lodge. They did offer free breakfast. I did not think that it was worth the price. I would have paid a bit more and gotten a 2 star.”

• The location was good.
• It was not the cleanest or most comfortable motel 8 we've stayed in.

“It was not the best stay at a motel 8 that we've have had for the money. We usually have had great experiences with them. It was okay, Id stay again if I had to, but it would not be my first choice.”

• The hotel is very close to the Arches National Park.
• Downtown Moab is not within walking distance.

“This is a budget hotel with huge parking space. The room is clean and comfortable. It also has a nice pool with a Jacuzzi. It is very close to the Arches National Park. Downtown Moab is a must-see attraction, but not within walking distance.”

• Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very clean.
• They give you 2 room keys; both don't work for the outside doors. A little confusing.

“I was very impressed with how clean the bathroom was. I have little kids that still need the bathtub. Most of the time in hotels I shower them, unless it is spotless. Like this one. Also the beds were more comfortable than I thought they would be. I would stay there again!”

• They lost my reservation.

“Two days prior to the stay I called the hotel and asked the hotel directly to add another day to my stay. They had availability and booked me for another day. However, when I got there I found I had no reservation for the extra day. They were rude and indicated that because I did not have the name of the person that I booked the stay with, that I was lying. They had a smoking room which I did not want and refused to hold a room while checked elsewhere. The staff were not helpful or friendly. Staying in two different hotels had a negative impact on our stay. The only positive was that they did check us in early for our room on Sat. Never an apology only that it was impossible for someone to have taken a reservation for an extra day.”

“The Super 8 in Moab is a good jumping off point to see the sights of Moab. I would not want to spend more than a night or two there. This hotel is a place to crash and get on with the natural splendor of Northeast Utah.”

• Friendly staff, one of few nationally known hotels in area.
• Posted sign regarding limits to continental breakfast, mold.

“This hotel covered the basics of a stay. Didn't appreciate posted sign regarding limits as to what is expected in a continental breakfast. Glad there was a nationally known hotel in the National Park area.”

• Continental breakfast was terrible and disorganized.

“The hotel is on the far outskirts of town which is convenient for accessing tourist sites and scenic routes. However, it is far from the downtown, where the restaurants and taverns are located.”

“This hotel is perfect for the traveler that's just passing through town, or won't be spending much time in the hotel room. It was not within walking distance of the down- town hot spots, but a fine place to sleep at.”
