• Stayed here before and it was great! Pretty nice hotel.
• This room was horrible. We were in a different part than we're used to and it was smelly and old.

• I loved the fire pits at night and the beds and pillows were awesome!
• We didn't get fresh towels for our second day.

“My friend and I came for a college football game and really enjoyed our time. The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. loved the fire pits and the beds and pillows were awesome! We also asked for a late checkout time and we were accommodated with no extra fee. Would definitely stay here again!”

• The hotel staff was extremely friendly. Everyone was accommodating, and they upgraded us to a suite for free.
• The pool area can be somewhat noisy at night.

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It's an older hotel and not in the most exciting area, but everyone is extremely helpful and the hotel is kept up well. The rooms are very impressive, with comfortable beds, flat screen TV's and more than enough space. The restaurant is good but a bit expensive.”

• It had wireless and wired connections for internet and a plug for your computer on the lamp.
• The bed.

“For the price the hotel is definitely worth it, but the bed was uncomfortable and
I really noticed that. Not that the bedding was unclean, the mattress just wasn't that comfortable.”

• The Common Areas of the hotel were nice. 24 hour Pool.
• 3 channels on TV, No Local Channels, Walls were Thin, can hear neighbors.

• It was a good place to stay just to get away.
• it was under construction and the swimming pool was too far from my room.

“The room was nice, Sheraton had just upgraded their TV system I didn't like the fact that we were limited to only three TV channels but other than that my stay there was nice.”

• The rooms were nice.
• The corridor to the room looked old and worn.

“The front desk area is very modern and some of the room have french doors..nice. The food is good quality and the staff is nice. I was disappointed with the corridor and how aged it looked. I would however, stay there again.”

• Check in process was quick and easy.
• No ice machines in the hotel were working, item's out of our hotel room were stolen by staff members.

“At first glance the hotel looked like it was going to be a great place to escape for a little get-away. However once arriving, it was clear they needed to spend a lot more time doing maintenance and repair so the amenities they advertise were actually working. Security of the hotel rooms was very poor. We actually had items out of our room stolen. Then when speaking to hotel management, all they did was ask a maid if she'd seen the items in question. She denied and they let it go at that. I am very unsatisfied with this hotel, and would never recommend anyone I know to stay there.”

• The bed was comfortable.
• I had to upgrade in order to receive a suite. I felt misled.

• Need minor repairs, chip's in bathroom fixtures, peeling paint.

• Location.
• Room, thin walls.

“The hotel had a funny smell to it. The room was a basic room, the walls were thin, and the lady at the front desk was not very friendly. She seemed to be bothered with checking us in.”

• Upon checkout, the staff at the front desk asked how my stay was.
• Two problems with the room keys, once checking in and the second near checkout.

“Nice property! The young lady at the front desk when I checked in was not particularly pleasant, though she wasn't rude, either. The room key was keyed to the wrong room and I had trouble getting settled, but a maintenance man happened along and walked the bad key all the way to the front and returned with the key corrected. The room was clean and comfortable.”

• Spacious rooms and
  bliss bath products.
• Wi-Fi internet not working in our room, but got complementary movie because of that.

“The rooms in this hotel are very spacious. It also has a refrigerator in the room. Very nice experience. Would highly recommend.”

• Updated, clean, convenient.
• Housekeeping accidentally sent alarm, thin walls with noisy neighbors late at night.

“As a whole, pretty nice. Thin walls- of course, noisy neighbors were actually partying out in the hall at midnight. No microwave, and not enough mirrors or mirror by an outlet except for the bathroom.”

• The bar offers S'mores you can toast by the fire pits.
• Can't think of anything.

“All the staff, from waiters to maintenance, seemed to make it their personal responsibility to help us have a good stay. I've never been at a hotel where everyone was so attentive and friendly without being intrusive. I highly recommend this hotel.”

• Location only.
• Ugly institutional room.

“The Sheraton is well located and the service friendly. However, the room itself was institutional, ugly and unpleasant. There was a large twin bed propped against the wall, the TV worked poorly and was ill-mounted.
If I had been staying more than one night, or if I had not been traveling solo, I would have demanded another room.”

“The price was great! The hotel is a 3 star, just remodeled and it looks great. Clean, comfortable and very friendly, customer service oriented staff. I will stay here again for sure!”

• Comfortable rooms and great staff.
• Construction and some areas closed.

“The guy who checked us in was very helpful and accommodating. There wasn't a king bed available. Several areas were under construction, but it was never an inconvenience. I would definitely stay here again.”

• Beautiful room, comfortable bed.
• Due to renovation and during a pouring rain storm waded through 4-5 inches of water.

“Was not aware the hotel was being renovated until I checked in. The only impact the renovation had on me was that I had to wade through 4-5 inches of standing rain water to access my room having hoped avoiding getting drenched in a downpour. The room was beautiful and quite comfortable.”

• They have a nice pool and spa.
• Hotel under construction; things were really dusty and torn up.

“Three stars? Wow I don't think so. Maybe quite a few years ago this was a nice place to stay, but those days are gone. There is a reason this hotel is being remodeled, beds are lumpy and worn out. Good thing they have a nice pool and spa or this stay would have been a complete disappointment.”

• Facilities in poor condition. Service was horrible.

“We ended up in 3 different rooms in one week of stay! First room the handicap bench in the shower broke off the wall causing a fall. Second room the door lock broke and we were basically confined to the room. Third room the air conditioner was sub-standard. Set at 60, it never cooled the room. The overall service of the staff was very poor. Housekeeping was horrible. Replaced towels but never took old ones away for close to 4 days! Did not change sheets when requested, even though they said they were coming right back to do so. The facilities were not very clean. Rust in the shower and sink areas. Carpets stained. When we tried to contact the front desk regarding issues the overall attitude of attendant was not very friendly. It made you think it was your fault. Finally speaking to manager her response was give a gift certificate for one nights stay. She wanted to sign me up for there points program. I do not care to ever stay at this hotel.”

• Lobby was beautiful. Most employees were extremely nice.
• Room and hallway we stayed in was ugly. Female desk clerk was extremely snotty and did not greet with smile.

“Although the hotel looks nice outside and in the lobby, once you enter your hallway and room, it looks like a bad cheap motel. Most employees were extremely helpful and polite. The female desk clerk that checked us in, however, greeted us with contempt. Her bad attitude and the bad room makes me not to recommend the hotel.”

• Great staff, very attentive and accommodating.
• Very crowded and had trouble finding convenient parking.

“The road to this hotel is extremely bad, it took us about 1 1/2hr to drive 17km. Do not drive at night, it is very difficult to see the giant rocks on the road. Get a 4x4 vehicle if you can. Do not expect to be watching television, talking on the phone, or surfing the Internet. There isn't even a phone in your room to call the front desk for help. You wouldn't need it because there is no one at the front desk to call after hours. Now the good stuff. The national park located next to the hotel was great. Horseback riding, hiking, canopy tour, and rafting was offered.”

• Really liked the Shine shampoo, lotion, etc.
• The plumbing and not enough electrical outlets.

• Location - it turned out to be across the street from where friends were staying.
• Ugly '70's design, noisy air conditioner (made hissing sound at random).

“A step up from your basic Comfort Inn, this Tucson Sheraton is nevertheless a throwback to the 1970's. The rooms are tastefully furnished and clean (though not immaculate), but some of the fixtures leave allot to be desired (the air conditioner in my room hissed at random, and the toilet leaked, which spoiled an otherwise quiet experience). The restaurant is best avoided - the adjacent I hop provides a far better breakfast, for less money. The gym is miniscule, and missing some popular equipment (like an elliptical trainer). The pool is large though, and while parking is fairly convenient it can be quite a hike to your room from the distant entrances, which I suppose with luggage constitutes its own workout.”

“Great place to stay. This is the third occasion my wife and I have stayed here. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, we love the well-kept courtyard, pool, and hot tub area, and the rooms are very nice for a very reasonable price. My only complaint is that they no longer serve a complimentary continental breakfast like they did the first two times we stayed there. That was one of the reasons we decided to stay there because it was a good meal already figured into the price. We were disappointed to see they changed that and had to make other plans for breakfast we had not planned for.”

• The pool and spa were very nice.
• They were unable to give us 2 beds. Also, we were in an older section that wasn't as well-kept (rust around the faucets, old carpet, etc.)

“We have stayed in the Sheraton in the past and we have always loved exploring the pool and the beautiful grounds. The suites are excellent, however, we were in a room this time (which was fine for our short stay). We definitely miss the poolside free hot breakfast buffet, which was the highlight of our stays in the past. Now, they offer a $10 buffet in the bar/restaurant. Overall, an excellent value and a relaxing get-away!”

• The staff was exceptionally friendly. I was late in and out, missed packing items, and they went out of their way.
• No hair dryer in the room.

“The room beat my expectations. The beds were comfortable and loaded with pillows, nice refrigerator, and the bathroom was clean and fully stocked. I mentioned the room felt a little cramped, but it was a double and there was no up-charge for that. There was plenty of room to walk around in and a nice size desk/table to spread out my laptop. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful as this was not the smoothest trip I've had and they accommodated my fumbling well. I hope to stay there again and next time, be prepared to use the court yard, gardens, pool and hot tub. There are plenty of restaurants in the area to choose from as well.”

• Could not securely latch sliding patio door.

“Swimming pool is in excellent condition. Doubt many people knew there was a sauna. I may have been only one using it. An IHOP is conveniently located next door.”
