• Was not just your basic boxed room. Had style to the room.

“Lobby was very nice and clean, staff was eager to help you check in fast. Room was beautiful and clean. The Grounds were in great shape .I loved it..”

• Hotel restaurant poorly organized and staffed for large groups.

“Very much liked the rooms (beautiful) and the social hour. Hotel was recently taken over 3 days before, and therefore the restaurant was not organized for a large group in town. Head waitress sat us, took our order and never returned with water, bread or anything for over 30 minutes. I'm pretty sure there will be some organizational meetings to improve service. She did warn us that they were short staffed, but.”

• The court yard and being close to the airport. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was very helpful.
• The pool was closed for 2 days of the 3 days we stayed.

• The staff was friendly, the room clean with lots of space, the breakfast wonderful.

• Excellent omelets, comfortable bed, good staff.
• Had to pay an exorbitant price for an internet connection, had to stay in a smoking room.

“It was a good hotel but I wouldn't have selected it because they charge extra for the internet. We do not smoke and the hotel did not have a non-smoking room for us. ”

• The hotel room was nice and met our needs.
• It was a little far from the freeway and needs a little make-over in the rooms.

“My family enjoyed the rooms we reserved, the hotel had everything we needed and more but could benefit from updating their rooms. The staff was helpful, the inside courtyard was very pretty and the breakfast buffet was perfect.”

• I felt very safe and comfortable; with the airport next door I was very impressed with the noise level.

• Lovely room, fabulous full-scale buffet hot breakfast in restaurant.
• Overall, a good experience.

“Embassy suites airport Tucson is very near the airport, but not so far off the highways, either. The room, a living room/bedroom combination was tastefully decorated, even elegant. Bedroom itself was a little small, but living space was large. Nice courtyard and ample parking. Best part was a truly wonderful full hot breakfast served in their restaurant. Put most others to shame!”

• This hotel is the closest one to the airport and the rooms are very nice.
• Bottled water was available in the room for $2.50 each, a little steep.

“This hotel is very nice. All the rooms are suites and have 2 TVs, one in the living room area and one in the bedroom. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large and spacious with a handheld shower head which was nice and several grip bars. Rooms come with a microwave and a small fridge. This is excellent if you need to stay a night before or after a flight at the airport. It really is the closest one to the airport. My expectations were met and exceeded.”

“Hotel was very clean and had plenty of parking. The breakfast was amazing! We couldn't have gotten a better hotel for the price that is for sure. Plenty of room for a family (two beds and a pull out couch). Oh the kitchenette also came in quite handy. We definitely would stay there again.”

• Large and roomy with living area and bedroom area. Very well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

“I was very pleased with the location as I needed to be near the airport on this particular day. I really enjoyed the large and comfortable living room area which was separated with a wall and door from the bedroom area. This was supposed to be 3.5 stars, but I would rate it 4 or 5 stars.”

“Very good hotel employees, everyone was courteous and extremely helpful. The free breakfast was good and abundant but I needed to catch an early plane and the 6am breakfast did not even get started until about 6:15 and the hot food about 6:30. I still had plenty to eat with other foods put out at 6:15. ”

• This was a beautiful place and the staff was generally very friendly and helpful.
• The waiters at dinner were not particularly good.

“This was a wonderful hotel to stay at. The rooms were beautiful and the setting was lovely. I really appreciated the workout room. The breakfast and waiters/ waitresses at breakfast were excellent. ”

“After finally making it to the hotel the room was freezing, due to it being so late we just went to bed. Called the front desk the following morning and was told the heat had not been turned on yet. As for the alarm clock, since day light savings kicked it & the clock runs off of satellite we lost that hour in the middle of the night and were late to my daughters ballgame. One last thing, not starting breakfast until 7 am wasn't good, my daughter as well as I could not eat prior to leaving for her game.”

“Very convenient to TUS, nice courtyard and pool area, beds very comfortable, and a nice professional staff. The staff for the breakfast room was overworked on the weekends and ran out of lots of things, which made you wait. OJ machine didn't work, and the Chef looked like he preferred to be someplace else.”

• Beautiful view, large rooms, wooden shutters, high speed - excellent.
• Air conditioning too cold upon arrival for senior citizen, the carpet was very dirty.

“I rented the room just so I would not have to drive 80 miles back home after my sons football game only to drive the same 80 miles again in the morning to leave on a plane. I was only there one night and didn't expect much. When I got to the room I thought there must have been a mistake. It was a 3 room suite, large king bed - pillow top, a living area with flat screen TV, wet bar and a third room shut off by beautiful wooden shutters a full kitchen and a second bathroom - too bad I wasn't staying longer. The view was beautiful, the breakfast fanominal. I will look for an Embassy suites in the future”

“This was a great hotel. I stayed there twice, the visits two weeks apart. Both times, the staff was very friendly, helpful and courteous. The rooms were very big and clean. The bed was very comfortable. There is a free breakfast. I will definitely stay there again.”

• The rooms were quite large and we really like the separate bedroom.
• There really is nothing that we didn't like.

• The room we stayed in exceeded our expectations. The separate sink/makeup area was a plus and the bed was very comfortable.
• One of the elevators was out of order. The hotel is a little older but maintained adequately.

“This hotel was much nicer than I expected. The beds were made with quality bedding and fancy pillows. Even the hide-a-bed was nice and soft. Very clean and well-decorated. The pool was nice and warm and the pool towels were a nice treat. We enjoyed the free breakfast.”

• The front desk clerk is not clear on how to best get to your room.

• I loved the quality of linens and the decor of the hotel.
• The slight problem was the location, somewhat out of the main Tucson area.

• It was close to the airport. The rooms and beds were comfortable.
• Very noisy. Every time the room upstairs flushed, it sounded like Niagara Falls in my room.

“This is a very busy and noisy hotel. It looks like they run so many people through this place that they cannot quite keep it up to snuff. My room was very noisy, as it had highway noise on one side and Cantina/Pool noise on the other. I could clearly hear when the room above was using the bathroom. Every time the room upstairs flushed, it sounded like Niagara Falls in my room. The breakfast was only fair. They were out of milk, the tables were dirty, and the breakfast bar was so unkempt it was unappetizing. Very disappointing for a 3 star hotel. I have stayed in 2 stars that were nicer, quieter and less expensive. There were only about 10 channels on the TV. However, it is right next to the airport so it is convenient if you are flying out the next day.”

• The airport in Tucson has no flights after 10.00 pm, so it was quiet in the evening.
• The morning breakfast was so busy, people waited to have the trays filled.
