• I loved the very spacious bathroom and the nice amenities.
• Construction, albeit unobtrusive.

“Bathrooms are very spacious and the amenities are top-of-the-line. The room was recently renovated so the carpet, paint, furniture and linens all seemed so new and clean. Because my husband is an Omni member, they delivered complimentary orange juice, coffee and a newspaper, which we enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the golf course. Food and drink service by the pool was wonderful, as was our view of newly installed landscaping with colorful plant selections. Omni remains at the top of our preference list when it comes to hotel brands.”

“We were first time visitors to Tucson. We found the Omni to be beautiful, clean and very enjoyable. We stayed in the renovated part and the rooms were large and nice (although beds were doubles, not queens or kings). The staff was very helpful in every way, friendly and knowledgeable about all Tucson activities and locations. We found the activities at the resort (golf, etc.) reasonably priced, but the food was overpriced and we tended to eat elsewhere.”

• A very relaxing atmosphere, a great place to recharge.
• Over priced meals and not a very friendly. Must drive out to find near affordable restaurants.

“The Omni is a great place to relax, very beautiful and peaceful. Great golf course and friendly staff. Restaurants are overpriced for meals and drinks. A nice place to take your spouse or partner and have a very romantic time. Must visit near restaurants, food quality poor and drinks too expensive. Great staff and very helpful.”

• I enjoyed everything.

“The resort was relaxing and had something for everyone, golf, spa, pool. It was great for relaxing and distressing. I would recommend this resort to anyone and would stay there again.”

“Conveniently close to Phoenix, this hotel offers a family friendly staff, a nice getaway. However the lack of good restaurants is a negative. Even the hot breakfast at $18 per person does not measure up (no omelets at that price!).”

• Very nice, clean, quiet.
• I did not like being charged $12 daily for the newspaper.

“This was a very nice place to stay; the staff was very friendly and helpful but is prepared to pay an extra $12 a day for fax, newspaper, etc even though you don't use any of those facilities.”

• The rooms were nice.
• Too much renovation construction. Started early am.

“We had an excellent stay. Staff was very friendly, the food was good at the Legends Bar and Grill. Rooms were nice and comfortable. There was a lot of construction noise early in the morning however. That took away some of the attractiveness of the place. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Omni.”

“The welcome was great but after that we saw no one who asked anything. Valet was never there to take the car at night a service I expect at this place. Under construction so maybe better next time.”

• Lots of little things weren't right.

“The newly remodeled rooms, while very nice, are not as charming as they were before. There was no artwork on the walls (yet). The mattresses felt cheap. A dead bird was on the terrace when we arrived, and was never removed during our two night stay. The mini-bar wasn't working (everything in it was warm, almost hot). The shower temperature fluctuated. The low placement of the television and the high footboard on the bed made viewing difficult from bed. There's no upscale restaurant (one is scheduled to open before too long). The entire property was under renovation, so there was a lot of dirt, equipment, and temporary barriers. This used to be a nice resort, and I'm sure it will be once again, but right now, it falls short.”

• Our sheets were old.

“The place is beautiful. They don't have the buildings marked well though so it was hard to find your room. The bed had an odd angle to it and our feet were higher than our head. We had to keep calling room service because of things like not knowing where the coffee pot and hair dryer were. The sad thing, they didn't know either. They do offer covered parking and in AZ that is a great thing. They are not wheel chair accessible rooms so I watch a family have to carry Grandma to the room because of the steps and no other way to get her there. That really did not sit well with me.”

• Large rooms. Nice pool. Not just for golfers. Good gym. I felt safe and comfortable as a single woman in the hotel.
• Undergoing major renovation. On their final stages but there was some construction equipment and work. Still very nice.

• Large room nicely appointed, great towels beautiful pool area great view quiet.
• Parking set up feels a bit unfriendly must maneuver by walking around planters.

“My husband and I loved our stay at this resort despite construction issues. Very quiet! It felt like we were all by ourselves and we liked that very much. The parts that are remodeled are lovely.”

• They had reconstruction going on but it didn't bother us a lot.

• Large comfortable room, beautiful new pool, friendly staff.
• Hotel currently under construction, isolated location.

“This hotel will be undergoing renovation for the rest of this year, so the restaurant is small with a limited menu, and most of the grounds (aside from the golf course and one pool) are off-limits. Rooms are very attractive and comfortable, but we had to put the flat screen TV on top of a phone book in order to watch it from bed. Cable was broken in our room the first night we were there and cleaning staff did not replace a burnt-out light bulb during our stay - staff is very accommodating but, I think they were a bit distracted by the construction. The new pool is gorgeous and is a wonderful place to relax. Personally I would prefer to be a bit closer to the city and more extensive dining choices (mostly fast food in neighborhood, and a Cracker Barrel) but overall a very nice experience.”

• The staff was very friendly and outgoing. The renovations look great.
• Generally the ongoing renovations did not bother us except for the morning when they started jack hammering at 7:30 AM until after lunch.

“The staff is wonderful, very accommodating. The renovations done so far are beautiful. This resort is geared for golfers, but it would have been nice to have some sort of hiking trail other than the streets.”

• The mattress was old and bumpy and could not get a good rest.

“Rooms: large, nice bathroom Grounds: a mess, noisy, Staff: Unconcerned Cost: $4.oo for a cup of Starbucks coffee, Swimming pools-one new the other a mess. Basically not worth what we paid for it. I got ripped off. No one in their right mind would stay here unless they were there for golf. A horrible stay! Nothing was going on. This is not functioning resort at this time.”

“Construction does impact the quality of stay here. A few amenities were lacking in our room (hook for robe in shower, cheap toilet seat and cheap shower head--we assume the "real ones" are still on order). We also requested a good view, and instead, got a room by the pool and there was a fair amount of noise with young children there. But overall, a great facility.”

• Construction and only 1 restaurant to choose from. Could have waived the "Resort Fee" during construction.

“The hotel is in the middle of construction and our room was right next to where they were working. We were woken up at 6:15 everyday to the sound of trucks rolling by the rooms and workers talking and yelling.”

• Spacious layout of the facility and extremely friendly staff.
• Ongoing construction and remodeling limited the overall experience. Not really set up for smaller children but staff was very accommodating, anyway.

“Relaxed luxurious environment. Beautiful setting on the Tucson National golf course with the mountains in the background. A very pleasant getaway for mature and active adults. Spa facility was extensive but exercise facility was limited and geared for older people.”

• The rooms are large and the rooms and swimming pool are completely new.
• Hotel automatically charges a fee per day for gym, business center, etc., which I could not use. They prohibited my below 16 years daughter from the gym.

“While the large rooms and pool are completely new, many areas of the hotel and grounds are under construction. The hotel caters to golfers who are members and live nearby. There is only one restaurant. Very casual but thankfully the food is good and reasonably priced. The hotel automatically charges a fee per day whether or not you use the gym, business center, etc. We were not allowed to use the gym as my daughter was under 16 years of age.”

“This hotel was wonderful - we had a beautiful new room and access to the spa. The only negative is that they are still rehabbing the property so we woke up to the sounds of construction on Monday.”

“We should have been alerted to the fact that the facility had major construction. Our room seemed dirty (carpet, drapes etc.). They still charged us for resort fees even though most were inaccessible to us. Certainly no resort fees!”
