“I was traveling with my 3 boys alone (10,8 and 1)and this hotel was perfect for a quick stop over. They swam in the pool while I sat in the hot tub. Come breakfast the fresh fruit, waffles, cereal, hard boiled eggs and juice filled the boys up for the long ride to South Dakota. The service staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. I would recommend this hotel as for other travelers needing a comfortable and safe place to stay.”

• Nice, clean, comforatable hotel with a friendly staff. Convenient to the freeway exit.
• Not as close to the main dining areas as I would have liked.

• Upgrade quality from Marriott and full breakfast bar.
• Right next to interstate.

“New, clean and well-equipped, esp. The breakfast bar. Still, the room was quiet and I had to listen hard to hear traffic noise-it did not diminish our experience.”

• Very comfortable beds. I slept better than I do at home.
• Did not like the bathroom sink faucets-they seemed undersized for the sink, but that was a minor annoyance.

“Nice with comfortable beds. The rooms were quiet, with no road noise and no hallway noise even though there seemed to be a number of teens in hotel.”

• The bedding and towels were unusually luxurious.
• The spaces were kind of small (lobby, rooms, etc.).

“Overall, a great experience. The bedding and towel upgrades make the stay very comfortable and enjoyable.”

• They accommodated our needs.
• The freeway noise but the staff fixed it.

“The location was great except the freeway noise but the staff moved us to a room on the other side of the hotel. I didn't see any pay for view movies but I didn't really look that hard it may have had it. I only stayed one night so I didn't get much of a chance to use many of the amenities.”

• The pool/hot tub room.
• It was old.

“I expected more from a Fairfield motel and this was very disappointing as we were traveling to have a night for anniversary. I would not recommend this place to anyone.”

• The Pool area was nice.
• The Manager was terrible. Had HUGE issue at 1:30AM and had to change rooms.

“I had a terrible experience at this Hotel. I was awaken at 1:30AM in the morning to a horrid stench from the heat/vent. The front desk night person came to the room and could not come in for the smell. She moved me but the next morning when checking with the manager, she tried to explain it away as a cleaning chemical used to clean the coils and basically brushed me off. I later found out that that same room some 10-days before had someone complain of a urine odor coming from the same vent. I was absolutely astounded at the lack of professionalism of the Management staff. I will not stay in this hotel again!!”

• A very caring staff, every detail was well maintained. Excellent hotel at an even bettter price.
• At times the free breakfast was not well maintanied, it was very busy and the weekend person did not keep up.

“Quiet peaceful area just off of I-90 with easy access to the city. I thought the hotel was new and was told it was over 7 years old. Excellent mattresses. Large rooms with opening windows nice pool facility. Very detailed and caring staff everything was a cut above a 2 star hotel great place to stay.”

• Could only get one bed in the room

“We were with someone who had booked direct with the hotel, they had problems at check in with having only smoking rooms available with King size beds, but we managed to get a King nonsmoking with a cot. Manager was wonderful.”

• Only restaurant nearby is McDonalds. They have a cool pool.
• Not enough pillows. Rooms were tiny.

“To put a rollaway in a king room meant climbing over it to get in and out of the bathroom. Not cool. Also be sure to call for a double room 'cause you'll get a king size.”

• Got a king bed rather than two doubles

“Very nice, wish it had been closer to Yellowstone though. They said that whenever someone comes in they get a king bed. I needed a double. Made do with a roll away bed. Everything was great !!”

• Swimming pool was under repair.

“This hotel pretty much met our expectations for a 2 star although the rooms weren't as clean as I think they should have been.There should be some mechanism by which a bidder could accept or reject an acceptance by a hotel if amenities such as the swimming pool are under repair. We expected a swimming pool but were surprised and disappointed when we arrived and it was under repair.”
