• The beds, breakfast and wait staff.
• The hot tub was a little on the cool side.

“We liked the room and it's amenities (fridge & microwave). The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The beds were very comfortable.”

• The outdoor stone fireplace was awesome.
• The restaurant was too expensive.

“I have stayed at this hotel a number of times over the course of the past 13 years. It just keeps getting better and improving. I do miss the gift shop and the less expensive eating place. The staff has always been very helpful and pleasant. I'll always stay there when I'm in Big Sky.”

• The staff and restaurant were very good.
• Location was too far from Yellowstone Ntional Park, over 1 hour.

• Warm breakfast was very good.
• Room we stayed in was older part of lodge - smelled musty.

“Beautiful location in the mountains. Restaurants were wonderful. Both the bar & grill. And the fine dining restaurant. Warm breakfast every morning was great. Staff was accommodating. My allergies acted up first night because our room was in basement and musty smelling- they moved us up to second floor and it was fine. Rooms are older looking.”

• Fantastic complementary hot breakfast, peaceful location.
• There are no close restaurants that are open late.

“Very peaceful and scenic setting. The room I stayed in was very spacious. Fantastic hot breakfast served like a fancy hotel buffet. We enjoyed our stay and want to return to stay longer.”

• Exotic restaurant menu, friendly staff, well-appointed rooms.
• To get there from I-90, you have to drive along a very dangerous winding road. However, it is very close to Yellowstone.

“The hotel staff was very friendly and very willing to assist. Our room was well appointed with lots of pillows, an iPod dock, a full kitchen, two sinks, and a clean bathroom. Everything was fresh and tidy. The restaurant offered a top-notch menu, possibly the best in the entire state and the free breakfast was a buffet style with real hearty food. I would absolutely stay here again and I give it four stars.”

• People are very friendly. Room is clean, with microwave and fridge.
• No elevator.

“I highly recommend this hotel if you want to go to Yellowstone National Park as this is not too far away from the west entrance.”

• We arrived late and the hotel restaurant is closed but they managed to cook us good late dinner.
• Not much. Only the lobby going to the rooms has not much appeal.

“Very nice staff. Very Clean rooms. Nice surrounding and near to yellow Stone National Park. Down the road is a nice river where people are doing fly fishing.”

• Had a pub style restaurant as well as fine dining.
• Hot tub was not fully functional.

“Rooms had recently been upgraded. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave. Our room overlooked a nice outdoor courtyard with a waterfall. Bathrooms are tiny but the vanity is outside the bathroom.”

• AWFUL Food service...terrible!!

“Scenic location, too far removed from Yellowstone to warrant a claim of being 'nearby'. The Lodge, although roomy, was poorly staffed. The Dining Room/Pub had bad food, terrible delays, and obnoxious, discourteous staff. We waited 55 minutes for a burger and salad, and the Lasagna 'special' arrived cold, overpriced, and tasteless. The 'waitress' never checked on us, and when I mentioned this to the Head Cashier, she said it wasn't her concern, and walked away. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THAT PLACE.”

• we had all the facilities in the room like microwave oven , refrigirator. The hotel staff received us well, and helped us in finding directions. Also, they were very friendly.
• i think the hotel location is not that good. We felt scared after seeing the place. It is between valleys .

“well every thing is fine with the hotel. Hotel staff is very friendly. They helped us alot in finding the directions when we are in state of confusion. The room is neat, maintanance was good.”
