“Fine for business travelers - in no way a 4-star get-away. In the parking lot of a supermarket.” Jul 14, 2008 by
Kristi from Riverton, UT
“The Yarrow was a comfortable hotel. The front lobby was beautiful and the staff responded quickly to my needs.” Apr 22, 2008 by
Cory from Mendon, UT
“Room and bed were comfortable and fairly clean. Several staff problems and amenities like the hair dryer etc didn't work. This is sold as a 4 star, which it was probably top notch in the 80's but it is more like a moderate 2-3 star at best.” Nov 20, 2007 by
Tiffany from Vernal, UT
“We have stayed at nicer hotels for less.” Nov 19, 2007 by
Lonnie from Denver, CO
“Very convenient in the heart of park city. Staff was a bit untrained.” Nov 13, 2007 by
Diane from Orem, UT
“I sure wish they would have let people know on their website that they were in a major remodel. The lobby was torn up; there were no nice public spaces that I could find. The outer doors did not work with the key card properly and they were laying carpet in the hall way outside our room, with the accompanying glue smell. Since there was no carpet, we heard every service cart that went through the area and construction crew member talking, beginning at 6:00 am Saturday morning. So much for a leisurely weekend away!” Oct 10, 2007 by
Cynthia from Elko, NV
“The Yarrow was a sure thing for business tycoons. It was a sort of sorority house; because people were visiting from room to room. In the evening it was beautiful. You could walk out to a little patio and view the area. The mountain is areas were gorgeous! Staff is wonderful (although I had a brief encounter). The room was set up very nice and was very comfortable.” Sep 19, 2007 by
Rexalee from Salt Lake City, UT
“The people were nice the rooms clean and the surrounding area restful. They should not advertise a heated pool unless they are going to keep it heated to a comfortable degree.” Sep 14, 2007 by
Linda from Pocatello, ID
“Nice location. Restaurant was clean with friendly staff and very good food. Beds were comfortable and the bedding was very nice. I love the sheet on top of the comforter. Thanks for that. The room was over-looking the pool and was quiet and serene. We slept with the patio door open all night, the air was wonderful and we felt quite safe.” Aug 30, 2007 by
Korey from West Point, UT
“This was rated a 4 star hotel and should be rated 1 due to the rooms and the inside of hotel it was not what we accepted. I do not know if I would ever trust your star rating again.” Aug 29, 2007 by
Larry from Columbia, MO
“I found this location and facility to be very suitable for the purpose of my trip to park city.” Aug 28, 2007 by
Barbara from Kearns, UT
“I have stayed in your 4* rooms before and been very pleased. However, I was sorely disappointed in this room. The hotel carpet is in disrepair. The plumbing fixtures were not maintained well and overall the room was poorly kept. I expected to be pampered a little; instead, I could not wait to leave!” Aug 13, 2007 by
Lars from Eagle, CO
“This could be a great place to stay. However, the doors between adjoining rooms were paper thin and would not seal, allowing the quietest noise and even light to pass through to my room. It appears that all of the rooms that have passed through doors have this issue. I would never stay at this hotel again unless the pass through doors was greatly improved.” Jul 31, 2007 by
Spencer from Spanish Fork, UT
“Clean and livable. Nice place to stay.” Jul 11, 2007 by
Andy from Parker, CO
“We would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone, at any price.” Mar 20, 2007 by
David from Saline, MI
“Rooms were clean and well kept close location grocery and eateries. Easy access to ski resorts on the free shuttle line.” Jan 11, 2007 by
Tom from Apo, CA
“The hotel is in an excellent location of park city and in close proximity to restaurants, bars and grocery store. great place to stay if skiing any or all three of the ski resorts (park city, the canyons, deer valley) whether using your own vehicle or using the free city bus. hotel staff was a bit overwhelmed by amount of guests and initially assigned my family of five to a room with a single king size bed. Staff promptly reassigned us to the expected two queen studio as we had expected. Unfortunately, this change was not reflected in their database and we experienced two interruptions from guests being assigned to our room. Problem was corrected after paying a visit to the front desk. continental breakfast is not offered with room stay. Breakfast buffet available for 9.99.hotel is a good option if looking for convenient place to stay without having to pay the high prices for ski resorts but still have quick access tot he resorts.” Jul 17, 2006 by
Marlene from Roy, UT
“I like the cabin looking and the rustic looking and the friendly staff!!!! Keep up the smiles.” Mar 10, 2005 by
Chris J. from Portland, OR
“The Yarrow is conveniently located for families of skiers and snowboarders looking to stay on the main bus lines with easy access to the Park City area slopes. Rooms are average size with average, and dated, furnishings. The place really needs a remodel and some updated fixtures. One complaint that we had during our stay was that the hot water was busted for something upwards of six hours one day and we couldn't shower after we got back from the slopes. The staff didn't seem to care much when we complained about the inconvenience. The Yarrow should be rated three stars instead of four until they remodel and improve the cleanliness and service.” 3 of 4 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
