• The style of the room was neat.

• Great location right off freeway;.
• They let the breakfast dwindle prior to closing time.

“Generally this hotel was what we expected. It was clean and comfortable, and we'd stay there again. If you get there then, which we often do because we have three very small children, there is little left to choose from, plates were all gone, and in some cases, they were already putting some foods away. It is more sensible to, if saying the cafe is open until 10am, to keep it stocked and serviced until about 10:30 since most people, in my opinion, will interpret a 10am closing time to mean that if they get there by 10am, they'll be able to eat.”

“The hotel was a nice hotel for the price that we got. We enjoyed the pool and the free breakfast, when it was restocked properly and not busy. It was right off the highway which made travel easy and it was within walking distance of shopping and dining.”

• The beds, pillows and comforters were awesome.
• Late night noise of rooms next to us.

“I was only there from 7 pm until 9 am so there was no time to explore the rest of the hotel. I simply needed a room to stay in so I could have a medical procedure done the next morning. So once again no time to play or utilize the other thing that this hotel had to offer.”

• The breakfast.
• While we were at breakfast at 6:45 am, the night audit entered our room.

“My daughter was in our room while the rest of us went to breakfast. At 6:45 AM, the night auditor entered with her master key without knocking or announcing her entry and seemed very surprised my daughter was in there. She apologized, acted very nervous, and then offered her the paper (which was already delivered when we left at 6:30 AM). When I called the front desk to report this suspicious activity, they thanked me for bringing this to his attention. About 5 minutes later the front desk called back and said this night audit does have a master key, and that she was getting the nuts to move into another room. (We had no nuts upon our arrival?) Her story completely changed, why she didn't just ask my daughter about nuts. I am thankful; we did not have to find out the hard way if something dishonest was going to take place. Also, the Jacuzzi was so filthy, it looked like it was filled with floating scabs and skin debris. Really gross! Another negative, it is directly located on the on and off ramp of the busy freeway. Very noisy all night long.”

• My kids loved the pool and continental breakfast. Those were the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on.
• The room (#201) could have had at least 1 picture on the wall. It was a little bare.

“We were taking our son up to the MTC (Mission Training Center) in Provo We would have had to travel early in the morning to take him up. We had some fun moments which will have to last for the 2 years that he'll be gone. We loved being able to walk to the Mall and it was close to restaurants. I wish I would have peeked at what brand the mattresses were because they were amazing. My daughter slept well and she never sleeps well. She wants one in her room. It's almost unheard of to have a comfortable bed in a hotel room. The staff was great, the continental breakfast was out of this world and the stay was very enjoyable. Thanks again.”

“This was a very nice stay! Pool was kind of crowded due to weekend night and time of year. This hotel is very busy and would rely benefit from a larger area for the breakfast. The sitting area was fine but the serving area is way too small.”

• The location of the hotel was perfect! And the continental breakfast they offered was great for the price.
• The hotel did not have any exercise facility other the swimming pool.

“The location was perfect. (We were in Provo for my daughter's camp at BUY.) It was only few minutes away from the BUY campus and I felt safe staying at the hotel for several nights while my daughter stayed at the dorm.”

• Staff was not helpful or friendly, the only ice machine was broken, no towels in pool area.

“When I arrived at the hotel they told me I had to re-check in after my first two days were up, because they said I had two separate reservations. Well I asked them to please not have us move rooms, because we were there for several days. We got to our room where we found 1 King size bed for myself, my husband our 8 yr. old, 10 yr. old and our baby. I asked them at the front desk for a room with two beds, they told me they were full, and didn't have any available, so I asked for a roll away, but all were being used. My husband slept in the chair for the first two nights. Then on day three our keys did not work, and I was told it was because I had been checked out. Well I had to recheck in at this time. My niece was staying right across the hall and although she only needed one bed, I later found out that she had two. They treated me poorly. We actually shortened our vacation by one day, because we were not comfortable.”

• Nothing. The rooms are small as well as only having double beds and the stunk of cigarette smoke (even though they were non smoking).

“The normal price of this hotel was 129.00/per night and I am very glad I did not have to pay that or I would have been VERY UNHAPPY.”

“The room that we stayed in had a very smoky odor We contacted the front desk and requested a non smoking room and were told that the room that we were in was non smoking, however, there was an ashtray and matches in the room. They were unwilling to move us to another room and seemed to be dishonest about the room. We were disappointed as we have always had a good experience at a Fairfield Inn.”

• The price.
• Room reeked of cigarette smoke. Requested another room that was non-smoking. Denied, had to leave window open entire night, cold, noisy /traffic.

“Our room smelled of cigarettes, we requested a non-smoking room and were told there were none available. The reason it smelled so bad according to them is that is was a smoking room a few weeks before and they changed it to non-smoking. We had to leave the window wide open and still it reeked, it was very cold all night with the window open, the traffic noise and cold kept us awake all night... at 5:30 am. we had enough and got up and left! If it is a non-smoking room then the drapes, carpeting, lamps, etc. all need to be changed. Cigarette smell is impossible to erase without these changes. A refund would be appreciated! It was about as comfortable as camping out on the street.”
