• Great price and everything includes Internet and continental breakfast.
• King Suite only has a shower, no tub.

“Great staff, clean rooms, easy to get to off I-40. Internet is included. Breakfast is outstanding. No bathtub, just a large shower so if this is a negative, it is a small one.”

• Felt relief being clean,no smells and relaxing since.
• Shower turn on water you have to step in turn on while being sprayed on you,should be able set temp of water without being sprayed on.

• First room they put us in was unacceptable. 2nd was ok, but maid did not make our bed! Unacceptable.

“This hotel has gone downhill since I stayed there exactly a year ago. It previously was an Amerisuites hotel, now obviously under different management. Rooms not in good condition, they ran out of many breakfast items early, and the only maid service we had for 2 nights was taking out trash, new towels. Beds were not made. I complained when checking out, and the Manager simply said they were short staffed. I was very disappointed.”

• The breakfast was good. Lots of food, fresh eggs, fruits, waffles.
• The room was really bad.

“The breakfast in the hotel is the only good thing. The hotel doesn't have a pool, but an oversized tub, they call pool. Room was disgusting, shaggy carpet of undetermined color with stains thrown in for a nice contrast. Lots of mold in the bathroom. Room smelled like a cigar lounge. Staff was nice though.”

• The room was very old, wall paper falling off the wall. I kept hitting my shin on the bed frame. There was not hot water.

“Very disappointed in this hotel, very old, linens were stained, wall paper falling off the wall, furniture scratched up and looked like something at a yard sale. The big thing was there was no hot water in the morning, I was unable to shower.”

• Mimi, the desk clerk was extremely helpful & professional.
• Drains in sink & tub plugged, Waffles came out in shreds, Poor overall appearance of the place.

“Would not recommend this place for the price we paid. It needs more maintenance and the light bulbs should be upgraded. The kitchen had no utensils, 3 cups & 4 glasses only.”

“The smell of chlorine when you walk in isn't really appealing. Mattresses were uncomfortable with barely a mattress pad and sheet. Had disgusting stains showing on the sides. Breakfast buffet was great, convenient and plentiful.”

• Unclean, unattended to, disrepair, hanging on by a thread, filthy, moldy, rusty, unsafe.

“Seeing that AmeriSuites was affiliated with Hyatt, we had expectations for a semi-decent hotel. Having the kitchenette was attractive, but once we were in our room, we couldn't wait to leave. First off, we noticed a number of random colored stains all over the worn un-vacuumed carpet. After that, we started noticing all sorts of cleanliness issues: the A/C had multiple animal crackers in the vents; the TV remote had gunk all over it (didn't want to even touch it); there was a decent amount of mold throughout the bath/shower; the bathroom door appeared to be repaired with off-colored silly putty; there were numerous dead bugs in drawers; the tub was extremely slow to drain; there were some foul looking stains on the bedroom walls; the indoor pool and spa were cloudy and heavily chlorinated; attached to the main lobby, the pool access door wouldn't self-close all the way (child hazard); another personnel door by the spa was rusting and falling apart. We hoped that we just had a really bad room, so we requested another room. The friendly staff was quick to get us another room, but even they looked doubtful that the new one would be much better. Fortunately, the new room wasn't as disgusting as the first. Positives: the workers were friendly and the breakfast edible.”

• Lack of attentiveness of presentation of the facility, some staff apathetic.

“Extremely over priced and over rated for the condition of the facility. The bed was rock hard and uncomfortable. Linens had to be changed BEFORE I slept in the bed. Glasses and glass tray were visibly dirty; I put them in the hallway, and never got cleaned ones in return during my 5 day stay. DO NOT EVER use hotel phone for long distance. They charged $90.00 (NINETY dollars) for 20 minuets of phone usage. I was shocked and disgusted. The desk clerk at check out was extremely kind and helpful to me, and very apologetic for the overall stay and conditions of the hotel. I would NEVER recommend anyone using this hotel unless as a last resort.”

• The beds were older and in need of replacement. Hotel scheduled for remodel. It needs it.

• The staff was extremely helpful with locations of places, and they had coffee and hot chocolate 24 hours.
• The lights in the parking lot did not work, very dark!

“This hotel met all of my expectations; it is a great hotel for children of all ages. Having the extra sofa bed was great! I would stay there again and recommend the hotel!”

• Efficient, Great Value, Nice Staff, Good Price and Location.
• Needed some more meat at breakfast.

“This All Suite Hotel is in a great location in Flagstaff near restaurants and Wal-Mart. Wonderful staff, large efficient room with kitchen. Exercise room, pool, and buffet breakfast are included. I highly recommend this hotel to people passing through Flagstaff or visiting for skiing. It is also close to Northern Arizona University. Wonderful facility.”

• I loved the staff.
• The bed was not very comfortable; I could feel the springs in the mattress.

“I was very pleased with the location and the friendliness of the hotel staff. My room was quiet and conducive for a restful night's sleep! The rooms were clean and I was impressed with the kitchenette and utensils. I was a bit disappointed there were only 13 channels to choose from but other than that, I was happy.”

• Very spacious nicely configured room.
• A little run down.

“Great place for a long term stay with a large kitchenette and sitting area, as well as a spacious work area with wireless internet. Not luxurious, but practical. Great free buffet breakfast. No add on charges, didnt even want a credit card at check in. Only problem is decor and furnishings a little worn, but everything works as advertised by Amerisuites. All in all a great value for the money.”

“This hotel looks great when you walk into the lobby. However, once inside the room, it feels more like a yucca. The decorations are tacky and everything is covered in dilapidated Formica. It literally felt like a dorm room at college.”

• It is very convenient to have the kitchenette and the Continental breakfast when staying at a hotel.
• We have stayed before at Amerisuites, and have had problems (twice) with the water in the tub backing up.

“The rooms are spacious, and enjoy having a separate living and kitchen area. The Continental breakfast is a plus when trying to save some money, but we had a problem with the water in the tub backing up. The beds were not very comfortable either, but the hotel is located in a very convenient area of Flagstaff.”

• Antiseptic or pest control odor--very strong.

“The antiseptic/pest control odor was so strong it brought tears to my wife's eyes--all three days. We moved to another room but it wasn't much better. The carpets were dirty and sticky, and torn loose at the wall seams. The latch on the window was broken. The blanket had fecal and semen stains on it.”

The elevator was scary, dirty and squeaky. They did not hold a king bed for me as I requested, and for the price I would have expected a 2.5 star at least not a .5 star hole in the wall. I could have stayed at hotel 6 and had a nicer room.”

• The staffs were wonderful and extremely helpful.
• The sausage at breakfast was a little cold for my taste (but had a microwave!).

“The hotel was great! The staffs were extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooms were big and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was tasty - some "warm" items were a little too cooled off by the time I got there, but they had a microwave, and that solved my problem immediately. Everything was very clean and well tended. Great place for business, and I will go back with my family.”

• We were given a handicapped room because that was all that was available.

“This property could stand to update their beds, they were ok at best. The property was acceptable & given the fact that it's in a college town with classes due to start within days of our stay we were lucky to get it. I should also mention that the staff was great even with the added pressure of abundance of college student's parents that they had to deal with.”

“The lobby was dirty and had food, popcorn and debris on the floor. The carpeting in the room was disgustingly dirty to the point where you did not want to take your shoes off. The shower did not drain well. The "non-smoking" part of the hotel was smoky (I am not a smoker). The inside of the hotel was a minimal step above ghetto.”

“This hotel was great for a vacation with children. They had a indoor heated swimming pool and a free breakfast. My husband was expecting "free" to mean a continental breakfast with bagels and muffins; however, this hotel had homemade waffles, fruit, eggs, and sausage. I would stay there again.”
