Alex from Tolleson,AZ
“My stay was short, but it was very comfortable.” Nov 21, 2008 by
Jim from Redondo Beach,CA
“An OK place to explore the Sedona Valley area from. The pool needs to be redone. The included breakfast is OK. The rooms are OK. The place is just OK.” May 28, 2008 by
Carrie from Castro Valley, CA
“I do not recommend this inn at all. I had requested for a standard room with 2 queen size beds. But the staff gave me a king size standard room. I was traveling with my boy friend and sister, how can we stay in a bed, which is not what I asked for. The staff was not friendly and helpful at all. I will never go to that place again.” Apr 16, 2008 by
Dave from Urbandale, IA
“Nice clean hotel with a good continental breakfast.” Mar 21, 2008 by
Rochelle from Pleasant Garden, NC
“I had a great stay! The view was great, the staff was very helpful, knew all the local attractions. The free breakfast was awesome. I will be staying here again next year for sure!” Mar 16, 2008 by

“Excellent small hotel well located for us, which meant convenience to many hiking areas. Complimentary continental breakfasts were excellent.” Mar 4, 2008 by
James from Schaumburg, IL
“I reserved a room with 2 double bed. I arrived at 2:30pm to check-in. They said that there was only smoking room available for that kind of room. Later we ended up with a King size bed room for non smoker.” Feb 11, 2008 by
James from Raytown, MO
“Cold lobby to have breakfast in may be 40 degrees.” Jan 9, 2008 by
Joy from Las Vegas, NV
“We were made so welcome by the wonderful receptionist. She advised us where to eat and provided discount coupons. The rooms were spacious and clean. Altogether a wonderful stay in spite of the weather.” Jan 4, 2008 by
Shyam “We reported that one of the lights was not functioning properly, the issue was never addressed during our stay. The hotel is far from the downtown. Rest is all fine.” Jan 3, 2008 by
Patrick K. from Phoenix, AZ
“The price is due to the location. Not impressive, but it did the job. Continental breakfast weak. It wasn't bad, but it just wasn't good either.” Dec 18, 2007 by
Mark from Atlanta, GA
“I do not recommend staying here unless this motel's small price advantage is critically important. The motel is located in a reasonably convenient location near several scenic areas. Major tourist areas are a short drive away. The second floor was closed for much needed remodeling. The first floor rooms were extremely dated. The carpeting was stained in multiple areas and there were dirty smudges on the white closet doors. The rooms and towels smelled faintly of cigarette smoke. The bathroom was large and clean. There was a lot of debris in the pool. The included breakfast was lackluster but adequate. This motel did not compare favorably with other two star motels in the area. I would not stay here again.” Nov 18, 2007 by
Roger from Howell, MI
“Location was very handy to freeway, and Sedona attractions. Area was under construction, so was difficult to get in and out. Otherwise pleased with our stay.” Nov 15, 2007 by
Carol from Chatsworth, CA
“I provided proof to Danni at the front desk showing the additional day was pre paid and was assured I would not be billed. When I returned home I discovered I was billed for the additional day. I called immediately and was told there would be a credit issued and it has not happened. I was given a canned response from someone located overseas. I do not like businesses that outsource jobs to other countries for the sake of getting slave labor.” Nov 13, 2007 by
Leanna from Westfield, IN
“Not bad, staff was friendly; it was clean enough, just needs a little updating in the rooms.” Nov 12, 2007 by
Christy from Maricopa, AZ
“Good location, great free breakfast, quiet hotel. Beds a little hard. Pool and spa nice.” Nov 8, 2007 by
Ann from Nashville, NC
“Overall, it was much better than I expected for 2 stars. However, the breakfast room could stand to be much bigger, because it was always crowded. Whatever is causing the cigarette smell in the front lobby needs to go away. The first few days it wasn't there, but on Sunday the staff must be too lazy to step outside for a smoke.” Nov 1, 2007 by
Is from Murrieta, CA
“Nice hotel and close to everything.” Oct 14, 2007 by
Cheryl from Gilbert, AZ
“I would not go back to this hotel. It was too far out of town, the pool was dirty, and the spa was broken. The breakfast was good, but they ran out of food while I was there. We were very disappointed.” Oct 10, 2007 by
Kimberly from New Baltimore, MI
“This is not a hotel you want to spend time at. The rooms are old and need updating and they were not very clean. The spa was down for repairs and the pool looked dirty. I was not impressed; the price of this hotel is too high for what you get. The view of the red canyon rocks is the only thing I liked about this hotel.” Sep 13, 2007 by
Roberta from Scottsdale, AZ
“If the repairs would be done to the bathroom with some detail, it would be rated at a 2.5. Otherwise the breakfasts are very nicely done with great waffles and the rest of continental fare.” Aug 30, 2007 by
Mark from Farmington, NM
“Good location, clean and safe. Poor complimentary breakfast.” Aug 2, 2007 by
Ginger from Queen Creek, AZ
“I have stayed at the la Quinta Sedona before and I enjoy the great views, locations and pool/spa along with the reasonable price.” Aug 1, 2007 by
Paul from Scottsdale, AZ
“Hotel is 10-15 min away from main tourism area of Sedona; definitely need a car to get anywhere. Probably, it's only drawback but makes rates more attractive. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful; found me room hours before check-in time on a Saturday. Room was fairly large, and a/c worked very well on hot summer day. Bathroom needed some decorating attention (caulking around tub cracked and tub edges raised up). Attractively landscaped but small pool area. Large breakfast area with indoor/outdoor seating and fantastic hot waffle irons at your service. Nice view of red rock scenery from some rooms. Plenty of convenient parking. Outlet shopping mall is just across the street. Wireless internet (free) available from guest rooms as well as breakfast and lobby areas.” Jul 7, 2007 by
Germaine from Hayward, CA
“My stay at the hotel was fine until I received a phone call from the front desk personnel accusing me and my family for making too much noise in the room. I couldn't understand because my wife and kids were watching TV and ready to go to bed. The front desk personnels attitude was very rude and sarcastic and insisted that we were making too much noise and to quiet down. I told him if he had the correct room and he insisted that it was. My wife and I were too tired from our trip from the Grand Canyon to argue, but that alone really ruined our stay in Sedona because we were accused for something that we didn't do. Will report incident to Corporate because the front desk personnel painted a bad picture of La Quintana's customer service.” Apr 4, 2007 by
Angelo from Delmar, NY
“Adequate.” Apr 2, 2007 by
Jeff from Queen Creek, AZ
“Hotel was very clean but the bed and pillows were terribly uncomfortable. We didn't have enough towels and what towels we did have were very thin and rough. The continental breakfast was no frills, very basic. I doubt we would ever go back.” Mar 16, 2007 by
Jason from Glendale, AZ
“The free breakfast buffet was well kept, great selection of food and friendly staff.” Jan 2, 2007 by
Shannon from Anthem, AZ
“Family get away in Sedona, needed a nice - cost sensitive place that had a breakfast. Was satisfied with the facility and the breakfast, met our goals for the trip. They really need to get new door locks for the rooms as it was frustrating trying to get the room door open - needed to try minimally 5 times with the key in order to get the door open. Spoke with the front desk and they confirmed it is something they need to look in to.” Oct 20, 2006 by
Charles from Sierra Vista, AZ
“It was well worth staying their.” Aug 3, 2006 by
Shee C. from Newport News, VA
“Only the staff at the reception is not helpful at all. No means no, nothing to discuss about.” Jul 17, 2006 by
Bill from Gilbert, AZ
“Nice location, clean rooms, and the best continental breakfast I've ever had.” Jul 7, 2006 by
M A. from Munster, IN
“Convenient to interstate and shopping, nice pool, could be cleaner.” May 18, 2006 by
Cecelia from Morris, AL
“The hotel is located South of Sedona quite a far way from all the action. The staff were helpful and went out of their way to accommodate all of our needs. The hotel was overbooked but they went the extra mile and took the time to rebook us into non-smoking rooms and called me back while I was on the road. This kind of service is really appreciated. The rooms were lovely and cool when we arrived and the hotel was clean and pretty. I would definitely stay there again.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Apr 7, 2006 by

“The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was accommodating even find me a room in a busy time. The continental breakfast provided a great variety of items. I did not leave hungry from breakfast. I doubt that the other higher price hotels in the area would have done better.” Feb 14, 2006 by
Glo from Little Rock, AR
“I was traveling alone and was spending just a night there so the hotel met my needs. The hotel rooms are dated and could use a lift had I spent more time I would have selected another location. However the staff were most helpful and very pleasant. Considering the area "Sedona" I think the room met its cost.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.
