• Young lady working by herself in breakfast area did an excellent job.
• Trouble with air conditioner and no heat lamp in bathroom as well as no working exhaust fan in bathroom.

• The room is clean and quite comfortable.
• The staff is not helpful at all.

“I do not recommend this inn at all. I had requested for a standard room with 2 queen size beds. But the staff gave me a king size standard room. I was traveling with my boy friend and sister, how can we stay in a bed, which is not what I asked for. The staff was not friendly and helpful at all. I will never go to that place again.”

“I had a great stay! The view was great, the staff was very helpful, knew all the local attractions. The free breakfast was awesome. I will be staying here again next year for sure!”

“I reserved a room with 2 double bed. I arrived at 2:30pm to check-in. They said that there was only smoking room available for that kind of room. Later we ended up with a King size bed room for non smoker.”

• Receptionist made us so welcome.
• The roadwork's outside.

“We were made so welcome by the wonderful receptionist. She advised us where to eat and provided discount coupons. The rooms were spacious and clean. Altogether a wonderful stay in spite of the weather.”

• Reasonable location near some scenic view stops and chapel of the holy cross.
• Dirty and dated rooms, stained carpet, faint cigarette smoke smell.

“I do not recommend staying here unless this motel's small price advantage is critically important. The motel is located in a reasonably convenient location near several scenic areas. Major tourist areas are a short drive away. The second floor was closed for much needed remodeling. The first floor rooms were extremely dated. The carpeting was stained in multiple areas and there were dirty smudges on the white closet doors. The rooms and towels smelled faintly of cigarette smoke. The bathroom was large and clean. There was a lot of debris in the pool. The included breakfast was lackluster but adequate. This motel did not compare favorably with other two star motels in the area. I would not stay here again.”

• They over billed my credit card for an additional day.

“I provided proof to Danni at the front desk showing the additional day was pre paid and was assured I would not be billed. When I returned home I discovered I was billed for the additional day. I called immediately and was told there would be a credit issued and it has not happened. I was given a canned response from someone located overseas. I do not like businesses that outsource jobs to other countries for the sake of getting slave labor.”

• Clean and recently remolded, new bedspreads, nice view of red rocks from some rooms.
• On the last day, I noticed a strong odor of cigarettes from the main lobby. Why? Is the Sunday staff too lazy to walk outside to smoke?

“Overall, it was much better than I expected for 2 stars. However, the breakfast room could stand to be much bigger, because it was always crowded. Whatever is causing the cigarette smell in the front lobby needs to go away. The first few days it wasn't there, but on Sunday the staff must be too lazy to step outside for a smoke.”

“I would not go back to this hotel. It was too far out of town, the pool was dirty, and the spa was broken. The breakfast was good, but they ran out of food while I was there. We were very disappointed.”

• I loved the view from this location.
• The rooms looked dirty and need updating; furniture is old and dirty looking.

“This is not a hotel you want to spend time at. The rooms are old and need updating and they were not very clean. The spa was down for repairs and the pool looked dirty. I was not impressed; the price of this hotel is too high for what you get. The view of the red canyon rocks is the only thing I liked about this hotel.”

“If the repairs would be done to the bathroom with some detail, it would be rated at a 2.5. Otherwise the breakfasts are very nicely done with great waffles and the rest of continental fare.”

• Clean rooms, a/c worked great, nice breakfast room, nice pool area, and helpful desk staff.
• Location far away from central Sedona shopping/tourism sites.

“Hotel is 10-15 min away from main tourism area of Sedona; definitely need a car to get anywhere. Probably, it's only drawback but makes rates more attractive. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful; found me room hours before check-in time on a Saturday. Room was fairly large, and a/c worked very well on hot summer day. Bathroom needed some decorating attention (caulking around tub cracked and tub edges raised up). Attractively landscaped but small pool area. Large breakfast area with indoor/outdoor seating and fantastic hot waffle irons at your service. Nice view of red rock scenery from some rooms. Plenty of convenient parking. Outlet shopping mall is just across the street. Wireless internet (free) available from guest rooms as well as breakfast and lobby areas.”

• The location of the hotel was convenient and close to Sedonas key locations.
• The evening front desk personnel gave horrible customer service!

“My stay at the hotel was fine until I received a phone call from the front desk personnel accusing me and my family for making too much noise in the room. I couldn't understand because my wife and kids were watching TV and ready to go to bed. The front desk personnels attitude was very rude and sarcastic and insisted that we were making too much noise and to quiet down. I told him if he had the correct room and he insisted that it was. My wife and I were too tired from our trip from the Grand Canyon to argue, but that alone really ruined our stay in Sedona because we were accused for something that we didn't do. Will report incident to Corporate because the front desk personnel painted a bad picture of La Quintana's customer service.”

• Bed and pillows very uncomfortable, not enough towels.

“Hotel was very clean but the bed and pillows were terribly uncomfortable. We didn't have enough towels and what towels we did have were very thin and rough. The continental breakfast was no frills, very basic. I doubt we would ever go back.”

• Need to update door locks as they do not work properly.

“Family get away in Sedona, needed a nice - cost sensitive place that had a breakfast. Was satisfied with the facility and the breakfast, met our goals for the trip. They really need to get new door locks for the rooms as it was frustrating trying to get the room door open - needed to try minimally 5 times with the key in order to get the door open. Spoke with the front desk and they confirmed it is something they need to look in to.”

“The hotel is located South of Sedona quite a far way from all the action. The staff were helpful and went out of their way to accommodate all of our needs. The hotel was overbooked but they went the extra mile and took the time to rebook us into non-smoking rooms and called me back while I was on the road. This kind of service is really appreciated. The rooms were lovely and cool when we arrived and the hotel was clean and pretty. I would definitely stay there again.”

• The staff, the upkeep and the breakfast.
• Due to lack of rooms, I had to stay in a smoking room. I had severe allergies.

“The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was accommodating even find me a room in a busy time. The continental breakfast provided a great variety of items. I did not leave hungry from breakfast. I doubt that the other higher price hotels in the area would have done better.”

• The hotel was a bit dated.

“I was traveling alone and was spending just a night there so the hotel met my needs. The hotel rooms are dated and could use a lift had I spent more time I would have selected another location. However the staff were most helpful and very pleasant. Considering the area "Sedona" I think the room met its cost.”
