• Overall, a comfortable stay and a good value.
• Too far from the main attractions of Sedona.

• Beautiful hotel, beautiful setting, lots of pools and hot tubs.
• Charging for wireless internet - a lot - and the restaurant was crazy expensive.

“This hotel is beautiful and the setting is just great. My room had its own little balcony with two chairs. I don't think there are many rooms with bad views there and the setting is lovely. The restaurant was super expensive though - one appetizer and two glasses of wine cost $50. Also, I don't understand why such a beautiful place would try to charge you for wireless internet. Between the internet and the restaurant, I felt like they were trying to squeeze every dime out of me that they could. After seeing the restaurant prices, I changed my mind about asking how much a massage was at the spa.”

• Management gave us a breakfast to make up for us not getting any sleep due to noise.
• Room was noisy and substandard.

“The room seemed great until I tried to sleep and there was a strange noise of some type of machinery and a loud humming sound that never stopped all night long. My husband told me the next morning that he didn't sleep either because of the noise. I complained at checkout and they said we should have let them know. I said I didn't want to wake my husband and what were they going to do, move us at 1:30 in the morning. They didn't seem surprised by my complaint so I am sure they knew we were given a substandard room. I asked our friends how they slept and was told that not very well and found their rooms were substandard as well. The basic purpose of a hotel room is too sleep and it isn't worth it (even discounted) if you can't.”

• Peaceful, beautiful, well maintained.

“Rooms are great. Spa is excellent and reasonably price for services. Surrounding are very peaceful. Restaurant prices a bit on the high side. Overall a wonderful place to stay.”

• Location and view from room were wonderful.
• Difficulty in reaching housekeeping about lost item.

“Wonderful hotel that offers many amenities for the vacation traveler. Multiple pools sure to satisfy both children and adults. Facilities allow you to relax or be as active as you may choose. Fireplace in room can make for a romantic ambiance for couples.”

• I liked the location. The rooms were comfortable. Service was excellent.
• Although the room was comfortable, I thought that the room was about 4ft to short. for 2 queen beds, and a LCD TV.

“The hotel offered all the amenities of a four/five star resort unfortunately I did not use them. I called for extra towels, and received them very quickly. Staff was very professional.”

“Very pleasant upscale resort/hotel in a great area, just a short drive to the center of Sedona. And even closer to much great hiking. A grocery store and many restaurants, including a very good Chinese restaurant is nearby.”

“We found the Hilton to be a complete hotel. Tennis courts, swimming pools, everything one wanted, one thing you need to know is that it is on the outer edge of Oak Creek, and not in Sedona at all. Sedona is about 15 minutes away.”

• Beautiful pool, relaxing location.
• Charge for in-room internet access, but free in lobby.

“Hotel was A+ at Priceline cost. A bit removed from downtown Sedona and room was quite small, but pool facilities were great & had separate areas for adults and children. Nice restaurants on site and staff was helpful.”

• The rooms were beautiful and had nice amenities.
• It was about a 10-15 minute drive from Sedona.

“It had a couple of pools, with one family friendly pool in which I took my 8-month old, that had a nice shallow area for kids to play. The rooms were great, with kitchenette and fireplace and lovely little patio. Free internet terminals in the lobby were helpful.”

“The hotel sits outside Sedona (Oak Creek), short drive and made it quiet surrounding. Facility was clean and up to date. Fridge and microwave were available in the room. Friendly helpful staff.”

• Between 3 and 5 the main dining area is closed.

• Nice kitchen area. Suite was roomy and quiet.
• The drive in was quite difficult.

“Getting to the hotel was extremely challenging. Between the construction and steep mountain roads made this one not to make at night. The hotel staff came by twice before 10:30 am to see when we were checking out. We didn't check in until 10:00pm. I thought that was rude.”

• Separate family and adult pools; fireplace in room.
• Room was a bit small and a heavy rain leaked in the Patio Door.

“Lovely facility with friendly staff and very nice pools for either adults or family. Quiet and nice areas around facility for walking/jogging. The rooms were a bit crowded but nicely appointed. The spa looked great, but I was on business and did not have time to check out.”

• Close to Bell Rock hiking trail.
• One swimming pool was out of service. The quiet pool was then loaded with families and kids. Not enough space for everyone to lay.

• It has good facilities, nice rooms, sits close to a few shops. It is neat and clean and is pet friendly!
• I just thought it was sort of far from uptown and Downtown Sedona.

“Very good, comfortable hotel. It is also Pet-friendly. The shops and restaurants around that area is good also even thought the hotel is about 5 miles away from the uptown.”

“We stayed in a King room and added a roll away for the 14 yr old child. Room was very nice and comfortable, but it seemed there was too much furniture in it. Mini bar area and bathroom was very well thought out. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, and the main pool area was excellent. All in all, exceeded expectations and we will stay again in the future.”

• Friendly, comforting, beautiful, relaxing.
• The restaurant charged $17.00 for a meal that only had 4 pieces of shrimp and three dipping sauces!

“I was very pleased with the hotel, the room and the views. Very disappointed with the restaurant prices. When you pay a large sum for a room, the food should not be so high priced. I ordered a shrimp meal that cost $17.00 and all that was in it was three dipping sauces and 4 pieces of shrimp. I could have bought a pound of shrimp for that and made better tasting dips than what was included. I was still hungry but refused to order anything else from the restaurant. But again I was extremely pleased with everything else!”

“Very nice resort once I found it. It is not really in Sedona but in the village of Oak Creek. I came into Sedona, tired after a five hour drive and got stuck in road construction and could not find the hotel. Once I got settled, I loved the spa and restaurant. Unsupervised children, running and screaming around the pool sort of spoiled the beautiful tranquility of space, but overall, it's a beautiful place.”

• Maintenance was very prompt & efficient when told of problem.

“We stayed in a studio (tunnel or tube architecture). Don't bring much luggage and don't plan on stocking up a fridge if you have any qualms about hauling stuff up & down stairs. Many units are only accessible by barely light staircase and treacherous at night. We turned in, as we checked out, the roll of duct tape left on our toilet tank. The closet is largely taken up by broom, ironing board, vacuum & safe and partially inaccessible because of the nightstand. There is not much light on the patio and our unit had no view as it was below ground. Night skies are beautiful and starry with Sedona's low light ordinance. Timeshare staff is clueless & not familiar with the property. Hotel side staff is good.”

• Gorgeous location; beautiful pool area and dining patio; lots of birds to watch.
• Restaurant not up to resort quality; dirty silverware, host not polite about seating single diner, very long wait for my check afterward.

“Spectacular location with views of red rock formations just south of Sedona. Bird watchers will love the quail, humming birds, gold finches, and other birds that appear on patios and grounds. Extremely clean rooms.”

• The restaurant could have a better ambience, but the food was very good.

• Contemporary rooms/ suites/ spaciousness.
• Way out of Sedona; 10 miles outside, due to road construction about 40 min drive!

“Would highly recommend this hotel if it would not be for two Negatives: 1) 10 miles outside of Downtown Sedona (which I was not aware of - 40 min Drive due to major Road Construction). 2) High Quality Food at Breakfast; however, after ordering the cold buffet offered by the hotel at a reduced fee of $ 12. My husband got charged the full hot buffet price $18 since - as the waitress pointed out - he had smoked salmon which is kind of pricey ~ we felt this was absolutely unprofessional and would recommend to just remove the salmon from their buffet if this is their concern! We liked the beautifully appointed decorated rooms with separate bedroom, 2 Flat screen TV's, fireplace, kitchenette - very convenient. Although the resort does promote the Spa incl. basics like Gym facilities and adult swim pool you are not authorized to use them unless you buy an extra Day Pass which seemed to be very unethical as well. If a hotel is marketing to have a full lap pool and Gym it should be included and not be only available at an extra fee.”

• This hotel is great. I would recommend to others.
• The staff working in the restaurant was not attentive to any of the patrons. Would not recommend eating at the restaurant.

“I enjoyed my stay. I recommend using the spa. We had a couples message and it was very good. The spa services and the baths were very clean. We would stay at this resort again.”

• Scenery/location was wonderful. Golf course next door very convenient. Overall everything was what we expected.
• Being charged for internet and local phone calls.

• The room was very clean and had upgraded features, like granite countertops.

“We were very pleased with the quality of this resort. Our room was very tastefully decorated and very clean. We had a very private balcony to sit out on. There was a separate family pool area from an adult area. The room was one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. We wish we could have stayed another night.”

• Bath and fireplace grout chipped and falling. Mold on bath grout.

“Not in Sedona proper which we expected it to be. "Best avail" had no view of Sedona red rocks, view was service road/golf course. Mold on bathroom grout. Grout on bathtub chipped and falling while bathing. Grout on fireplace chipped and unattractive. Great in-room coffee. Great breakfast in restaurant.”

• Would have liked to have functional mini-fridge, noisy in room above hotel entrance.

“We enjoyed our stay here. The views were beautiful! While it's several miles from downtown Sedona, we enjoyed the break from the touristy feel of downtown and the easy access to Bell and Cathedral Rocks.”
