• Very convenient.

“This hotel is located on the campus of the Mayo Clinic. It is quiet, respectful and attractive. The landscaping around the hotel is lovely and the mountain views are really nice. It met all my needs.”

• Location, friendly staff, excellent breakfasts, pool.

“We choose to stay in Mariott hotels. This location was perfect for visiting Scottsdale and Phoenix. This hotel was almost adjacent to the Mayo Clinic and patients were very well received. They serve excellent breakfasts and lunches are available also. There is a lovely pool area and an indoor exercise facility.”

• Large and clean.
• The refrigerator did not work and all or food nearly spoiled.

“Very nice except for the problems with refrigerator. They brought us another one finally and it froze the food!”

• Great hotel for the price. Rooms were very nice. Beautiful views!
• Pool cool deck was coming up. It hurt our feet.

• Worst bed ever.

“Everything okay except for bed. The worst hotel bed ever and that includes a 50 cent a night flop in the 1960's. Get rid of the broken down over the hill lump.”

• Lack of soap, lotion and shampoo in the room.

• I liked the location as it was on the edge of the city.
• I had requested a king size bed but didn't get it but no big deal.

“I thought the courtyard Marriott was a very nice hotel. The rooms were immaculate and grounds were well-minted. The area the hotel is in is quiet and very safe. I wanted to be on the edge of the city and I had some great views. It is a bit of a drive to things for the vacationer which was okay with me but probably not everyone. The hotel is next door to the mayo clinic. Overall, my experience there was excellent.”

• Location to the Mayo Clinic is perfect.
• In room, Refrigerator could be bigger.

“For patients visiting the Mayo Clinic for medical care, this is the ideal hotel. The location is perfect for resting up between appointments/procedures. The food is very good and the staff is extremely attentive and efficient. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone thinking about receiving care at the Mayo Clinic.”

• Quiet, clean, nice firm beds, great coffee with vanilla and hazelnut creamers, exercise room.
• No hand and body lotion.

“I was attending a family wedding in Fountain Hills. I really did not want to pay resort hotel prices. This hotel worked out perfectly and I saved about $100 a night over the resorts.”

• The front desk clerk - Penny - was fantastic & energetic. She made me feel like we good buddies.
• The sheets were stained & the toilet lid (under the toilet seat) was unclean.

“Overall, the service was great. The location was close enough to Fountain Hills & close enough to Scottsdale - but far enough away from the hassle and bustle of the Scottsdale crowds. It was a very short stay - but pleasant anyway. For the price I paid I may rather would have stayed a bit closer to my events of the day and paid the price of the hotel closer to those events.”

“It appears that a primary source of patrons are patients at the Mayo Clinic, as such, the Courtyard Marriott Mayo clinic is very hospitable and helpful to those with special needs. The employees were courteous and the rooms and all amenities were clean and well maintained.”

• It is beautifully decorated and has the best of comfort in mattress and pillows.
• It is very far away from Phoenix and at that price and quality of hotel, a breakfast should have been provided.

“It is safe and quite a distance from all other civilization in Phoenix. If your needing to be close to the Mayo clinic it is great. For all other travelers in route it is a long ways from anything.”

• Location is out of the way.

“This hotel is newer, very clean, and has a very friendly and efficient staff. Nice pool area. Located in far east Scottsdale, it is next to the Mayo Clinic, and is a little out of the way for most activities unless you have business at the Mayo Clinic. There is a nice nature walk next to the property that is associated with the Clinic. Limited restaurant services in the hotel, but not much else nearby. We enjoyed our stay, and would recommend the hotel to friends and family.”

• The beds were incredibly soft. My lover and I spent a lot of time in bed.
• I wanted a King could not change at desk.

• View was very nice around the hotel. Room was very clean. Had a good breakfast bar.
• Nothing to do at the hotel. Whirlpool roped off. Small sitting area.

“The hotel did not meet my needs because the pool was the only possible entertainment available and without the Jacuzzi to warm up in first, the pool was too cold to swim in. Not a good location unless you're going to the Mayo clinic.”

• Serene setting, staff was wonderful, great.
• We like everything.

“This Courtyard was such a serene setting, the staff was wonderful and friendly. The grounds were lovely, the room was spacious with a balcony. The cafe was reasonable and tasty. We can't say enough nice things about the Courtyard staff. They were wonderful. It made our stay special.”

• The room was spacious, quiet, clean and the view was extraordinary.
• The only thing I could possibly think of was that it did not have a continental breakfast included in the price.

“Staying at the hotel was a wonderful experience. I really liked that the room was so quiet and the views so beautiful. The hotel is situated on the Mayo Clinic campus and nestled among some beautiful foothills in Scottsdale, Arizona. The restaurant was nicely appointed, the food delicious and the staff was very accommodating and gracious.”

• Great location, newly renovated, comfortable bed, clean, great breakfast, quiet location
• nothing except wanting a mirror in the main room.
