• Clean, well-arranged, comfortable, quiet, and a great price!

“This was my second stay with this hotel. I came back because the first stay was so wonderful! The room had the most comfortable king-sized bed I have ever slept on. The soft, brilliant-white sheets and down pillows are heavenly. I slept like a rock in this quiet hotel environment! That usually never happens! Excellent service, Bravo!”

“From check in to check out, this hotel was simply amazing! It had the most wonderful staff. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. The patio was definitely a plus, to take in some of that wonderful fresh air. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any of my friends and/or family. Overall it was an best experience, that should be shared with anyone and everyone!”

“This was not the nicest Marriot, but it was fine for what we needed. The thing with the beds is what really bothered me the most. It just really seemed as though they didn’t want to do the extra cleaning, so they didn’t want to give us a bigger room with 2 beds.”

• The bed was comfortable and I loved the shampoo/conditioner.

• It was clean and the service was great.
• I was charged $9.95 for a TV internet because I didn't push the right button that I couldn't find because I didn't know where the keyboard was.

“The hotel was all I expected for a Marriott. The service was good, the rooms were clean, the pool and excursive room were available at any time the front desk even opened it up early for my daughter at 4:30 AM so she could keep her schedule that day. The only thing I wish is the breakfast was included in the price of the room.”

• Our towels were dirty when we checked in! Housekeeping then "replaced" them with the same towels the next day.

“While the location and overall amenities were satisfactory, we had a less than satisfactory experience with housekeeping. Upon checking in, there was hair on the bathroom floor, and the row of bath towels had clearly been used and put back dirty (stained in one specific place, hand marks/etc.). We called down to the front desk and requested new towels, which came substantially later than our phone call. We took down the dirty towels and placed them on the bathroom floor (i.e. towels on floor means dirty/please wash). After spending the next day shopping & arriving back to our room, we found they had "cleaned" our room. Additionally, our washcloths had been replaced with ones that looked and smelled as though they had dusted the room (lemony pledge smell with dirt marks). We have never had this kind of experience in a hotel, I was really quite shocked. Especially for a Marriott. But I think it all boils down to the one housekeeper on staff, who seemed a little miffed the night we checked in. This experience makes me wary of staying at this particular Courtyard again. Marriott as a whole has always been a very trustworthy brand - but they had better watch out for the vindictive housekeeper on staff at this Mesa location.”

“Everything was great but I had to call the front desk to have them deal with our neighbors (high school kids) that were yelling and hollering. They called their room a couple of times but they never quieted them down to an acceptable level.”

• They forgot to change our bedding the first day.

“This hotel was clean, accessible to freeways, restaurants, businesses. The room was clean in every way, the staff was very helpful. The beds are comfortable, bedding feels clean, and pillows are soft. Feather, which is an extra nice feature. The grounds were clean, including the parking lot. We prefer to stay at Marriott¿s if at all possible.”

“We figured the continental breakfast was complimentary. My hubby took 1 small spoon of scrambled eggs, 1 sausage & 1 cup of coffee. (He's not big on breakfast.) He was charged $10.00. What a rip-off! Were also not happy w/how difficult it was to find a free TV station. Did not want the pay for games stations, movies stations, etc. Very limited choice of free TV.”

• The bed was so comfortable I wanted to take it home with me!
• They would not sell me a pillow to take home.

“This hotel was extremely clean, the service was excellent, and the beds and pillows were the most comfortable that I've ever slept on. The pool and exercise room were clean and kept up. They offered an excellent selection of pay per view movies. I will definitely stay at this hotel again and will strongly suggest it to family and friends.”

• We enjoyed our stay, the staff was wonderful and very accommodating
• Because it was an all non-smoking hotel, everyone went down to the pool to smoke, where I was with my children.

• The hotel room was very clean and with children with asthma and allergies that is such a relief when traveling.
• Actually we liked everything it was newly remodeled and very clean and nice.

“Very clean and great location for shopping and eating. Staff were courteous and helpful when asked for help with directions. Check in and out were fast and hazel free. Over all I'd say this was a great place to stay!”

“Excellent value for this hotel. I had reserved two rooms, and they made every effort to accommodate my request for adjoining, interconnecting rooms. Though they couldn't get me two rooms which interconnected, they were able to get me two room next to each other. The swimming pool/spa area was excellently maintained.”

“When we tried to check in, we were told that no non-smoking rooms were clean, even though it was nearly 4 pm and check-in time is 3 pm. When we were finally given a room, we were assured it was a room with 2 queen beds, but it turned out to have 2 double beds. We complained and after having been at the hotel for nearly 2 hours we were finally given a non-smoking room with 2 queen beds. Once all that trouble was over, the room was good - very clean and the beds were nice and comfortable.”

“We had ants all over our bathroom counter i.e. coffee pot, glassed etc, I called and they apologized and moved us, we had already unpacked, it was 10:30 pm, we had to switch rooms, they apologized, but something like a free breakfast or movie would not have been out of the question.”

• It was very clean, cool, and the pool was conveniently located. Beds were very comfortable.
• It would have been nice to have had a complimentary breakfast buffet. The restaurant buffet was a little pricey.

“The beds were so comfortable and felt more like home. Not your usual slab you get in most hotels. The location was quiet, off the main through fares, yet very convenient to all shopping and restaurants. The pool was conveniently located. The hotel campus was smaller and it had a feeling more like home. It is my favorite...but breakfast would be more economical to be eaten somewhere else. I missed a complimentary breakfast buffet.”

• Some staff pretty neurotic, heard others had problems with internet, poor weight room.

“Very presentable space in rooms and overall. Breakfast buffet reasonable price and decent each day. Pool not monitored well so out of control kids on weekends. Pool/hot tub closed at 11pm too early....lousy weight-exercise room just a few machines for cardio...that's it. Nice down-like bedding. Staff pretty friendly but a bit confused.”

• Still had to use credit card for check in even though didn¿t want phone activated.
