• Good location clean hotel.

“The hotel easy to find near shopping and restaurants. Clean rooms and facilities. We received a room behind the elevator, and when we complained they gave us the same room one floor higher with a worse view. Otherwise the price well worth the experience.”

• I liked the fitness room.
• There was nothing that I did not like about the hotel.

• I liked how the restaurants were nearby, bakings and the mall.
• The distance for gas and the service you have to pay just to turn the TV on.

• Difficult to see hotel sign when driving, located in congested area-short cut to Goldwater street can be confusing, southbound on Scottsdale

• Nice room and bed. Location was great. Covered and convenient parking.
• Desk clerk was surly and lacked interpersonal skills.

“The hotel itself was very nice. I called at 6am the day of our arrival and asked that a king smoking room be ready for us at noon. I was told that it would be no problem. When we arrived at 12:30pm, the desk clerk informed me that the room was not ready and I could have a double bed, or could come back after 3pm. Upon my insistence that I had been promised a king at noon, and after 15 minutes of argument with the clerk, we were given a room for handicapped with a king bed. Finally, they fulfilled my request after 4pm. I spoke to the manager on Monday morning, and was pleasantly surprised at her helpfulness, and she assured me that she would speak to the clerk and do any retraining necessary. We left the hotel satisfied.”

• I really liked the laundry service, especially the free detergent dryer sheets.
• I think they could have given a meal discount to those who stayed in the motel.

“I was very pleased with the location, room layout, and staff treatment. I especially enjoyed the computer hook up in the lobby where I could get on-line and read my e-mail and download my umpiring schedule for the tournament I was doing in Phoenix. I would liked to have had a more detailed receipt for my charges, other than the $50 room rate, I wondered what the other $100 in charges was for.”

“The hotel size is rather small, but the rooms are large enough & comfortable. The beds are fair, and tv's are old cathode ray tubes. It was very clean, and the staff was very friendly and supportive. There are resturant's nearby. U.S. Egg is located across Scottsdale Rd. A great breakfast location.”

• Attractive, clean, excellent location, nice staff.
• Breakfast buffet at $10.00 plus tax and tip seemed a bit pricey.

“I loved the express check in, and it was nice to have cookies at the check in and coffee in the lobby the next morning. The room was clean and quiet, staff was pleasant, especially the young man who took care of my checkout the next morning. Great location near Old Town, right across the street from Red Lobster and The Olive Garden. My only complaint is that I found the breakfast buffet rather pricey at ten dollars plus tax and tip for rather average food - it should be priced around seven dollars to be fair.”

• I liked the little things. This Hotel provided me every morning with complimentary coffee, a U.S.A. Today Newspaper, and a Wall street Journal.
• The only thing I did not like about this hotel was that the elevator was incredibly slow.

“Nice staff, but didn't inform me that my key would deactivate before my late checkout time. would have enjoyed complimentary breakfast or a fridge in the room. Lots of parking, but not for full size pick up trucks”

• Great service, and stunning rooms

“My family and I travel to Scottsdale once about every other year or so and this year we finally ended up staying at the Courtyard Marriott Scottsdale. I'm confident that we'll never stay anywhere else again. We went to the spa, art museum, hot air balloon ride, and went rafting. We were pretty shocked that even with doing all of these things we never had to travel more than a few minutes to get back to our hotel. Great stay!”

• No airport shuttle for guests (only for flight crew)

“Very nice and clean hotel located about 6 blocks south of the good clubs/bars in Scottsdale. The staff were very friendly and helpful. One neg was the lack of an airport shuttle for guests. (Their shuttle only picked up flight crews). Overall a very nice hotel and at a great price. I would definitely stay there again.”

“My family took a vacation to Scottsdale to enjoy the beauty of Arizona. We stayed at the Marriot Scottsdale hotel and it was one of the highlights of our trips. We enjoyed horseback riding and a hot air balloon ride, both of which were just a short distance from the hotel. My husband definitely enjoyed the hot tub after the horseback riding, and the kids enjoyed the heated pool after everything! I personally enjoyed the friendly staff and clean rooms, which are so difficult to find these days. A+ hotel!”

“Location is great, but it is on a busy road, no view. Very clean well maintained. Room service was terrible, they couldn't handle a simple order and the front desk staff was too inept to help me with a room change so what I first received was my problem. It was very noisy and rowdy at night with patrons yelling at all hours and no security to maintain the quiet.”

“I was surprising my wife with an anniversary getaway and told her to meet me at the Scottsdale Old Town Courtyard simply as a meeting spot. So she went to the hotel to find me but instead found that I had booked us a room for the weekend. So she went to the room thinking I would already be there but instead to find a gift certificate for the both of us to receive full body massages the next day at a nearby spa. That night we had a delightful dinner in the hotel restaurant, and then relaxed in the hot tub. This weekend was such a stress reliever from the real world, that we recommend all of our friends and family to stay here.”

“I've heard from many friends how beautiful and fun Old Town Scottsdale is so I planned a trip. The guest rooms are delightfully comfortable and it's great to relax in after an eventful day in Old Town Scottsdale. If you are planning a trip I'd be sure to go horseback riding or check out the Phoenix museum of Art. The hotel provides you with lists of entertainment and dining giving that it's hard to decide what you want to do. The staff at the hotel made my trip so carefree that I am planning a trip back for the fall!”

“I was greeted with a smile and very friendly staff. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The room was equipped with the things I needed and didn't have to call for this or that. The hotel was next to a very large mall and plenty of places to eat and sites to visit. I'm was very pleased with my stay and would highly recommend the hotel to my friends and family.”
