• Nice size rooms and comfortable beds
• Lots of construction not easily accessible, pool was big enough for 4 adults, cable was out for two days

“The room was pre-paid and I was charged extra $10 for parking because it was the 4th of July.”

• The staff was friendly. The hotel was clean.
• There was not laundry. The pool was small.

“The hotel was nicer than I have seen elsewhere. All staff was friendly, helpful, and very business like. It is hard to come by good customer service, so this was a good experience. The hotel was clean and well kept.”

• It was updated (or new?).
• Morning breakfast should start earlier for those with early flights.

“This hotel was very comfortable. I loved the fresh baked cookies in the lobby. My fiance and I were surprised that this hotel was only listed at 2 stars.”

• Location was excellent.
• Remodeling breakfast area.

“The rooms were large and comfortable with King-sized beds. The hotel has a limited number of rooms on each level making the rooms convenient for those who don't want to carry luggage or have difficulty walking or climbing stairs. The location is convenient to ASU and just off the 202 expressway. While difficult to approach from the south along Rural Rd/Scottsdale Rd it was very convenient from other directions.”

• The staff was friendly and very pleasant.
• The wireless internet worked intermittently and sometimes not at all.

“Although close to a major Phoenix area freeway which was convenient, getting out of the hotel parking lot and going the direction you would like to go was not. Also, the beds in our room were not very comfortable and sheets kept coming off the bed as they were worn and too small. As I had mentioned previously, the hi-speed internet (wireless) was clumsy to connect to - when you could connect - and was an unsecured network which would be ok if I didn't have to disconnect my firewall to connect to it in the first place. Needless to say, not convenient at all for a business traveler. One more thing - I was going to use the fitness room, but it had an open doorway to the hot tubs and lap pool area and was saturated with chlorine odor that I wasn't happy about breathing in.”

• Good location, economical, friendly staff, clean, had all the basic things to make it comfortable.
• The rooms are not kept chilled in between guests. They were hot upon arrival.

“This was a great hotel for the traveler on a budget. It was clean and the staff was friendly. Person at the front desk works full-time and he was especially courteous and helpful to guests. It had all the basic extras like a coffee pot in room and shuttle to the airport. Over all I would recommend the hotel.”

• Clean rooms, friendly front desk. Great 24hr airport transfer.
• Room a little tight on space in dressing restroom area.

“Clean and comfortable. Excellent front desk staff. Great hotel if you want to stay near airport with easy access.”

“Stayed there March 2005. Hotel and rooms were clean but older-style and some small carpet stains in the room. Several hot tubs and saunas in the hotel . Free breakfast was very nice. 24 hour Denny's on-site was convenient. The hotel staff were very nice and shuttle would take you anywhere in the area. Nice accommodations right on the outskirts of all of the action. Would definitely recommend.”
