• Big and beautiful room, very nice to relax in.
• Our room was more than half a mile away walking, would have been nice to get us a ride out, without us having to ask (it was too late once I found out.

• The king suite was a great size.
• It needs some updating, lots of mainenace staff around.

“The hotel was nice. The room was big and pleasant. The staff was very nice. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was large. The bathroom itself could use a little updating, but it appears that they may be in the process of updating rooms at the resort now. There is only one pool but it is fairly large. All in all it was a nice place to spend a few nights.”

• Timeshare, spacious condo like room with great amenities
• Parking can be remote from some rooms

“This is a timeshare complex. My basic room was spacious and had great amentities. The room was a little dated but clean and fresh. Great place if you want to play golf or just practice. The complex had a nice community feel and other guests treated me like a neighbor. All staff were freindly and gracious. Clearly the best value I have found - ever.”

• Quiet serene setting.
• The car park was too far from my particular room, had to call for a cart to ferry me back and forth when I had heavy bags.

“The suite was newly renovated in a modern and luxurious way. Lovely, comfortable bed. Full kitchen. I enjoyed my jacuzzi tub each night. They might consider vegetarians more when setting the restaurant menu.”

• Beautiful room and landscaping!

“We were greeted with a smile. Our accommodations were beyond what we expected. The room was very clean and roomy. The grounds were beautifully manicured. It was very quiet. We have already recommended the site to friends and would stay there again without hesitation.”

• Room size.
• Mosquito's and parking.

“The room was terrific - very large and perfect for kids. The pool was great too. The room did have mosquito's in it and I informed the front desk. They were responsive. Also the parking was very inconvenient for upper number buildings. this wasn't a problem for us, but definitely be a problem for those with mobility limitations.”

• It was quiet and spacious.

“The hotel was very nice and up to date other than the shower and toilet. There was limited parking so you do have to walk a distance so use their services when taking bags to your room. The pool was very nice and never crowded. Beautiful grounds and comfortable accommodations.”

• The bed was amazing and I enjoyed the in-room jacuzzi tub.
• The fixtures and decor were a little dated and the TV quality was poor.

“Spacious rooms and beautiful grounds. The bed had a wonderful memory - foam on it. The restaurant (we had breakfast) was average and did not compare to other four-star places I've been. Staff was all quite nice and very accommodating. The provisions for in-room coffee were minimal and they charged for extras. The bathroom was spacious and I appreciated the tub and shower, both.”

• The room had all the amenities, and the staff were very easy to deal with.
• The parking lot did not have enough spaces available for the number of suites in three buildings.

“The room service, the cleaning staff, the front office staff and the club house staff were all excellent and knowledgeable about their respective areas. The room was phenomenal and well beyond our expectations. I recommend this to any traveler or anyone looking for an extended stay facility.”

• Spacious room.
• Room not well maintained and staff not responsive.

“The hotel staff forgot to call us when they said they would. The cleaning service did not show up for 2 of the 4 days we were there. The hotel is not well maintained, there were obvious repairs needed. 3 light bulbs were also out in the room.”

“It is out in the middle of nowhere. They are in the middle of a really half-assed renovation, so be careful about getting one of the old rooms. The new rooms do have flat screens. Too bad they are so small you could put them on a wristband. Try to find someone with a golf cart because we had to walk 300 yards from the nearest parking spot to our room.”

• We arrived very late and were offered late checkout. The room had everything and bed was so comfortable. Great experience!

• The room was clean modern and beautiful.
• Security officer gave wrong directions to airport. Parking lot security officer seemed suspicious and was too interested where my room was located.

“Vanessa at front desk , not very friendly , young man was very nice, It was Christmas Eve and I thought a little more care should have been taken. Hotel area has poor and unsafe lighting. Not a good place for a woman alone.”

• The walk from the parking lot to the room was an issue.

• TempurPedic beds.
• TVs in the rooms are way too small. TVs are too small. A 13 inch in the bedroom and a bit larger one in the living area.

• Excellent bathtub Jacuzzi and comfortable bed.
• 10 minutes walk to room from parking lot.

“Essentially a hotel built around a golf course. Very popular with the 70 plus crowd. Very little in way of entertainment or facilities at the hotel. Not located next too much such as restaurants. The room was a nice kitchenette with a great bathroom and spa bathtub.”

• Unique and spacious room layout.
• Furniture and fixtures in room were very dated and needed repair.

“This resort is in a very nice area of Scottsdale and the room layouts are very spacious and interesting. However, the whole facility is very dated and rooms are in poor repair. Peeling wallpaper, well-worn and extremely dated furniture, and similar issues limited my enjoyment of this hotel. Another serious issue here is parking. The parking lots near the guest rooms are extremely small and difficult to navigate. I had trouble finding parking spots every night, and the hotel didn't seem that full.”

• The hotel was spacious and quite with private balcony. The bed was very comfortable and relaxing.
• The grout in the bathroom was a little dirty and the wallpaper in the bathroom was pieced together and pealing.

“This hotel was very nice and located on the golf course. There is little parking so expect to walk a little to get to you room. Although it is a nice walkway so it is not to bad and the exercise is good. The pool and Jacuzzi was nice, but needs more light at night. The room was very nice and we really enjoyed our stay. The bedroom has Therapedic mattresses so it was very comfortable. There was also a private balcony that was nice to sit on and relax in the evening. There is surround sound throughout the hotel room so you can listen to the music. There was a walking shower and Jacuzzi tub. All and all it was a nice stay and I would recommend it for anyone wanting to get away and relax.”

• Coffee pot didn't work, no hot water, AC blew directly on bed, no blankets.

“The room was beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed the spaciousness and amenities. The bed was absolutely wonderful. Except there was no hot water. I took a shower and in 20 minutes, never got above the faintest hint of warmth. The AC blew on my bed all night, so I went to find a blanket. There was none. I couldn't call the front desk because there was no instructions on using their phone. And the coffeepot didn't work. I had a mixed feeling about this stay. It was wonderful.”

• Older property, need to update & enlarge work out room.

“When this property was built it was clearly very upscale. At that time, I would have rated it a 4 star or resort. The only reason for not doing so now is that some aspects of the property are dated. These days, one becomes used to a pretty well equipped gym and this one was very small, given the size of the property. Having said that, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the accommodation was spacious, luxurious and outstandingly clean.”

• Very spacious, comfortable, clean room.
• Parking could be a problem.

“Loved the hotel, and would recommend and stay there again. My only complaint was the front desk service was very poor. I requested help on two occasions, once for more linen and next for help with the DVD player. The linens took an hour and the DVD player call was never taken care of. Overall great room, pool, comfort!”
