• Huge rooms.
• Liked everything.

“The rooms are very spacious and clean. Fabulous breakfast. Friendly staff. Easy check-in. I would stay at this hotel again no problem.”

“The suite had all of the basic necessities. The TV was in a slightly inconvenient location at the halfway point between the bedroom and living area so it couldn't be seen well from either. Only low speed internet came with the room. High speed was extra. The breakfast was nice. Options included waffles, sausage, potatoes, eggs as well as a nice assortment of cereal, yogurt, bagels, etc. For the money, I was very pleased. The staff was very helpful. The room was clean. The bed was comfy with nice assortment of pillows; of differing firmness. I'd stay here again.”

• The price was fair and the room was large.
• The bed was too hard and breakfast was too crowded.

“I have stayed at this hotel many times. Some rooms have a softer bed that I preferred. We were next to the stairs so we heard foot traffic at all hours. The breakfast area does not have enough seating. Having breakfast makes the price acceptable. Water is $4.00 per bottle in the rooms which is excessive. Internet was free but did not work well. Sorry for this review because I usually like Springhill suites.”

• Marriott is the best Springhill suite needs work.
• Hard to find hotel at night signage is small.

• Great breakfast, big lobby, lemonade and fruit available 24 hours. Nice size suites, quiet.
• Can't think of anything.

“This was a true 3-star hotel (not all of them are), friendly, good soundproofing, comfy mattress, good size suite, fruit, lemonade available in lobby at all times, lobby perfect for visiting, lots of tables, full breakfast including waffles and good coffee. Really a nice hotel.”

• Convenience to highways, breakfast was free.
• Pool was too small.

“In town for spring training. Arizona mills right across the street. Plenty of places to eat around the area. Go to the baseline sports bar up the street for a couple of beers and to catch the game. On my next visit to Tempe I would consider staying here a”

• I couldn¿t get more days!

“Great place, mall nearby, restaurants. I love the neighborhood. Just enough ruggedness from baseline rd mixed with asu college feel from priest rd. Not too pretensous, not too rough. I had a genuinely good time here. This and the super 8 phoenix airport hotel I¿d stay for an extended time if I could. Another place that feels, private and safe as well as was genuinely clean. My allergies didn¿t act up.”

• College athletes partied all night!

“We needed a place near Ikea - this was perfect. The rooms were clean and attractive, provided all the comforts we needed. We did not even take advantage of the pool and spa - too tired from shopping!”

“The room was kind of oddly shaped and small, but the services provided in the room were really good. The morning breakfast was also pretty good. For the price of one person at motel6, we stayed 2 people at this 3-star hotel - only makes me happy :).”

• The buffet breakfast was very nice.
• Room freshener sprayed in rooms, can't stand.

“I liked every thing about the motel. My wife is very sensitive to air freshener spays and the rooms all get sprayed with that stuff. I would say clean the rooms and don't try to cover up smells with the sprays. She gets bad migraine headaches from many smells as a lot of people do. She asked the staff not to spray our room everyday and they didn't but the smell is like cigarette smoke and clings to everything. That is the only complaint. Every thing else was great.”

“Breakfast staff are warm, friendly and super efficient. Always well stocked and clean. Great hotel except for the bad experience with the Springhill Suites driver. It dampened the otherwise perfect hotel stay.”

“Great hotel for a 2 star. It had all the amenities of more expensive hotels. Great for business travel with microwave, refrigerator, living room and desk. Close to freeway for easy access. The hotel was clean and the staff was very accommodating. I'd like to stay there again.”

“13 continued. Specifically, on March 2 I called the hotel and requested a non-smoking room with two beds. The guy from the hotel gave me a lot of attitude and said I should've booked directly with the hotel if I had specific requests. He did say he'd take my request, but I got the sense that he wasn't really doing that, and when I checked in, there was no record of the request, and I got the opposite of what I asked for.”

“Hotel was clean and staff members were friendly and helpful. Rooms were of good size with refrigerator and pull out couch. Cab ride to Mill (one of the Tempe night scenes) was about $10. Only stayed for one night, so I didn't check for a pool or workout room. Overall, not bad for a short stay.”
