• Clean, fully equipped kitchen, nice pool, and friendly staff.
• Only 2 computers in lobby and there was not limit for the use of time so I was never able to get use of the computer.

“If you are traveling for business or for pleasure this is a great place to stay. The hotel is set up great for the family or if you are alone. I would stay here anytime and recommend it to everyone.”

• Staff was concerned that I had read on the web there was an airport shuttle, so reimbursed me for taxi.
• No shuttle from airport.

“Various Phoenix hotel websites indicated there was an airport shuttle to this hotel. However, it was discontinued last year. When I told the staff I had seen it online (not on the hotel's own website) they offered to reimburse me for the taxi ride, which they did after I printed out a couple of examples (using their free internet in the lobby). Very friendly and helpful front desk staff.”

• Room was nice and big, I didn't feel cramped. It had a full kitchen. The bed was made nicely, inviting, clean.
• No Jacuzzi, but that's okay, we weren't there long.

“Very nice, clean, close to shopping & the freeway, full kitchen, large room, nice pool. I liked it very much. I'm not too big on fancy hotel; this was very comfortable and welcoming. I would stay an again in a heartbeat.”

• I was pleasantly surprised at the nicely appointed kitchen and complimentary breakfast selections!
• It was slightly difficult to locate the hotel, and was adjacent to a very high traffic area to a large mall and interstate.

“I was very pleased with my room and the fully appointed kitchen. It was a very nice and spacious room. I was also pleasantly surprised at the good selections available from the complimentary breakfast. The only detraction from my entire experience is that the hotel was not easily visible and was hard to negotiate because of traffic from busy mall and freeway exits.”

“Pretty good place. Neighborhood kind of stunk with day laborers waiting outside near the hotel. Close to Arizona Mills Mall, which could be a perk and Hwy 60.”

• Free Breakfast, nice common area and mini market on the premises.
• No home style popcorn at the mini mart (which means there was nothing that I didn't like).

“This is a great, inexpensive, conveniently located hotel with a friendly all night staff and a great warm breakfast that is included. Having a mini market at the front desk was very convenient.”

• It was clean and the rooms were great! Wonderful location as well. Easy to find.
• Could have used a dining table/chairs as part of the kitchenette.

“I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers. I was just the right size to feel comfortable in. Very clean and the rooms were great. We loved the kitchenette!”

• Convenient locale, big, ultra-clean room, great pool, lots of extras.
• Absolutely nothing to dislike with this hotel. Thumbs up across the board.

“Location is superior, near lots of food places. Easy to get just about anywhere. Staff is very considerate. Grounds are well-kept. Rooms are delightful. Plenty of surprises to make our stay most enjoyable.”

• The breakfast was good and plentiful, the staff was very nice, computers in lobby were great.
• The suites had only one king bed per room. I like two queens better.

“The hotel was very clean and the location for Tempe, Az was central to everything. It was also pet friendly, we travel frequently with our dog. The hotel had a nice grill area in the courtyard near the pool. Nice, if you plan to stay longer. All rooms were furnished with a small Kitchenette.”

• Free internet, free parking, and free breakfast were nice features.
• Room absolutely reeked. Non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms divided by sides of the hallway, rather than by floor.

“While this hotel claims to have been recently fully renovated, I think that only applied to the lobby and the bedding. Our room was outdated, the sofa sank badly in the middle, the bathroom floor could have used a good bleaching. Our room was called non-smoking, yet it reeked of smoke and there was an ashtray and matches in the room. They offered to move us to another room the following day, but by then, everything in our suitcases reeked of smoked, so there was no point. The stench of this room was enough to take your breath away.”

• The hotel had just been renovated and was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable.
• There was not anything I did not like.

“The hotel was in a good location, close to the freeway, shopping and restaurants. It was very clean and decorated beautifully. We would definitely stay there again.”

• Located too far from downtown and the worst traffic on earth.

• I like all the security at the entrance of the hotel.
• There were bugs (little) but we did not notice until we were checking out.

“It was nice, the I did not like that it had a sleeper sofa. The staff were very good and the rooms were clean. The kitchen was a lot more than I expected it was very nice with a stove, over, fridge and freezer, also a dishwasher.”

• The room was nice and large.
• Early in the morning when we left the security guard sleeping in the lobby with TV on as well as front desk person not seen.

“Everything was great except for what we wrote in number thirteen. Also, the second time we came down with luggage early in the morning when we left the front desk person was out in front of the building smoking. We would prefer not to be subject to second hand smoke when we walk out the front entrance of the building. That is also a little disconcerting to see the security person sleeping in the lobby.”

• There was no conditioner in the bathroom.

“Easy to locate. Clean facilities. Friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was included. The staff member who checked us in offered a room with two beds instead of the room we were originally booked in, which only had one bed and a pull out couch. It was a very pleasant stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel to travelers looking to stay in the Tempe area.”

• My room smelled of a smoky musk the whole time, same with a friend of mine.

“I loved the people at this hotel, and the friendly atmosphere for travelers. I liked the fact that they didn't nickel and dime you for the services provided, such as computer and printer usage in the lobby. Very, very handy for a guy like me. Leisure traveler that wanted to keep in touch with email and other online things. My only two problems were: 1. My room smelled pretty bad of smoke? possibly and was a non-smoking room (very noticeable when opening the door, but didn't notice after staying in the room a while). 2. The breakfast was not stocked well, 3 hour long complimentary breakfast, but if you weren't there in the very beginning, most of the food was either gone, or didn't get refilled very often. Also, simple things such as plates and forks were also missing. Seemed to have to ask the workers for half of my meal.”

• I think the room was ok. It wasn't bad for the price.
• The person at the desk wasn't very helpful. I had to drag it out of him where our room was.

“The receptionist wasn't very good at his job. He acted as if I was supposed to know how to get to my room. The lamps in the room couldn't be turned on and one was unplugged totally.”

• It was being renovated so there really was no lobby, but the renovation was looking beautiful I was disappointed that there was only 1 queen bed.

• Sofa bed mattress needed to be replaced.

“The room was like a mini apartment. The kitchen was stocked with all utensils, pots & pans, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, full-size refrigerator. The room and building were very clean and well appointed. The sofa bed, however, needed a new mattress. The pool was nice. There was an outside Ramada with picnic tables. Ask for a room away from the stairwells, it can become noisy. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.”

• For the price we had alot of room,a kitchen and a place to spread out.
• Couldn't find anything wrong except that they were remodeling the front part of the hotel

• It was very quaint and had a small kitchenette in it.
• They were constructing a new lobby so the front desk was in a small office and the continetal breakfast was at their sister hotel next door.

“It was in a good location but was under renovation which made checking in a bit of a problem. Also, because it was an extended stay hotel there was not room service and the breakfast was at another hotel. The room was nice and for the price I paid I can't really complain. ”

• paper thin walls - could hear everything in next room

“Couldn't beat it for what we paid. Large, clean rooms and common areas, great free breakfast and good location. Only bad thing was the walls seemed paper thin - could hear the neighbors snoring.
They were in the process of renovating their lobby so construction was going on and we had to walk next door to their sister hotel for breakfast which was no big deal.”
