• Good location, very good girl on check-in desk that night.
• Need a room with two beds, not a sleeper couch.

“Room were good. Hotel was a "fixed" up older motor hotel and it showed. Fresh paint does not cover the look and feel. I had to go back to the front desk three times to get a correct room. Had my 82 year father with us and the rooms were on the 3rd floor, and the elevator was broken.”

• Everyone was really nice and the hotel was great!!
• absolutely nothing! Our stay was perfect!

“Everyone at the hotel was wonderful! We were victims of the dreaded flight delay, so I was afraid we would lose our room, but when I called to explain, Hotel person was able to check me in over the phone so we didn't lose our room. He was great to us our whole stay. We had a one room suite on the 3rd floor with a full kitchen. The living area was perfect for two (any more and it would have been cramped) and included a pull out couch. The full kitchen had all the amenities of home, including a dishwasher (who wants to scrub dishes on their vacation?!). The pool area was clean and they even provided sun-warmed towels for our use. The common areas were nice, with a large LCD TV and two computers for guests' use. They also had some books and board games. The exercise room was clean and available 24 hours a day, with a treadmill, two bikes and weight bench. They also provided free laundry facilities. The continental breakfast was good, with one hot dish and a waffle maker in addition to the traditional bagels, toast, cereal, and fruit. There was also a little market at the front desk that had snacks and little microwaveable meals. Mon., Tue, Wed' day they offer a hot evening meal as well. We only ate the evening meal once, and though they were obviously not home cooked, the enchiladas still weren't bad. They also provided veggie sticks and dip, chips and salsa and a decent red wine to accompany the meal. I noticed at the beginning of our stay that there were families with children (all were well behaved), but toward the end of our stay it was mostly business people with long term stays (a month or more), but they were all pretty friendly too. This is a nonsmoking hotel, but they offer smoking areas outside the buildings. The location is great, right around the corner from the freeway and walking distance to the best mall ever (Arizona Mills Mall). My fiance and I could not have been happier with our stay, and plan to stay there again very soon!”

• Everything I needed I was able to find in that room.

“You get more than what you paid for. The hotel was very clean, and very well kept. The room was nicely laid out and the little kitchen had everything I needed to use for my baby's bottles and food. The bed was comfortable and the A/c worked very well, especially since it was 116 degrees outside. Our room was at 70 and I loved it. The staff was very proactive about anything we may need. I definitely recommend this hotel.”

• Derek went way out of his way for us, we traveled for 28 hrs straight w/ kids arrived in the middle of the night & let us stay early free!
• Housekeeping missed our room 2x and the fridge was not cold, & the vending mach. By the pool had expired pop in it.

“I would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff is very nice, clean, and we were able to have a great breakfast and dinner there as well.”

• Clean, fully equipped kitchen, nice pool, and friendly staff.
• Only 2 computers in lobby and there was not limit for the use of time so I was never able to get use of the computer.

“If you are traveling for business or for pleasure this is a great place to stay. The hotel is set up great for the family or if you are alone. I would stay here anytime and recommend it to everyone.”

• Staff was concerned that I had read on the web there was an airport shuttle, so reimbursed me for taxi.
• No shuttle from airport.

“Various Phoenix hotel websites indicated there was an airport shuttle to this hotel. However, it was discontinued last year. When I told the staff I had seen it online (not on the hotel's own website) they offered to reimburse me for the taxi ride, which they did after I printed out a couple of examples (using their free internet in the lobby). Very friendly and helpful front desk staff.”

• Room was nice and big, I didn't feel cramped. It had a full kitchen. The bed was made nicely, inviting, clean.
• No Jacuzzi, but that's okay, we weren't there long.

“Very nice, clean, close to shopping & the freeway, full kitchen, large room, nice pool. I liked it very much. I'm not too big on fancy hotel; this was very comfortable and welcoming. I would stay an again in a heartbeat.”

• I was pleasantly surprised at the nicely appointed kitchen and complimentary breakfast selections!
• It was slightly difficult to locate the hotel, and was adjacent to a very high traffic area to a large mall and interstate.

“I was very pleased with my room and the fully appointed kitchen. It was a very nice and spacious room. I was also pleasantly surprised at the good selections available from the complimentary breakfast. The only detraction from my entire experience is that the hotel was not easily visible and was hard to negotiate because of traffic from busy mall and freeway exits.”

• The breakfast was good and plentiful, the staff was very nice, computers in lobby were great.
• The suites had only one king bed per room. I like two queens better.

“The hotel was very clean and the location for Tempe, Az was central to everything. It was also pet friendly, we travel frequently with our dog. The hotel had a nice grill area in the courtyard near the pool. Nice, if you plan to stay longer. All rooms were furnished with a small Kitchenette.”

• Free internet, free parking, and free breakfast were nice features.
• Room absolutely reeked. Non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms divided by sides of the hallway, rather than by floor.

“While this hotel claims to have been recently fully renovated, I think that only applied to the lobby and the bedding. Our room was outdated, the sofa sank badly in the middle, the bathroom floor could have used a good bleaching. Our room was called non-smoking, yet it reeked of smoke and there was an ashtray and matches in the room. They offered to move us to another room the following day, but by then, everything in our suitcases reeked of smoked, so there was no point. The stench of this room was enough to take your breath away.”

• The hotel had just been renovated and was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable.
• There was not anything I did not like.

• I like all the security at the entrance of the hotel.
• There were bugs (little) but we did not notice until we were checking out.

“It was nice, the I did not like that it had a sleeper sofa. The staff were very good and the rooms were clean. The kitchen was a lot more than I expected it was very nice with a stove, over, fridge and freezer, also a dishwasher.”

• The room was nice and large.
• Early in the morning when we left the security guard sleeping in the lobby with TV on as well as front desk person not seen.

“Everything was great except for what we wrote in number thirteen. Also, the second time we came down with luggage early in the morning when we left the front desk person was out in front of the building smoking. We would prefer not to be subject to second hand smoke when we walk out the front entrance of the building. That is also a little disconcerting to see the security person sleeping in the lobby.”

• There was no conditioner in the bathroom.

“Easy to locate. Clean facilities. Friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was included. The staff member who checked us in offered a room with two beds instead of the room we were originally booked in, which only had one bed and a pull out couch. It was a very pleasant stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel to travelers looking to stay in the Tempe area.”
