• The pillows and down blanket was heavenly.
• The refrigerator did not work.

“The hotel was very nice and accommodating but when my best friend went to get ice because I cut my finger really bad (stitches), the ice machine was out of ice.”

• Some staff was extremely helpful.
• The manager on duty was very disrespectful, and discourteous.

“Room in extremely poor condition with tub apparatus broken and nearly causing and accidental fall due to missing and broken chair for the disabled to access tub/shower. Secondly, bedding was less than desirable and had odors, pillows were half pillows which accounted for poor sleeping as they were so flat and worn out.”

“Hotel was ok but the hot tub was not hot and didn't work. When telling the front desk person he was playing on the computer and made it feel like we were inconveniencing him.”

• Love the pool surrounded by citrus trees. Continental breakfast.
• Can't think of anything.

“This is the hotel I keep going to when I go up for my military drills. It has clean linen, shower, and a nice pool. Each room has a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. It is located 5 minutes from Mill Ave. a street where near the ASU campus that has clubs, breweries, restaurants, and shops.”

• Staff was very friendly, clean room, good location, great price.
• Room smelled a bit like someone had smoked in it before.

“I liked it very much, especially for the price. I will stay there again. The lady in the breakfast area was very friendly to us and so was the person who checked us in. The stay was very nice.”

• Really liked having microwave and fridge in the room.
• The ice machine closest to our room was out of order.

“We really enjoyed our stay. It was easy to find and conveniently located to local attractions. The kids especially liked the complimentary breakfast. It was clean, quiet, and more than I expected.”

• Not much.
• The carpet was dirty, the safety lock was broken, had to have it fixed.

“The beds were uncomfortable, the carpet had stains, and the safety lock was broken. It had to be fixed during our stay. I was tired and that was the last thing I wanted someone in my room fixing things.”

• The excellent continental breakfast choices.
• The entertainment center was pretty bash up, and the door closer was way too tight. It kept slamming on us.

“We went to Tempe to watch our beloved Angels play baseball for spring training, and I definitely loved the location of our hotel. Less that a mile from the ball fields, and around the corner from the freeway. The pool and hot tub were clean and large enough for several people. The continental breakfast was above average, mainly because of so many choices it had. I will always choose to stay at the Quality Inn when in Tempe, Arizona.”

• The workers were incredibly nice-helpful and beds were comfortable with good fridge, microwave and coffee maker.
• The carpet wasn't the cleanest.

“The workers are friendly and helpful. It's located right off the freeway, just minutes from the airport. The rooms include everything you need and have very comfortable beds and great water pressure in the shower. They also provide a wonderful continental breakfast. The rooms are all close to the pool/hot tub and office which makes everything convenient.”

• Room and bed was comfortable for the price paid, staff was helpful with food delivery and taxi arrangement.
• Got a wake up call for the airport shuttle that I did not order, and if you want a quieter room, request one on the interior (pool side).

“Airport shuttle pick up was convenient. Front desk was friendly and helpful in my arrangements to get to a hotel for a conference the next morning. The hotel is in a business area, so I disagree with a previous review saying that this hotel is in a "seedy" neighborhood. I was kind of worried about dinner, but the front desk gave me several flyers for restaurants that provided free delivery. Decent stay for the price paid.”

• Location to the area of the activities.
• Lacked cleanliness. Walk way was sticky. Ashtray not emptied and butts all over this area. Soda box next to this for the 3days we were there.

“It was 109 outside and the hotel room's AC was off when we checked in. Turned AC on & it barely provided circulation. Asked to move & given the room next door. The AC worked. The vanity sink did not work. Very slow to drain. Nasty. Bed was soft & lopsided. The other side was very hard. The recliner would not recline. We found screws on the floor. Hotel wanted to move us to a new room. We checked it out & it was full of left over furniture and no bed. Other than all of this it was marginally acceptable as a place to sleep.”

• First room was hot, dirty and sink was totally clogged.

“They charged me again for stay because I asked for different room. It was impossible to stay in hot room when outside was over 100F.”

• Excellent atmosphere - great location to other conference locations in the area!
• The hotel staff was reserved - not friendly - didn't make any extra effort to provide service - especially at the main/front desk.

“This hotel is located in an excellent location within walking distance to other major hotels in the area where conferences are held. Great for the business traveler! Comfortable atmosphere and very clean well kept facilities. Overall it was a great stay!”

• Pretty and clean. Nice pool area.
• Did not have restaurant or snack bar on site.

“Met all our expectations except for a restaurant. We were referred by friendly staff to the Sheraton hotel next door which had a restaurant. However, the meal and service at the Sheraton was disgusting. Staff friendly and shuttle to airport timely and courteous.”

• Close to freeway access, seemed like a safe neighborhood.
• No restaurant or lounge.

“Microwave in room did not work. Cleaning staff had trouble understanding that I did not need my room clean on one of the days (I was in all morning and afternoon) and they came back at 5:30pm to try and clean it. Overall it seemed like a lot of money for a one star place.”

• Not too many options of things to do in the hotel, but suitable for the price.

• Location was good for my job.
• TV had poor reception, Internet did not work in rooms.

“The rooms were a bit shabby. Half of the vending machines were out of order. The Internet did work in rooms as advertised, inconsistent housekeeping. Had to actually tell them to finish cleaning my room one night. After that they just piled towels and supplies in the room. The road home was very congested and added 15 minutes on average to get to the hotel. Was glad to move out of there at the end of my stay.”

• The hotel was clean, friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was kept well stocked until ending time and a good selection.
• Access off the freeway is tough during rush hour.

“I thought the fresh fruit offered in the lobby all day was a great incentive. I would stay at this hotel again.”
