• Loved this hotel. Very attractive and comfortable.

“This is a very nice place to stay. Nice and new and conveniently located to ASU and airport. Spacious room with corner couch is great for relaxing and watching the large screen TV. Would easily sleep 4 people. You get Hyatt quality bedding, linens and decor for a low price.”

• Great rooms, free breakfast, free transfer to/from airport and within local area.
• Small public area/restaurant, if you like to hang out in grand hotel lobbies/bars/restaurants then this hotel is not for you.

• The big TV and comfortable king size bed.
• Our room smelled like smoke even though the whole hotel is non-smoking.

“The place was very nice. I found the place very easily. It was close to all major freeways. The Continental breakfast was
OK nothing fancy but not bad. The only complaint was that our room smelled like someone smoked in it despite the fact that the entire hotel is non smoking. As long as the room did not smell I would totally stay here again.”

• The decor was really clean and modern, and the flat screen
  TV's were awesome.
• There is not anything within the immediate vicinity - no malls, shops, restaurants.

“The redone rooms are beautiful and pretty spacious. The beds are pretty comfortable as well. The rooms also include an incredible flat screen TV that was gigantic. The check in was very simple, and the staff was more than willing to help. They offered a continental breakfast, which was okay - nothing spectacular. The only real negative is that the elevators still showed their age and were incredibly slow, and the location is decent but if you don't have a car, there is nothing in the area.

• Location, cleanliness, frees in room WiFi Internet, pool, quality bed linens & mattress.
• No hot tub & the workout room only had 2 treadmills, an old stationary bike & an elliptical. No Freezer compartment in the fridge.

“This hotel was convenient to the Interstate, airport, and Tempe. The room was clean & accommodated up to 6 people with two bed & pull out sofa bed. HUGE TV, cold AC important in this area :) Nice pool & they also had a work out room although it only had two treadmills, an elliptical & an old stationary bike. Staff was friendly, but maids did not speak any English. Lack of a good on site gym & no hot tub as well as the mini fridge had no freezer compartment are really my only complaints. The room was quiet and clean, the pool refreshing & they even had free breakfast that included fresh fruit. Nice linens on the bed & pillow-top mattresses were nice too.”

• Each room has giant TV and the free breakfast had fresh fruit.
• No smoking in any room, so had to climb out on one-ft balcony. Scary!

“This hotel was easy to find but had strange front entrance that dumped us out in the lot of the hotel next door. The only thing wrong with our reception was the lobby overpoweringly scented with incense. The personnel were friendly and helpful, the room clean and spacious and the huge TV was a great treat after a day of staring at desert highway.”

• We loved the room set-up, with the sofa bed. The food options were great and we loved the Starbucks coffee.
• Nothing.

“This hotel was a great value. It was very contemporary. It met all of our needs as a family. It had plenty of room, with a king bed and a sofa sleeper. The pool and fitness room we great. And the free breakfast was a definite plus.”

• The room was a suite which includes a sofa sleeper, and refrigerator, and big screen TV.
• Location, I selected Tempe and I would consider this to be airport.

• The entire experience, the room, the location, all of it was great!
• Didn't really experience a bad point.

“The hotel was clean and attractive with a really great set up. The comforts in the room were beyond expectations. When I initially saw the room pictured on the hotel's website, I have to say that I was surprised that when I saw my room was exactly as it was pictured. Literally a dream come true.”

• Toilet is too close to the bathroom door.

• Decor and amenities blew us away!
• Wi-Fi signal in our room was so weak, it was useless.

“Very modern & stylish. Self check in and check out was a breeze. Great breakfast and convenient. Huge room, wonderful plugs placement and flat screen interface conveniently located above desk level. The lack of a wireless signal strong enough to be useful really was unacceptable with no wired backup. Had to go down to the lobby to get any work done.”

• Free parking.
• Must check in using a kiosk. Hospitality went down the drain with self service check in.

“This hotel advertises 42 inch wide screen TV's. My TV did not work. I notified management. Don't understand why they would put someone in a room where the TV doesn't work. Also, when you come in the door you are immediately notified to use the kiosk to check yourself into the hotel. I didn't expect such non-existent hospitality.”

• I liked this hotel very much.

• Friendly staff who seemed happy to serve. Offered free transportation to downtown Tempe and airport. Also liked room size.
• Incessant air traffic over head.

“I loved the room layout. The size of the rooms was greater than what I expected. The staff was very helpful and seemed happy to assist customers rather than obligated. We enjoyed the free transportation offered to downtown dining and to airport. Negatives: Air traffic over hotel was incessant. Continental Breakfast items ran out and were not replaced during stated time it was offered.”

• Location is right along the landing pattern, so the plane noise was constant.

• Cant think of a thing.

• Our room had 2 beds, plus a pull out couch, which made a 3rd bed, so nice!
• It's very close to the airport, but we never heard anything in our room, although the air traffic was noisy at the pool.

• The 42inch Plasma TV.
• The fire alarm went off Saturday Morning.

“Our experience at this hotel was wonderful. The room itself was laid out very nice with a sitting area with couches and a queen sized bed, both areas with direct view of the 42inch plasma TV. The decorations were also a nice touch. The showerhead was also at a good height which is a surprise when you're 6'6''. Overall we had a great time here.”

• The updated well planned rooms.
• The beds were rock hard.

“This is a lovely hotel. The rooms are very modern yet clean and comfortable. The beds were a bit hard but still passable. The hotel staff is VERY young and inexperienced but polite. The continental breakfast was excellent and filling. Overall this was an excellent hotel for the money.”

• Room had a lot of Style. A very unique flavor with out too much flare. Loved it.
• Lobby and Front entrance were under construction. Check in was a hassle.

“This was my first time staying at this line of hotels. Besides the lobby being under construction when I was there. Great experience. The general public areas were nicer than most in this hotel's rank. The room blew me away. Patterned-padded carpet, tweed? Sectional couch, leather autumn, 52" plasma TV, very nice, crisp style to the room. I'll definitely look for Amery suites in the future.”

• Unable to get some of the local channels.

“The hotel is very nice, the rooms are very roomy clean and has big nice screen TV. Good rooms to stay in with kids, and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast buffet, but has no hot tub which I love so I was a little disappointed, but overall a very nice place to stay.”
