• Non smoking facility.
• Problems with heat, not resolved in 2 days so finally changed rooms.

“Have been there before and has been a good experience. This time, problems with heat, technician looked at it and said all was well, but nothing was done. After 2 days with freezing weather, we finally changed rooms. They were accommodating - provided a portable heater and accommodated move to other room.”

• We loved the bedding in the room and the shampoo, etc. it was all upscale. We loved the restaurant and room service that was very nice.
• The hotel was older and needs some remodeling, but it was still quite nice.

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Ogden Marriott. It was centrally located, within walking distance of the Salomon center, with movies, restaurants and lots of entertainment. Though the hotel was older and could use some remodeling, it was very nice and clean. They had many amenities. I would definitely stay there again.”

• Nice Jacuzzi.
• Phone did not work beds very uncomfortable!

“Not a very affordable place to stay. I would consider it more of a 2 star or a 2.5 star hotel. Area was not very nice. Nice large Jacuzzi. Walls seemed to be pretty thin. I could hear children crying.”

• Nice bed with extra pillows, fridge in room, large room.
• Parking lot filled up at night, hard to find a space.

“Convenient to downtown, some rooms lack a nice view, parking lot used by non-hotel guests, no coffee in lobby in morning. No breakfast.”

• Bed sheets dirty, need more appliances.

“Overall, the hotel wasn't great, we had dirty bed sheets and the maid didn't make the bed in the morning. But, the hotel front desk people and luggage boy was helpful and friendly.”

• The beds were very comfortable with wonderful light down comforters and crisp sheets.
• Could have had a refrigerator.

• Beautiful room with luxurious accommodations.
• Located in a bad part of town, no scenery.

“It is a beautiful hotel with everything we needed--except good coffee, but we were in Utah, after all. It seemed to be isolated in a poor section of town. We just spent the night, so it was not a problem to us.”

• Attractive and well maintained lobby and check in.
• The bathroom door hit the toilet and would not open fully. Our room had two double beds and we would have preferred queen size.

• I liked that it is not just your typical hotel. I like that it is designed for higher clientele.
• I don't like that just because it is upscale, that there are not some amenities that are good for kids: microwaves, refrigerators.

“Everything was great except for: not being able to hook up the DVD player that I brought for my kids because of the special internet connections to the TV; and, it was clean, but there were some maintenance issues that could be addressed like chips in the bathroom door, some caulking in shower, but nothing too big.”

• This hotel had very nice accommodations with comfortable beds.
• The room was very hot and the surrounding area very noisy when we opened the window to get fresh air.

• The man who brought us a roll-away bed was really nice.
• I was worried she was being judgmental.

“A nice facility. Located in a somewhat run-down area of Ogden, but didn't feel unsafe. Near the freeway for easy access. A continental breakfast would have been nice.”

• The night staff was exceptional. Went above and beyond.
• The day staff were rude and unhelpful.

• The bed was extremely comfortable and I loved the amazing pillows. I've never slept so well in a long time.
• A complimentary continental breakfast would be nice and also the front desk should have access to headache medicine.

• Room was by some very noisy teenagers who stayed up all night.

• I liked the high quality. It felt posh.
• I didn't like the price of watching a movie. 13.00 a show.

“Very high quality and clean. The rooms were nice. I liked the exercise room and swimming pool. It would be nice if they did incorporate a continental breakfast or something in the morning. Overall we enjoyed this hotel very much and would like to stay there again.”

• Comfortable beds, late night swimming & hot tub.
• Room service ended at 11:00 pm.

“As I walked into the lobby I was greeted with a warm fire and comfortable furniture. The staff was helpful and found a room which fit my needs for the night...a king-size bed and romantic ambiance. The pool was clean, stocked with warm towels and the hot Jacuzzi was relaxing. The next morning we found a newspaper outside our door, and we relaxed watching cable TV and reading the paper. At our late check-out the desk clerk was courteous and quick. It was an A+ experience!”

• They need some sort of an airport shuttle.

• The hotel was convenient, and near lots of eating establishments.Very nice piece of property, located downtown in market district.
• I can not think of anything at this time.

“The Marriott Ogden has a friendly staff, eager to serve your needs. This hotel is located downtown Ogden, in the heart of the restaurant district. If planning on skiing while in Ogden, the hotel is only 15 miles from nearest ski resort. Great value for the money.”
