• The security at this hotel was lacking.

“While the hotel is clean, and the pool and surrounding areas very well kept, I was disappointed in the security at this hotel quite lacking. My daughter (21 years old) was propositioned in the hall outside our room, and the hotel staff was not very helpful in their response.”

• Bed! Showers! Great!

“OK - I did 2 hotels with Priceline. The first was Phoenix Airport Hilton and the other was the Fiesta Conference Center. Both had great locales, easy to find, close to restaurants and main drags, quiet, great beds and great Goose down comforters. Showers were powerful and well maintained and the Fiesta had free Internet that we hooked up our laptop. Great digs! Hopefully I would hook up with them again!”

• Toilet ran all night. No sleep for 3 days, management bad.

“Would never stay here again, no sleep for 3 days due to faulty toilet. Complained daily, never fixed and results no sleep for 3 nights. Management offered a free breakfast and 2 drinks as compensation for this experience, not acceptable. Hotel staff thought this was acceptable at a Hilton airport property.”

• Very convenient to airport. Staff was excellent. Went out of their way to take care of me.
• The hotel is in an out of the way location to me. But, they do provide easy transportation.

“The service was very good. Very friendly with complimentary bottled water. Front desk very pleasant and sincere. The room was spacious, clean, and had nice furnishings. On my return the shuttle driver made an extra trip just for me because I was late and missed the scheduled service.”

• Convenient location, beautiful lobby.
• Room was musty, needed remodeling. Not what I expected for a Hilton.

“This hotel needs to go non-smoking like many others have. I could smell smoke throughout the hallways and this added to the musty smell in the hotel. The room was very outdated and the toilet never stopped running.”

• Pool was closed.

“The Hilton was located close to Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport was conveniently located close to shopping and the Phoenix metro area. We enjoyed the mall near Mesa and ASU. Hilton staff and shuttle driver were very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again and the hotel was well worth.”

• We received an upgrade to a suite, it was a wonderful room.
• A little close to the airport runway but the grounds are beautiful.

“The only issue with the room was the bathroom fixtures had not been updated recently but the room was quite luxurious and the linens were outstanding. The interior enclosed courtyard with pool and hot tub is nice, you would never know you were at the end of the runway if it weren't for the airplanes.”

• Restaurant and room service staff was nice.
• Front desk head games.

“Had an issue with first room, it only had one bed. Told staff I was given wrong room very politely and they put me in the correct room, as far away from the front of the hotel as possible. Very large hotel took several minutes of walking to reach correct room. Hotel was not very full at all. I guess if you don't want to be in the dog house sleep on the floor. Restaurant is very good and reasonable.”

• No resturaunts within walking distance, except for hotel.

“Staff are helpful and friendly. Hotel very clean and well maintained. Pool location in center off hotel seemed to be in shade most of the time. Fitness center excellent for this hotel, clean, maintained, equipped, towels and fresh water available. Highly recommend for business traveler.”

• My car was broken into in the parking lot.

“The staff was great with us having to stay longer to get repairs done to my car. But I had stayed in a Hilton in Tucson the week before and the room in Tucson was the best. Where I was expecting the same or close I was very disappointed by the room.”

“We were pleased with this accommodation. We needed to be near the airport and while the hotel was near that facility it was as quiet as could be expected. Grounds, pool, room were all pleasing.”

• Ease of checkout.
• Attitude of check-in personnel; size, layout of bathroom was uncomfortable - small, door was too near commode, smell of cigarette smoke in hallways.

“Considering it a 4 or 5 star hotel, I was not impressed with the rooms; linen did not fit bed, pillows were of poor quality. Bathroom layout was ridiculous with the door opening right against the toilet.”

“Good, but apparently old, hotel near the airport - which is why many business travelers most likely choose to stay there. Room was small and AC did not lower the temp below about 70 degrees. Too warm for us North Idaho folks! Great staff!”

• Attractive decor.
• Carpet in halls need cleaning. I wish the entire hotel was non smoking.

“Pleasant decor. Comfortable beds and lovely bedding. Halls in smoking section smell awful. Our first nonsmoking room smelled smoky/musty. They moved us to another room. That room was fine except the air conditioning didn't work. It wasn't too warm so it wasn't a problem. We reported it when we left. The pool area is very tropical and relaxing in an inner courtyard. The rooms overlooking the pool are fun.”

• The rooms were lovely
• Drunks/fights in hallway from midnight to 5am

“The hotel was not handicap friendly, was given a room that I had to leave my wheelchair outside of the bathroom and hop in. Fights and drunk people knocking on everyones door because they did not know what room was there. Managment kept coming to assist, but only ended up with 1 1/2 hours sleep before a championship for our daughters.”

• The Hilton could not have been more convenient for us. Best of all, we could return our airport car rental at the hotel!

“The Hilton is efficient and friendly. For our purposes, getting a good night's sleep and early access to our flight out in the morning, the Hilton was perfect. The driver was even funny "Do you want me to drive safe or fast?" We were thrilled that our Hertz airport rental could be returned directly to the hotel. This saved us a lot of time in the morning. Highly recommended.”

• Great beds!
• We liked everything.

“Very nice hotel with comfortable, plush beds and bedding. We were able to park there while we took our trip and stayed one night on our return. They were extremely nice, even offering us a 1:00 PM checkout the next day, which was great because we were exhausted from our travel.”

• The bed was soft that's about it.
• $10 fee for internet, no continental breakfast way over priced.

“I would definitely not recommend this hotel to the business traveler. They charge $10 a day for internet usage, there is no continental breakfast, the rooms smell like someone's feet, and the location leaves a lot to be desired. This hotel put me in the mind of an old motel 6 that has been remodeled. The restaurants were average at best and the service left a lot to be desired. I actually had to get up and walk to the drink machine to refill my coke and the staff never said a word. Way over priced just because it has the Hilton name. I would not recommend this hotel at all.”

• It was a real nice hotel, and the staff was very friendly.
• The pool was outside and it was 115 degrees, and the maid just walked in the room and the checkout time was not until 12:00.

“Great place to stay, convenient to the airport and the major Phoenix arteries. Everything about the Airport Hilton was very nice and in general excellent, but I was somewhat surprised that they charge $10 a day for internet access.”

• The food is good.
• The room smells, the door doesn't open easily. Everything is just old and dingy.

“The whole building is old and dingy. It should not have the Hilton label. It's more like a Motel 6 or Super 8. We can hear everything from the hall way and upstairs. We could not sleep at all before our 6:40 morning flight to New York.”

• The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
• There is nothing to dislike about my stay.

“The Hilton was friendly and helpful with checking in at the front desk. The staff also assisted us in reaching the airport and returning from our trip. The hotel provided secure parking for our vehicle while we travelled. I would recommend the Hilton to everyone.”

• The minute I walked in the door I was given a bottle of water as it was a very hot day. I appreciated the smoothest of checking in.
• No comment.

“I felt very lucky to have stayed at the Hilton. The room was lovely and quiet. I had room service which was prompt and of excellent flavor. I wish I could have staying a few more nights.”

• The bed was awful. Most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in.

“Everything was great except for the bed and the shower. The bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. The latch to pull up to get the shower to go on would only go half way so the show part was only half on. It is a convenient location close to freeways.”
