• The staff here are excellent.

“This is the best hotel I have stayed in a long time. The staff here, everyone of them is excellent, friendly and professional. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean.”

• The location.
• The elevator hardly ever worked and they never answered their phone.

“Their rooms were nice but their elevator wouldn't work, and they never answered their phone when I called for an airport shuttle. I stay at this hotel because of their proximity to the airport and their free shuttle and when I called for a shuttle, the phone just rang and rang. Then I called my husband on his cell phone and he tried to call the front desk from our room and it just rang and rang also. My husband ended up going down to the front desk to ask them to please come and pick me up at the airport. I have never had a hotel offer a free service and then have it with so many problems. I won't ever stay there again.”

• The hotel breakfast was great. By far the best continental breakfast I have ever had.

“Right when I walked into the lobby I knew we had selected the right hotel for us. It was clean and very well lit. The staff was very nice and was able to answer all my questions. The breakfast was GREAT! Way more than you would expect for a continental breakfast. The pool was closed though. I have recommended it to family.”

• Bathroom door stuck really badly.

“Over all very pleased. Would stay again for sure. The only negative is there aren't many local eating establishments. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Room was clean and nice. Great visit!”

• Easy to find, and close to a mall.
• Power went out in room, and bad location.

“The hotel was clean for the most part, and the employees were help full. But power went out in the room while we were getting ready in the morning for close to a half an hour. It is not located in a very nice spot and the parking is so small and unlighted I was worried about my car being broken into during the night. For the 94 dollars I spent it should have been a nicer hotel.”

• Had everything I needed for trip gym, pool, breakfast etc. located for good access to city.
• Parking lot lights shown into room, could adjust or change to more downward directed lighting.

“Staff was great and helped resolve any issues I had. Would stay there anytime!”

• Don't allow parking for airport.

“The reason for getting an airport facility was to leave the car & use their shuttle. By not being able to leave the car, negated any benefit of location. Could have stayed at relatives across town and drove to airport parking. Other airport hotels allow leaving the car. We'll avoid Laquinta at all cost in the future.”

• First night hot tub did not work.

“If you are looking for a slice of heaven you have found here with there staff warm and caring. a delight to stay. Breakfast is great. You can go wrong staying at this hotel.”

• Okay cleanliness.
• No pool, poor fitness facilities, outdated old.

“The pool was closed due to "it being painted" but the pool was full. Other guests that had been there for 3 weeks said it has been closed the entire time and nothing has happened. We selected our hotel based on pool and fitness facilities. Fitness facilities included one outdated treadmill and broken elliptical.”

• The price was decent, rooms were clean.
• A little run down, pool was broken.

“For our purposes, La Quinta Inn was good. The continental breakfast was like what you would find at any hotel. Our room was clean, but a little run down (broken base board, missing doorknob on the closet). The "fitness center" consisted of a treadmill and a stationary bike. The staff was friendly. We only stayed one night, so I can't say how the maid service is. Overall, I would say it was good.”

• Nice clean room.
• The beds are doubles rather than queens. The first airport shuttle wasn't until 5:00 a.m. so had to take a taxi.

“This is a nice clean hotel that is in pretty good condition and is in a convenient location by the airport. However, the beds are doubles rather than queen size and the first shuttle to the airport is 5:00 a.m. and not early enough if you have a 6:00 flight out.”

• It was fairly clean.
• The pillows were absolutely horrible. Shabby bedspreads.

“I will not stay here again. It just looks worn and shabby. The feather pillows poked me all night and were flat and very uncomfortable. The TV didn't want to focus. This place got the job done but just barely. I will stay elsewhere next time even if it costs more.”

• The convenience of check in and check out.
• Only one person on the day shift spoke and understood English.

“The hotel was great for what we needed. Had a hard time finding more than one person who spoke and understood English though. Had a compact exercise room, but had the machines I needed. Inviting lobby and noise was at a minimum even with a whole young cheerleading squad there.”

• There wasn't anything I didn't like.

“The hotel staff was excellent and the room was very clean. I also liked that the room was quite large for a hotel of this quality rating. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet.”

• Room basically clean but had a musty/moldy odor.

• Cleanliness of the hotel, staff very helpful giving us a map of SLC - where to eat and what to do.
• Too isolated from the rest of the city. no restaurants around the hotel.

• The staff at the hotel was very friendly and quick to get us the baby bed and extra roll out we requested for our second room.
• The surrounding area is much like a business park and does not allow one to travel very far on foot because of the lack of sidewalks.

• This hotel was very secluded and we wanted to just spend time together relaxing, swimming and being left alone.
• It was great, other than I would have liked a queen bed instead of 2 doubles.

“Overall, this hotel was great. We have stayed at one of these before, and we are very satisfied. We liked the price that we were able to get. It helped us to be able to do more things, and enjoy our time together more. Sometimes, you just need to get away, and most of the time, you can't afford it. Thanks so much.”

• I liked the fact I could have adequate transportation from downtown SLC and shuttle to airport plus breakfast.
• Dull room colors.

“My stay was short but pleasant. Would have liked muffins on the breakfast menu but there was a good variety to eat. Waffle recipe not too good. Will recommend to others for convenience in relation to downtown SLC, and airport. Great for a traveler who doesn't need a car.”

• we used the airport pick up service, the pool and hot tub and had a very good breakfast

“I have stayed here several times and it has always been nice. I used price line before and got this room and arrived to find that I was given a smoking room. the smoking room was clean and the smell was not that bad would suggest that you call ahead to get a non smoking room if that's your preference.”

“This hotel is a good, clean, middle of the scale motel close to the Salt Lake City Airport, with shuttle service and amenities usually found for this scale of motel. The front desk staff was helpful and knowledgeable.”

• It was extremely our the most relaxing hotel event . but the bonus was the Breakfast.
