• The coffee in the room was delicious.
• The building looks worn, the paint scheme super gaudy.

“The room was great, divided between bedroom and sitting room.Bathroom doesn't have sink or mirror though which was silly, they were near the bed. But it was nice to stay there.”

• Luxurious, reasonable distance to Diamondbacks game
• Tight roads within property, hilly, a bit difficult to walk around property

“Very nice resort property, conveniently located approx. 10 miles away from the Arizona Diamondbacks ballpark on North 7th Street (same road that the ballpark is on). Rooms were nice suites. Multiple swimming pools around the property. On-property shuttle will take visitors around the property and save on the walking which is nice. Multiple restaurants on the property, Different Pointe of View restaurant (at the top of the property) should have a wonderful view of the city (though we didn't visit the restaurant).”

• There were a variety of fun swimming areas that everyone enjoyed.
• No Sunday newspapers.

“The Hilton Pointe Tapatio is a fun, friendly, relaxed resort where everyone in the family will find fun. The kids loved the pools, as did Mom and Dad at the swim-up lounge. The whole family had a wonderful golf adventure, too.”

• The pool and the pool staff was great.
• No breakfast buffet and not easy access to breakfast with kids.

• Not a great location relative to my activites in the city.

“The room was nicely appointed and I had no complaints. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I have nothing but compliments for them. The pools/spa areas were excellent although pool-side service at the main pool was painfully slow. The property may not be the best for folks who have some type of physical limitations as the hotel is situated within some cliffs/buttes and there are steep walks all over the property. The only issue for me was that the location was not overly convenient relative to where most of my activities were. I would still recommend this property as a great place to stay.”

• Different Pointe of View was fantastic.
• Restaurant should have had desert wines by the glass for the level of restaurant it was.

“Very good hotel, which in warmer months would be even a better destination for families with the water park that was contained within the hotel grounds. Overall an excellent hotel with one of the best restaurants imaginable with a breathtaking view of Phoenix.”

“It's positively the most beautiful resort in America that we've stayed in. Our room looked, smelled and felt brand new. The balcony was perfectly clean, no spider webs or leaves even though there was a tree just 2 feet from it. Towels and linens smelled very fresh. When we called for a second blanket, it was at our door within 1 minute. Amazing service was proven over and over. They arranged for a rental car company to pick us up (they were at our doorstep in 20 minutes), gave us undivided attention at the guest services desk and we checked out in the comfort of our car. The grounds are kept in amazing condition. My daughter said she would
love to get married and have her wedding reception there. Thank-you for treating us like royalty!”

• The hotel was beautiful, calm & relaxing.
• Very crowded, full to capacity, lots of stairs.

“Although it was a full house at Tapatio Cliffs we were checked in quickly. The hotel itself is beautiful, lush greenery, fountains and waterfalls. Set in the cliffs there is a lot of hills but the resort has a transportation van that picks you up with one call (and no longer then a 10 or 15 min wait) and takes you anywhere on the property. Rooms are spacious and attended to promptly. Pools everywhere! Loved it and plan on going back soon!”

• Multiple pools close to suite.

“The Pointe Hilton properties are the best resort in the valley of the sun. If these resorts were located a few miles east into Scottsdale or Paradise Valley they would be 2 - 3 times as expensive. Newly remolded and well maintained.”

• It was beautiful and had a great swimming pool. The shuttle to the pool was nice with little kids.
• They had no microwaves or fridges in the room. That is something most cheap hotels have.

“It was pretty good but I was disappointed that it did not have a microwave or fridge. That is something I expect a resort to have in its rooms.”

• If we had been there for a romantic weekend, I would have been disappointed due to the many manner less people at the pool.

• I liked the waterfalls it was so nice there.
• The other pools are not as nice and the water was very hot at the other pools.

• The hotel was beautiful, clean and very helpful to me at this time.
• I did not like the fact that they charged $3 for every room service deliver on top of a gratuity.

“We stayed at this hotel because our air-conditioning went out at our home. It was very convenient and the staff was very helpful. The grounds and the pool offered me and my daughter a great place to spend the time while waiting for our service to be repaired. This is a very nice hotel to stay in for anyone who is traveling.”

• I liked the fact it was an all suites hotel.
• I found a hair in my salad that wasn't mine. The fold out bed in the couch had dirty sheets our first night there. We had to call housekeeping fix.

“I think the hotel is good for families because it's roomy with the fact there are suites. They have a good pool area for kids with a slide. I found a hair in my salad that I bit into that was not mine from the hotel restaurant. The restaurant did comp us breakfast the next day, to make up for it. Our first night there, I pulled out the hide a bed for our daughters and the sheets were dirty, with chips in them. Housekeeping did come and changed the sheets fairly quickly.”

• The front desk staff as well as the valet staff was very helpful and welcoming.
• The outdated decor as well as being wrongly charged $20 for Mini Bar.

“If you are interested in traveling back to the 80"s this is your property. Outdated decor both in and around the property. Visiting during the summer, we were extremely pleased with the suite's A/C. The resort's staff was attentive and prompts to our needs. Our favorite feature was the clean, fresh, and comfy bedding. Supreme, really! The grounds were unkept with leaves, cig buds, and bird waste scattered everywhere; stairwells, walkways, flower beds, and balconies.”

“The room was beautiful. My only complaint is there was a fork from a previous guest under the mini bar and the refrigerator was not cold. The weather was miserable (115 degrees), but the air conditioner worked miracles! The bedroom was large enough for us to set up our daughter's pack, play and still have more than enough room to walk around.”

• They had seven pools.
• Everything in the hotel was very expensive! Nothing was free or complimentary.

“I would never stay at this hotel again! Well, not unless I won the lottery. Everything was over priced. They did not offer complimentary water bottles in the 115 degree heat. Their vending machines were $2.50 a pop. The Starbucks coffee was much more expensive than at a regular Starbucks. The Mexican restaurant was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The other restaurant was so expensive; we are talking 20 dollars or more a plate. The kids menu wasn't a huge variety. Even the little cafe at the Falls was expensive. We got 4 drinks, 2 non alcoholic and a basket of fries, it was 33 dollars. If anyone plans on staying here, I hope you have transportation that was the one thing that saved us from leaving this place flat broke. I don't recommend anyone stay here.”
