• Quiet, great central location, exceptional beds and
  clean.
• Nothing negative.

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It exceeded my expectations for a centrally located hotel. Fabulous rooms, quick check out, newspaper delivered daily. Exceptionally quiet. Five star rating as far as I'm concerned.”

• The room was actually bigger and nicer than we expected.
• We were given wrong directions to the restaurant we wanted to go to.

“It was easy, convenient for the business we had to take care of in Phoenix and comfortable. The staff is a bit too well trained to be nice but not too overdone. They don't know much about nearby restaurants so it might help to do a little homework before you come.”

• Friendly staff and very well maintained property. One of the nicer hotels in that part of the city.
• There was heavy construction on the streets nearby, but nothing the hotel could do about that.

• The spaciousness of the room was exceptional. It was twice the size of a standard room with a nice seating area. Very nice!

“At first glimpse, we thought this hotel was too close to the Downtown, but it turned out to be a great location ~ very central/quiet location. The room was fabulous, large and clean. We were surprised at the large sitting room, refrigerator and microwave. We would not hesitate to stay at a Marriott Fairfield again ~ we highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The "continental" breakfast was top notch! It was more than just coffee & hard croissants. It was very good!”

• Rooms where clean and came with a refrigerator and microwave.
• Hotel was in Downtown Phoenix, so the traffic was heavy in the morning.

“Hotel met my expectations. Clean room with comfortable beds. Hotel had a courtesy breakfast and a friendly staff.”

• Near museums and some good restaurants.
• Construction going on in area.

“Centrally located, with a good-sized pool for swimming laps, quiet rooms with consideration for business travelers and people with laptops, this hotel has an excellent continental breakfast (better than most) and friendly staff.”

• Very clean, nice large rooms, free internet connectivity, helpful staff.
• Location is probably good, but road construction in town made it difficult to get to.

“The hotel impressed me. For the price, you have nice clean and LARGE rooms. Although not suites, they do meet the need of being relaxing, comfortable and inviting. Breakfast area was clean, the food was hot and fresh, and the coffee was not empty (a big plus).”

• Clean, free expanded breakfast, courteous staff, nice facilities, good location.
• No convenience store on site (but Circle K across street).

“The Wingate Inn is an excellent business class hotel. It is clean, with a pool, spa, and workout room. Free breakfast that goes beyond the typical, continental fare, is an added plus. The staff is courteous and helpful. Don't expect a resort hotel with a distinctive personality or particular local flavor; however, for a clean, comfortable, well-located stay at an exceptional value, the Wingate can't be beat.”

• I like the safe in the room for my valuables.
• Can't say anything bad about the hotel.

• Courteous staff, comfortable/spacious rooms, great breakfast.
• None.

“A pleasant surprise. The staff was wonderful, courteous, and helpful. Rooms were clean, spacious--nice mini-refrigerator, big fluffy bath towels. Comfy beds/pillows. Nice computer room with free access and a printer to use. Close to downtown. Very convenient.”

• Large breakfast in a clean atmosphere.
• Streets were torn up by construction all around the hotel.

“This was a very clean and comfortable hotel. The breakfast buffet was adequate and there was plenty of seating around a large television to view the news during breakfast. The shuttle was convenient to take us anywhere within a 5 mile radius of the hotel. Excellent service!”

• I was able to leave my car at the hotel while I was away at no charge.
• The air conditioning in the room seemed to be on a sensor, so at night it was a little stuffy.

“Loved this hotel. I am in Phoenix for business quite a lot and I will definitely stay here.”

• Great location if your in town for local events.

“The hotel was right in the heart of central phoenix. We didn't have to travel far to get to our destinations the weekend we stayed. the hotel staff were courteous and professional. Excellent stay I would do it again. Thank you wingate!”

• This hotel was 'ok'.
• The beds and pillows were old and not very comfortable.

“I appreciate that there was breakfast and it was well stocked and fresh. The front lobby and breakfast area was open and very cheery. I did like that there was high-speed internet available as part of the room price. The biggest problem for me were the beds were not very comfortable and so I did not get the best night's sleep.”
