• They have a quiet floor which is really nice.

• The comfy bed.
• Elevator was down.

“The clerk directed us to the elevator and it was down. I had asked for the shortest way to our room because my husband is on oxygen. We had a very lengthy walk to the elevator then another lengthy walk too get to our room. Other than that it was a great room.”

• It's located close to my family and it's inexpensive.
• The maid should not knock on your door at 8am when you are scheduled to leave at noon.

“Some of the third floor rooms have heavy traffic noise from the freeway close by. First and second floors do not. I requested a second floor and was told none were available but the parking lot remained practically empty both days. The rooms are nice and the beds are very comfy.”

“Overall the experience was nice. I just think that they need to either use different stuff to wash their towels in or buy some better towels. They were very ruff feeling and for anyone who may have a sunburn, they would be horrible to use.”

• The beds were very comfortable.
• No wireless internet, no free continental breakfast, everything you want costs extra. Indoor pool was too cold to use.

“The public areas of this hotel were beautiful and elegant. The swimming pools inside and out were wonderful, although the pools weren't heated warm enough and we always use them. Both Jacuzzis were wonderful. The beds were very comfortable, although we were told we'd have 2 queen beds, they were actually full size (too small for two people). The room was compact and narrow and it was difficult to navigate around the furniture. The carpets were stretched out and bumpy throughout the building. There was no kind of free continental breakfast, or anything else, I think, which was very inconvenient. And the breakfast buffet that was available was too expensive. The Internet in the room was not wireless, which was awkward because we came with two computers we wanted to use. If we hadn't just happened to have a wire in our computer bag to connect to it, we'd have had to go out and purchase one to use it at all, which would have been very inconvenient.”

• Comfortable bed.
• Old rooms, not necessarily clean, loud air conditioner.

“The lobby and the public spaces are large and nicely maintained. The rooms are older and could use some refurbishment. Although the hotel has wireless internet, the reception in certain parts of the hotel are poor. The mirror in my room was cracked, the air conditioner was loud and whiny, and the floor needed a good vacuuming. Fortunately the bed was extremely comfortable.”

• It needs some updating. Old carpet had big wrinkles in it.

• Full of soccer kids and loud basketball fans.
• Loud noise and pool was full of children from open to close.

“The hotel was nice and most of the staff was friendly. There was loud noise coming from children in the hotel all over and a lot of people in town for the All Star game. We were kept up late by noise in the adjoining rooms and just when we were ready to turn the TV off and try to get to sleep, hotel security knocked on our door to tell us to keep it down!”

• The staff was extremely friendly, the room was excellent and the security was good.
• I do no have a negative remark.

“I had not in the past stayed at this hotel, I enjoyed my evening, felt extremely comfortable, will be looking forward to my next opportunity to stay at a Crown Plaza either at this hotel or another facility. I felt the room was a great value, I have stayed at a number of hotels in that location and this was far superior to the others.”

• The bed is really comfortable.
• The in room carpet is old.

“Overall I would say the hotel meets my expectations. It has large lobby and very friendly staff, and in room washroom is nice and clean, and we were impressed on how comfortable the bed is. The only thing we do not like is the carpet on the floor.”

• Very close to our destination, beds were terrific with the covers and lots of pillows very comfortable, staff was very efficient and prompt.
• 1st room had bad smell and TV. Moved us to a great room in a few minutes, AC in that room started a loud squealing noise in am.

“We were very happy with the hotel and they were quick to move us to a better room with the smell and no TV the first room had. We would love to visit there again. Not too happy with Phoenix though got out truck was robed while we were eating dinner. Got a new car though.”

• Very clean room, comfortable, nice amenities.
• Bathroom needed repairs. Humid due to indoor pool.

“Exterior of the hotel does not do the rooms justice. The rooms were very nicely appointed with comfortable linens, towels and a robe, a CD player/alarm clock with a complimentary CD to help you sleep. Interior-facing room was slightly humid because of the indoor pool, but very quiet and dark even during midday.”

• Close to freeway, staff was very pleasant, rooms were nice for the price.
• Refrigerator not very cold, beds kind small but comfortable, under construction.

“Staff was awesome, under construction and the walkway to the breakfast area was kind of dangerous for small children or the elderly due to the fact under their tarps the had plastic and it made walking through there slippery. I was very pleased and would stay there again.”

“The Crown Plaza is a very nice quiet place to stay near all things. I like it when I get this hotel, I know it is clean and the staff is nice. There are many places to stay in Phoenix but the Crown Plaza is one of the best!”

• Beds were super comfortable, staff helpful & friendly.
• No free breakfast - continental or otherwise. Noisy teenagers in hall into the wee (2am) hours.

“Our room was clean and nicely decorated. I would stay there again just for the very convenient make up mirror in the bathroom. (Women with poor eyesight will understand this). Due to poor directions to our room, we did get the full tour of the facility. We couldn't have parked any farther from our room.”

• The hotel is very clean and in an excellent location. The staff is great!
• When checking in they asked for a $50 cash deposit from my husband. I checked in about 2 hours later and the same person required $100 deposit from me.

“Our overall stay was pleasant. I was very upset when I checked in and was asked for $100 cash deposit when my husband had checked in a little earlier and was asked for only a $50.00 cash deposit. This did not make sense to me. The drink prices are extremely high from the bar as are meal prices in the restaurant. I would stay there again but would question the large $100 deposit required.”

• Old building, short ceilings, a bit run down.

“It was clean and did have a lot of amenities to offer. However, this hotel is older and that was noticed in both the general areas and in the hotel rooms. Definitely a good hotel for a few nights stays.”

• Excellent - warm, friendly customer service. Very quiet, well insulated.
• Many rooms face into an indoor pool/atrium instead of outside toward the beautiful desert views available from this location.

“Nice facilities, two pools (one indoor, one outdoor) and resort level amenities. The professional staff is immediately responsive to guest requests and repair issues. Great location just off the freeway, easy in and out even during rush hours. Quiet, at all hours of the day. Very restful, close local and chain eateries. Highly recommended!”

• 6 nights, 6 hotels, and this was the only one which would not give us a roll-away.

“I would recommend for business travelers; but, not a good option for family travel. The hotel policy would not allow the staff to bring us a roll-away; but, the young lady on duty volunteered to bring us several pillows and blankets allowing us to create a bed for our 3rd child.”
