• Great location.
• No heat.

• Sun-blocking drapes.
• Worn hallway carpets.

“Easy access from freeway, but far enough off that there was no traffic noise. Roomy room and sun-blocking drapes made the stay comfortable.”

• Close to freeway
• Carpet stained & bathroom floor tiles broken

“For the fact I just needed a bed to sleep in while in town it was very functional. The bed was very comfortable. The room was a little cramped but tolerable. I was not impressed with the small adjoining room with just a sink & then the actual bathroom with another sink, toliet & shower. I felt the room space was not allocated well. The actual bathroom was very small. The door came within about an inch to the toliet so moving around was difficult.”

• The room smelled horrible and the bathtub was not very clean.

“I would not stay at this hotel again. The room smelled horrible. Almost like dirty gym socks! Our room was right outside a main door and we could hear people coming in and out all night and running down the halls. Very thin walls!”

• It has a good atmosphere.
• The restaurant was only open during morning hours.

“The Red Lion Hotel is a family bases hotel my children love it and I love the fitness center. Also the room was located in an area where I could see my personal vehicle.”

• Location, size of room, convenience to parking and entry.
• TV is tucked away so that it's only visible from the beds, unless I failed to understand something.

• Location.
• Zero insulation in walls. Very noisy.

“The restaurant closed 10 minutes after check-in although their brochure said it was to stay open 2 hours later,
TV remote batteries dead. Noise very apparent in hallway after party ended, in parking lot where a group had gathered and from adjacent rooms. Someone attempted to open door from adjoining room in the middle of the night.”

• Convenient location off highway, large facility.
• Non opening windows, indoor pool smell.

“This is Pocatello's conference hotel. Not brand new like a few of the other chains in town, consequently older facilities, furnishings, design and accommodations. If you want a bar and restaurant at the hotel, or need meeting space, this fills the bill. If you want the newest facilities in town, this isn't it.”

• It was a pleasant stay.
• Everything, I'm disabled and my stay was great. I enjoyed the bathroom, they were designed very well for a disabled person. Thank You.

• Large room and great pools.
• Wet paint on doors, no microwave, or fridge.

“This hotel was great to stay at. The room were large, clean, and nice and had a desk. The pools were great. There was a large swimming pool, a kids wading pool, and a hot tub. There was no microwave or fridge which would have been nice. I would definitely stay here again.”

• I really missed the complimentary coffee in the lobby. The city water was made awful coffee.

• The room was large and very roomy. The bed was extremely comfortable and we are planning on buying one just like it.
• There wasn't really anything we didn't like about it.

“The personnel was very friendly and was always ready to help. It was very quiet and peaceful. The room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable. My husband and I slept like a baby. We even looked to see what kind it was because we want to buy one just like it.”

• It was really convenient for travel with a pet, pool is great.
• The menu in the room was not up to date (items in the menu were not available).

• Nice looking place.
• Smoker previously in room, coffee in microwave, very old and gross.

“Nice looking exterior, older interior. Pets allowed, which gives my wife allergy problems. Cleanliness and attention to detail is not good. Stuff found when furniture is moved, etc. Cup of coffee in microwave since weeks before smelled and looked gross. First room smelled strongly of smoke. They moved us to another one.”

• Lot of dust and I found a stain on a towel that was brown.

“The employees were very nice. As for housekeeping, they need to slow down and clean a little better. I do not like dust everywhere and when I get out of a shower I expect a clean white towel.”

• The bed and extra pillows was very comfortable.
• There were hairs in the soap dish and cellophane on the carpet.

“Nice stay, but almost asked for another room due to the toilet having a high pitched squeal when flushed and also there were short hairs/whiskers in the soap dish and cellophane on the carpeting. Toilet and tub were very clean and bed was nicely made up.”

• They were pet friendly and the pool backed up to our room! Very nice!
• The late night staff was not very helpful or friendly.

“In general everything was great we arrived at 230 am to have to wait for 15 minutes since the computers were down. Very frustrating after a 8 1/2 hour drive with two young kids. The night guy was kind of rude and gave free breakfast coupons to some guys who waited less time than we did but was completely unsympathetic to me and my kids. Room was wonderful, day people were wonderful, more than met my expectations room wise. Not sure I would tell people to stay there, I felt very annoyed and it pretty much cast a shadow over my whole trip.”

• The soft beds, the pool and the price!
• No breakfast.

“This hotel is so clean and the beds are so comfortable! It is right off the freeway and close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. The pool is perfect for kids and the hotel staff is always very good. We stay at this hotel about once a month.”

• The employees were very kind and great listeners.
• Managers did not follow through with complaints. Major lack of towels in the hotel.

“I was not impressed with the management. My concerns about dirty sheets and lack of towels for 4 days were not addressed. Employees were very kind but had no power to make the guest happy.”

• How long I had to wait in line to check in.

• Clean, quiet, and nice clean bedding with many pillows!
• Lack of elevator.

“We were told upon check in the hotel was having water pressure problems. The problem was remedied in several hours! We appreciated the candor of the front desk lady. Had we gone to the room and found no water. Well, we would have been upset! She was honest upon check in and buffered what could have been a bad situation.”

• I loved the bed and linens in the room.
• Most days the cleaning crew forgot to replace my sheets, so I had to call for more.

“As a business traveler, I appreciated the convenient location as well as the fridge and microwave. As I was at this hotel, the rest of my co-workers were are another one across the street and had to go out for every meal. I was able to do a little shopping and didn't go out once. It saved me a lot of money and time.”
