• The location was great for us. We were centrally located with easy access to anywhere.
• Parking was a bit of a challenge.

“This hotel was nothing fancy but it did have a refridgerator in the room-which is always nice. It was clean, convenient and served us well. The people were very helpful and friendly.”

• Stole money out of my Credit Card.

“Hang on to your wallets ~~ After my stay they stole money out of my credit card and on the next time, even though it was prepaid, would not honer giving me a room (refused to let me stay) because I would not let them have access to my credit card again. I am a long time traveler. For 7 years I stayed in a different hotel every night and in a different city all over the U.S.. Never have I been so mistreated!”

“My stay at the Holiday Inn was great. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean. The rooms were quiet and we couldn't hear our neighbors at all. It was a very pleasant stay and I will stay there again when in the area.”

• The atmosphere was very relaxing and very kid friendly. A nice place to get away for a weekend of relaxation.

• The Holidome rocks!
• Floors around pool are dangerously slipery. Some recreational equipment broken.

“The greatest thing about this hotel was the Holidome. As a parent of three children it was a surprise and delight. The pool was shallow enough that even my 4 year-old was able to enjoy herself. The hot tub and sauna were an added delight. We also enjoyed playing ping-pong, billiards and foosball. We had a wonderful time. My 7 year-old liked it so much he wants to stay there for his birthday!

“I didn't like to location. The bathroom didn't have a fan. Number of TV channels very limited. Pillows were very hard and small. The knobs on the AC/heater were missing, thus unable to control room temperature, unable to turn heat on as it was cold. Requested for a king-size bed and was told no. Not satisfied, disappointing to say the least.”

• Free internet, pool table and various other diversions poolside, ping pong, etc.
• The hot tub was not working, the free internet station was literally right next to the check-in desk.

“The pool area was huge and offered lots of nice space and things to do. Nice TV and channel selection. Restaurants/gasoline in immediate area of hotel.”

• The front desk clerk was exceptional!
• Lacked handicapped parking in area my room was in.

“The front desk clerk made a average stay into an enjoyable stay through her pleasantries when I checked in. She was the most cordial clerk that I have ever dealt with in over 35 years of staying in motels for business of pleasure. She was commendable, accommodating to our needs and very cordial. I would stay there again due to her helpfulness and demeanor.”

• I am a non-smoker that ended up in a smoke room with small children.

“Hotel staff refused to let me exchange my smoking room for a non-smoking even though I am a non-smoker and had small children with me. Hotel staff stated hopefully the guest before you weren't heavy smokers. I have never been in a room that smelled like cigarette smoke more than at this hotel. In the morning we all had headaches and red eyes because of the smell from the cigarette smoke.”

• The pool was a great amenity and the staff was responsive.
• Construction outside our room three days in a row in the early morning.

“This hotel is fine for families with kids that do not expect to get much sleep. The rooms are not well insulated, the air conditioner systems are dated, and it is a step up from a Motel 6 type of hotel. However, the front desk was receptive to our needs and we had everything we needed.”

• I have stayed there for years and the service is always good. Since the remodel the rooms are very nice for this level of property.
• Can't think of anything. My wife complains about everything and she can't think of anything either.

“Location to I-15 and to the major streets in Pocatello is excellent. Short drive to everything. The staff was friendly and helpful, checking in took no time at all.”

• The beds are comfortable and the pillows are great!
• The front desk girls were very unprofessional (they chewed gum!).

“Communication between staff shifts is very poor. The front desk people (especially the females) were very rude and unprofessional. I was very disappointed with the first room we had but the second room was very nice, very quiet and met my expectations. Parking is insufficient.”

• The indoor pool, pool table, table tennis, and lounge.
• Unable to get connecting rooms, coffee filer wasn't removed from coffee pot while cleaning.

“The staff was friendly. I had called the hotel to make sure that we could get adjoining rooms for my small children. I was told that it had been requested. But when I got to the hotel they didn't have an adjoining room. They got the rooms as close as they could. The pool was fun for the kids, and if we had had more time the other features looked inviting. The front desk staffed also called to the room to make sure that everything was okay.”

• The location was perfect and the pool table, foosball and ping pong and swimming pool were fantastic additions!
• The air conditioner could have been a bit more powerful.

“My kids thought this was the best hotel they've ever stayed in. We swam everyday in the huge pool (2/3 of which is under 4ft, perfect for my little ones), and they constantly wanted to be at the game tables. The staff was friendly and helpful. We could not have picked a better place!”

“Hotel is very clean and well appointed. Staff was helpful and courteous. Hotel has a nice indoor pool, spa, and game area. We were only there overnight, but it looked like a nice choice for a longer stay. We did not use the restaurant, but it looked nice. Location was convenient to highway, gas, and other restaurants.”

• The room was perfect for my needs and it exceeded my expectations. I especially enjoy fine dining at the restaurant located adjacent to the lobby.
• No complaints whatsoever.

“Holiday inn Pocatello is the perfect place to meet all of your needs whether you travel with family or have business or conferences in the area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, whisper's lounge is cozy, the fine dining is a delicious experience, the pool and sauna are relaxing and everyone is friendly. “The hotel was perfectly adequate and I would stay there again. The prime rib dinner was really lousy and overpriced, but I didn't learn my lesson and had an omelet for breakfast, bad.”
