• Really nice bedding.
• Gallery style (80's) layout of hotel. A long maze to get to room. Felt unsafe in case of emergency.

“An excellent value. Everything was good. Didn't like the gallery style layout of the hotel - had to walk a long way and wind our way through 3 corridors to our room. I look for the nearest exit in this situation in case of emergency.”

• The atmosphere was nice and the bed comfortable.
• The carpet in the lobby and elevators was old, dirty and stained.

“My 17 year old daughter and I were in town for a school shopping trip. We enjoyed our room and the pool area, but I don't believe the rooms are worth $130.00 a night.”

“This is a very nice Holiday Inn in a very convenient location right on the river and in the middle of downtown Missoula. It has a great pool & Jacuzzi and a great bar and restaurant.”

• Vvery clean, and pleasant.
• Rroom had balcony off the lobby, lights were on all night long.

“It was nice, convenient, well priced, my particular room was in a poor location as I noted above, aside from the lights being on all night, there was no access to outdoor ventilation.”

• Friendly staff, excellent location, clean.
• Room stuffy and warm, window/slider door did not open to outside.

“The locations of this hotel was excellent. The staff was friendly and the facility was clean. The only downside was not having a window or slider door that opened to the outside rather than to the atrium.”

• Location, nice remodel job, public areas are great.
• Bathroom in room wasn't that nice and was dimly lit.

“The hotel is updated tastefully, is well lit (except for the bathroom in the room), and is easy to get to. It is absolutely 2.5 star. Wireless internet is free and they have a good channel selection on the TV. The bed and the sheets are not as soft as the Hilton chain (Doubletree) that I normally stay in, but they provided 4 pillows on my king bed, so I was able to get reasonably comfortable. The shampoo seemed to be a nice green tea blend, and the lotion had a pleasant smell. I had a hard time getting the face soap to lather into a nice foam, but bath soap worked just fine in the shower. Overall, the hotel was clean and comfortable and I enjoyed staying there. Many times when I stay in smaller cities the name brand hotels are dingy and are old. Thankfully the update on this hotel is done well, the staff is friendly, and I really have no complaints. I would stay here again.”

• The staff was outstanding - great recommendations and very helpful.
• Nothing wrong!

“This hotel had everything at a good price. Free internet access was so handy, the staff went way beyond what was expected. Always willing to help! It was a perfect location to the downtown, close to the university, river, shopping, and especially near the best ice cream place in town. Was pleasantly surprised.”

• Great location, newly renovated, stylish, great staff.
• Small indoor pool area in basement; exposed business center in lobby.

“I had a great stay at this hotel; it's very nice for a Holiday Inn and the downtown location borders a park next to the river. It was renovated within a year and has tastefully styled, large rooms with river views and a 5 story center atrium. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Had dinner at a nice French restaurant, Pearl, a block away.”

“Downtown Missoula has an anchor facility in this handsome motel. While the motel is nothing exceptional its location is, and only the faint of heart would be put off by the normal dilapidation of a 150 yr old town center.”

• Updated decor and location; pool area.
• Fitness center lacked equipment.

“We enjoyed our stay overall; the hotel is very modern with minimalist decor and great artwork in the rooms. However, there was a very raucous party in the room above us that lasted until 3 a.m. I called the front desk and the matter was addressed (no more noise). One negative was that my daughter, who is 8, slipped and fell in the bath tub while taking a shower. Her foot slipped on the back edge portion and she sustained some serious bruising on her leg and side.”

• It was well put together and attractive.
• Not enough sugar and creamer in room for coffee.

“Upon entering the hotel the attendants were polite and efficient. It was easy to check into and the room was spacious and clean. The desk attendants were helpful to obtaining additional supplies to the room and were polite. The hotel amenities were convenient to use. The check out was also quick and easy.”
