• Convenient, clean, love Havasu for a nice break.
• Sparse landscaping.

“I stayed at a 2-star last year in the same area, paid more, and the room had not even been cleaned from the previous occupant. I was nervous about taking a 1-star, but delighted with the overall value for price.”

• It was quiet.
• Poor breakfast buffet.

“Off the beaten path a little. More concerned with business guests of the hotel. The breakfast was not good, a few donuts and some dry cereal. They charged a $2 service charge but didn't say what it was for.”

• The bed was awful and the refrigerator buzzed all night long.

• The maid service was very good.
• The manager was rude and the hotel smelled of smoke!

“The hotel is in need of a facelift and you would be better off staying in another hotel if you are traveling with small children. This hotel would be better for business travelers who don't really care but are just looking for a bed to sleep in.”

• Price was reasonable; helpful staff, reasonable continental breakfast.
• Very hot room.

“I recommended that the staff turn on the A/C at least an hour before check in time. In our first room, facing the sun, and on the second floor, the A/C did not work at all creating a virtual oven. The manager moved us a different room on the first floor, facing north, and was much cooler. At least the A/C worked. Our original room had a king size bed, which was one of the reasons for my selection, but the first room we had was (apparently) the only one available with a king, so we settled for two queens, not special. The facility was pretty much at the end of "hotel row", and served our purposes well enough.”

“I thought it was a little overpriced for the time of week. It turned out there was a nice big motel across the London Bridge that had all the amenities and was pretty new.”

• Nothing Rick the manager called me a lire made us change rooms after he agreed to upgrade us.
• The lying staff said they rented our room we had had to move because he got someone to pay him more money for the room.

“I would not stay at this motel again for free Fred.”

• Friendly and attentive staff; rooms very clean.
• Heater wasn't quite as warm as I would have liked it.

“We had an incident where a smoking room person left their door open to let the smoke escape from their room which drifted into our non-smoking room right across from them. We called the staff and they went to tell the people they could not do that. However, I think it can be somewhat dicey to mix smoking with non-smoking rooms right next to each other. Either have whole floors of one type or put the smoking rooms away from the common hallway.”

• Breakfast limited to dough nuts and cereal.

“If you don't mind the slim pickings' for breakfast, the hotel is just fine. Hey, just go out for breakfast and you're set.”
