• Excellent all around for comfort, relaxation and location.

“While the staff was extremely courteous and helpful in every detail. If we are in Twin Falls in the future will we use Red Lion - yes by all means? Will I "bad mouth" Red Lion - not on your life. In fact we stopped at a Red Lion in Pendleton OR on our return trip and ate lunch there because we knew the quality of Red Lion's restaurant/coffee shop menu and food preparation, presentation and friendliness of the staff. There is also a Red Lion here in Salem OR and we will probably stop by the restaurant/coffee shop to sample some of the deserts we didn't have time to sample in Twin Falls!”

• The pool.
• There was not a coffee maker in the room.

“Overall everything was okay. I didn't appreciate being woken up at 8:00 a.m. by the cleaning crew on a Sunday morning. I also did not like the fact there was no coffee maker in the room. Overall all though, everything else was fine.”

• No breakfast, seasonal pool, looks old.

“I'm always impressed with Red Lion. This one looked older than the others but still very nice. Didn't like that pool was seasonal and there was no breakfast. Bed super comfortable. Great location.”

“The TV was very old and didn't have the proper outlets for the game system we brought. It was a big change from our last hotel. Small rooms. However it was fine for what we needed it for.”

“Hotel was very clean. Had easy access to main street, restaurants, shopping. Was disappointed that it was not child friendly (no pool access in winter, no breakfast included, vending machines were extremely expensive) in reality, I could have stayed in a Super 8 for the same price and would have had an in hotel pool or hot tub and a continental breakfast. But it was clean and quiet.”

“This hotel is nice, or it's star level. Our room wasn't very clean and out bed had crumbs on it. The rooms and hotel were comfortable and convenient however, if you don't need a perfectly clean room and for some reason want to stay in Twin Falls, this is a nice hotel.”

• Rooms were fabulously decorated. Loved marble sinks.
• I wish they had an indoor pool and hot tub.

• Evidently a Christmas party was set up in one of the convention rooms, and there were drunken partiers out and about in the wee hours which disturbed.

“Hotel was fine and restaurant! Loud party and drunken guests, contributed to lack of sleep that night. I called management and they were a little slow in remediation the problem.”

• They put someone with 2 dogs in the room next door and they barked all morning.

“This was the worst stay in a hotel we have ever had. We had just gone to sleep when a baseball time rolled in and was making a lot of noise in the hallway. Then the thermostat didn't work. We had to control the temperature by getting up and turning the heater on and off. The guest next door left at 6:30 am. He left his 2 dogs in the room. They started barking and wouldn't stop. The hotel staff wouldn't do anything about it until they could get a hold of the owner on his cell phone. That took over 45 minutes. We left tiered, stressed, and frustrated.”

• The bathroom had a sour smell and the carpets were not the cleanest.

“This hotel was way overpriced for the quality. The problem is that there's not much to choose from in Twin Falls, so they can manage to keep their rates on the higher side. The room had a funky smell and the bathroom had a sour odor (and I know it wasn't my wife). The carpets in the room were kind of dirty. The TV was small and the picture on it was kind of snowy. They pool was nice. If I were to do it again I'd go with a cheaper one-star hotel.”

“We were all very pleased with the clean rooms, comfy beds, and the hotel in general. The shower head was too high up and made for only tall people to adjust. The front desk clerk didn't take care of an error in a timely manner as he should have. Our overall stay was very good and we'll stay there again!”

• The exterior does not look as well as the interior.

“This is the only hotel that ever asked if we wanted a room upstairs or downstairs. We always have stayed upstairs far from the door and elevator, so this was a welcome change. They accommodated for non-smoking as well. The excursive room was unavailable due to construction.”

• The rooms were clean.
• The pool was not functioning, neither was the hot tub. Very little amenities. Nothing for the kids to do.

“The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, other than that it was not very appealing. The pool was not working; the hot tub and exercise room were under construction. The hotels near this location had indoor, functioning pools, hot tubs, and a free breakfast. This hotel had none of these amenities.”

• The bathroom was very roomy.
• The TV was old and made a horrible buzzing noise.

“The room was very nice, better than what we expected. The beds were very comfortable and had attractive comforters. The bathroom was large and the counter tops were granite. They had Bath & Body Works soaps & shampoo's which was fun. The only things I disliked about the hotel was that there was no fan in the bathroom and the TV was old and made a buzzing noise when we paid to watch a movie. I would definitely stay here again!”

• Cig smoke smell in non-smoking, room to room noise transmission, hot tub not working.

“Hesitate to stay there again because of noise from room to room. They said they had pool, but didn't mention it was only outside pool even thought it's the middle of winter. Indoor hot tub had no water. ”

• Great location. Convenient to restaurants and shopping.
• The room had an offensive, stale smell. The television was small and old and the picture flickered on and off at times.

“For the name recognition of Red Lion, I felt like this hotel did not meet my expectations. The room did not smell good- as if it had once been a smoking room and was now designated non-smoking. The limited contact I had with the staff was positive and pleasant.”

“Three out of four of the staff were unfriendly and acted inconvenienced to answer my questions. Even though the door was locked and it was three hours before checkout time the maid knocked repeatedly to see if they could come in and clean the room. The hotel was overpriced and unpleasant to stay at.”

“Need to improve the quality of its staff. There was only one person who was unfriendly (everyone else was great) but this one person is enough to bring the entire experience down. Other hotels focus hard on getting the right persons at the front desk, and this makes all the difference in the world.”

• Overall cleanliness of the room and the bathroom was well maintained (no water stains, worn/cracked caulking, etc.).
• We had problems with our TV remote it was around 10pm and the staff was unable to remedy the problem; the on site restaurant was pricey for the city.

“The rooms are very nice, clean, quiet and updated. We were very impressed with our stay. The specialty soaps/lotions were a nice change from the norm.”

• The room was tastefully decorated and the bed was incredibly comfortable.
• The pool was outdoors, and even though it had water in it, we couldn't swim because it was locked.

“I had a great experience at this hotel. The location was right in the middle of Twin Falls, and close to the road that leads to Shoshone Falls (which was beautiful). I enjoyed the large hot tub, even though we couldn't swim in the outdoor pool. The room was beautiful and clean, and even the soaps were nice. There was no complimentary breakfast but I liked the coffee shop near the lobby. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.”
