• The hotel should invest in a larger arcade area w/ more arcades.

• Loved the atmosphere. Really loved the movie theatre.
• Obscure location.

“We had been traveling by car for over a week when we arrived at the hotel. We were able to check in 4 hours early at no charge which was terrific. Nice staff as well. We will definitely return to this hotel if we are traveling to that area again.”

• Golf close by.
• Hotel staff was very with customer service from the bellman to the maid service.

“This hotel has a lot of potential; staff needs a refresher in customer service skills. The last time I checked that was the name of the game in the hotel business.”

• The pool and hot tub were great!
• No shampoo or soap in bathroom until third day.

“The Avi is a casino hotel which is a little run down but met our needs. The bed was comfortable and sheets were soft. The restaurants and pool were good. Can't beat the price.”

• I loved the buffet, they had great food. Loved the beach and dock area beautiful for the area.
• The rooms did not have a view and had a odor even thou it was a non-smoking area.

“This hotel is great if you don't mind it being no luxury. It is a family hotel that can become a vacation stay for a weekend to the full. Loved the pool area and the dock area and the Tiki's they had on the "beach" river. I would recommend it to anyone. If your looking for a romantic place this is not the place or luxury this not the place. Overall I enjoyed it and had great food at great prices in the cafe and buffet.”

• It was very close to the event arena where we attended a barrel race.
• The mattress was very hard!

“The room was nice, even though the mattress was hard. There is a movie theater on site which makes it nice for entertaining children.”

• It was very cheap for what we got.
• We encountered quite the cornucopia of stenches ranging from a mixed bouquet of cheap cigarettes to the enigmatic.

“This was a great hotel for the price. If you come and go without gambling you will come out on top (provided you don't linger in the stinker places). Yes, there were a number of times that I nearly gagged for the stench. Stay in your nice room and you will be good.”

“Overall a very nice hotel. Very reasonable in price. A little bit away from the heart of the strip but not so far that it is a big drawback. I would stay here again.”

• The price we paid was what we expected. The people were really friendly and made you feel welcomed.
• Room was old and dirty, leaking faucets, food not so great.

• Convenient - relaxing atmosphere.
• Pool bar should have been staffed better, coffee shop should have been set up better (they were "out: " of many items & tables cleared faster).

“It was okay for the major weekend crowd that was there for the Laughlin river run, but certain things were not handled very well. Perhaps they were understaffed or something. But especially the pool area bar should have been better staffed and why was it closed on some of the days. But all in all it was okay.”

• Easy check in - staff friendly - pool area awesome! - priced great.
• The Italian restaurant was horrible - both service and food.

“A little out of the way but worth the trip. I found the majority of the staff to be happy, friendly and courteous. Housekeeping did a good job on the room daily. The pool and spa area was deluxe! The casino seemed to be well laid out and did not feel crowded although there were lots of people there. The beach area along the Colorado river was an unexpected surprise. Check in and check out was a breeze. Definitely would stay there again if I return to that area.”

“This hotel is located in a beautiful desert area beside a mountain on the Colorado river in a secluded area only 15 minutes to town. Small casino setting with gorgeous beach and lively night time fun. ”

• The rooms were excellent and the restaurants were very nicely and reasonable.
• The Smokey atmosphere and the fact that the fire alarm went off at 5:30 a.m. Monday morning.

“Upon arriving at the avid, we were able to check in early. The staff was extremely friendly. A bell hop offered to take our bags to our room. This is a wonderful service. Our room was large and comfortable. The feather cafe provided adequate breakfast for a very reasonable price. Overall our experience was very fulfilling and we will visit the avid again.”

• Slower phase nice pool and jazz. Room to bet.
• A little far from down town.

• I hate this hotel. It's too far and they rude staff.
• The front desk staff are rude not helpful at all. It's too expensive for the quality you are getting.

“I wouldn't stay at this hotel if it is the last place there is. It's too far from all the hotels in Laughlin. The staff is not friendly especially at the front desk. The manager is the worse. The room is clogged up yet all the staff said when I checked out was that we will call the plumber. Didn't apologize. Rude as will ever be. The room stinks. Stay at this hotel if you want to divorce you spouse. You will definitely going to puke. I always stay at different hotels ”

• The room was spacious and clean.
• The water was pale yellow out of the tap.

“It is a resort casino catering to seniors in bus junkets. If that's your thing, go for it. The beach and pool area would make it a good spot to visit during the summer months and in that part of the country, summer is from April to November.”

• Great Swimming Pool.
• Thought it was non-smoking, but we smelled some smoke.

“Located on the south side of Laughlin means that you either drive 10 minutes into town or stay at the resort where they have most everything. We arrived in the off season so the prices were reasonable. We had a great swim in the heated pool and whirlpool. Could have rented a jet ski but chose not to.”

“Although I requested a non-smoking room and double-checked at the registration desk before I went upstairs to the room, I was given a smoking room with a view of a wall. The next room they gave I was much better - had a view of the pool!”

• Nice river beach, very good food and prices
• Pools not available, No jet-ski/boats available

“The fact that the pools were out of service and there were no water craft available and none of this was reflected in their websites made this a very unexciting visit during spring break. Lake Havasu, one hour away, was full of facilities and water craft rentals were available everywhere. Call to be sure the facilities are open before booking.”

• none--could be a great place however its far from it.

“not a good visit. staff very unfriendly rooms dirty with burn holes in the blankets. night life none. lounge act was the same Friday and Saturday nights. would not go back if they paid me”
