• $22 daily activity fee.

“Staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Food service was slow due to being very busy, needed more staff but the food was very good. Enjoyed our stay and hope to go again sometime. However, be prepared for an extra fee of $22 per day called an activity fee - it is for parking and use of facilities at the resort, regardless of use.”

“The place feels and looks like somewhere near an Italian village. The lake view room was amazing. The grounds and the outside areas were incredible. The only thing I had an issue with the resort fee of $22.00 per day. They claim it is for free parking, pool use and wifi.”

• Relaxing, excellent lake view, well planned facility.

“This was an upscale, clean, well appointed resort. Although we were there off season, the pools and beach appeared excellent for a family trip. The view if the lake was only interrupted by a lakeside golf course which appeared well maintained. The pool was heated and the hot tub was nice.”

• Outside fire pits and ambiance.

“This hotel has a great location on the Lake, we loved the outside nighttime ambiance of the fire pits and water pools. Enjoyed the lounge, although the bar is very small, the lounge area was very comfortable. We had luck getting most of our questions answered by the star service phone dialing and had a fun time there.”

• Understated, but elegant. Quiet and out of the Las Vegas glitz.
• They closed their casino. Had to go to the Four Seasons to game.

• Excellent personnel in nearly all areas, rooms with refrigerators and very comfortable external surroundings.
• Nothing that we did not like due to service except utilize aromatherapy products in bathrooms.

“The ambience is better than anywhere else in the Las Vegas area and will be dreamy in the winter with ice skating etc. Hotel staff seemed to smile at customers with eye contact & not merely phony smiles that are so common in resort areas and business venues of all sorts. Great Mater Dei & Master Chef.”

• Fantastic for families and for spouses who still want to have a little romantic time to themselves. Very nice resort.
• No complaints. A little pricey for meals but well worth it.

• Super Comfy Beds, staff upgraded our room when we told them it was our anniversary.
• There was a dance competition going on that the hotel was sponsoring and they were dancing and playing music all over hotel, lobby, front of elevator.

“The hotel was nice, the beds were super comfy. The hotel representative upgraded our room and gave us a lake view for our anniversary. However, the hotel was hosting a dance competition and there were young hip hop dancers playing their music and dancing all over the hotel, in the lobby, in front of the elevator, in the hallway, etc. We had breakfast in the cafe. We also did not receive the nightly turn down service while we were out in the village and to dinner, as promised by the hotel. Would stay here again, though, great getaway.”

• Beautiful, plush family friendly hotel. This is where I want to stay when I go to Las Vegas!
• Everything was great!

“Lowe's Lake Las Vegas is an oasis in the desert! It is a beautiful hotel with 2 pools, one for kids with a waterslide and one for adults. It's upscale but family friendly. Lots of great activities, restaurants and shopping near by. I would highly recommend Lowe's as the place to stay!”

• It was very clean beautiful views.
• We chose not watch TV because basic news was 6.99 and 5.00 small bottle of water in the room.

• Great that it's off the strip and right next to the Lake Mead Resort area.
• Food costs, choices.

“Really liked the stay, for once stayed off the strip and was great being with wife and small baby. No casino except for a small one in the Montelago village area, though I didn't check it out. Which was great, no desire to gamble and concentrated on other family friendly activities. Dined at the Japanese place, food was great, a little dismayed at the end with $160 bill for dinner (just me and wife)- and we don't drink alcohol. Plan on having a car if you are there, and the pool area was a blast too.”

• The bed was comfy.
• I wish the pool stayed open later than 7 p.m. Ridiculous.

“Its very pricey once you get there but if you budget you won't spend a lot of money enjoying yourself. If you don't like big crowds this is a good place since its not close to the strip. Its very secluded and peaceful. Don't valet your car as they used peoples cars to shuttle from the hotel to the casino late at night. I wouldn't be pleased if they used my car. The staff was very friendly and moved us from a 2 twin bed room to a king sized bed when we got there. The only real complaint I have is they pretty much shut everything down at the lake after 10 for younger couples or groups. It would be nice to be able to stay at the lake and drink or relax late at night instead of going to the strip and not being able to enjoy yourself since you have a 30 min. drive back to the resort.”

“I stayed here for Memorial weekend and this hotel is very nice! The staff is friendly and helpful. The pools are so pretty and clean the view is spectacular. The weather was a lil. Gloomy but other than that I would recommend this hotel to families with kids.”

We had about 5 rooms and all were so neat, clean and beautiful! stayed there for Memorial weekend and will look forward to staying there on my next trip.”

• The rooms seemed a little vanilla, like a clean 3-star inside a luxury 5-star resort.

“Overall I enjoyed my time. The staff, service, and amenities were great. Unfortunately the room was rather plain and nothing to write home about. It was clean and nicely decorated, but it was a room, not really a "suite".”

• A charge for resort fees of $22 per night (waived) we were not able to use any of the amenities as it was too cold, etc.

“Overall we were very pleased with the accommodations however we stayed at a time that outdoor facilities couldn't be used because of weather. The hallways were not vacuumed in the 4 days we were there (staff shortages.) Very far from the strip, and airport. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would consider staying there again.”

• The hotel was gorgeous. We felt much pampered!
• We were placed in a room with a patio overlooking the parking lot!

“The hotel was fabulous! It is set on a beautiful lake and the view is breathtaking! The amenities are upscale and the staff is very accommodating. I felt much pampered and will stay there every time; I am in the Henderson, NV area. I would even prefer this hotel over any hotel with a casino because it is really more of a resort and retreat. I can easily make the 15 mile drive into Las Vegas for casino action, then retreat to my luxurious room and surroundings at the Loews hotel!”

“This is a beautiful property with very comfortable rooms. Public spaces are also lovely although they are redecorating them since the hotel changed from Hyatt to Loews. Except for the fact that the restaurant is not fantastic, I think this is a wonderful place for all travel. Families, business meetings, weddings, romantic travel, golf and even gambling.”

• The most comfortable bed in the world.
• The maid woke me up at 8am. And they charged me $26 for a 10 min. Phone call.

“The balconies were tiny, but the pools were wonderful, so there were places to go outside. The valet staff was very helpful in calling cabs and shuttles, but the hotel is a bit far away from the casino, the other hotels, and the MonteLago village. I was a little annoyed that the maid woke me up at 8am to clean the room. Also, they charged me $26 for an 11 minute phone call, which was a little over the top. The hotel makes you pay for wireless internet, which I seem to get for free everywhere else. But overall, it's a very nice hotel and I would go back.”

• I liked the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel rooms.
• I did not like that on my first night the hotel overbooked and they had to have me stay in another hotel.

“I was disappointed when after getting in on a late night flight, I had to stay in another hotel because the hotel was overbooked. There was no transportation from the hotel to the airport and the $15 per day resort fee was not stated. Other than that the stay was comfortable.”

• The hotel common areas were outstanding, as was the staff.
• The room had flat screen LCD TVs, but only low quality cable TV. The hotel room was in a weird shape and the bathroom was very plain.

“Excellent get away spot, with a lot to do. Only about 15 minutes to the strip and less than a 1/2 an hour to Hoover dam. A lot of things to do in the general area and away from the hustle and bustle of the strip. Sits on a nice lake with plenty of sports and pools on the grounds.”

• A bit far out of Las Vegas but definitely worth the drive.

“Lowes lake Las Vegas was amazing! A beautiful hotel in a lovely location. The staff was consistently helpful and went way above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. The staff is a huge asset! The hotel itself is everything you would expect of an upscale resort. Call well in advance for spa treatments, though. I will definitely be back.”

• Beautiful, upscale surroundings that helped make it a very relaxing vacation. Very attentive staff.
• We ate at the cafe for dinner. For the price it was more pretentious presentation than good food. Charged for a dessert we ordered but didn't receive.

“Very nice, resort-like hotel with very attentive staff. It's a little out of the way if you want to spend a lot of time at the Strip, but great for a relaxing vacation. We would definitely stay there again.”

• The ambiance was everything we needed for our R & R.
• We couldn't stay longer.

“The Lowes Hotel on Lake Las Vegas was a magnificent surprise. Sitting by the water fall fountain under the stars or after the sun came up was breathtaking. The glorious blue lake with the incredible desert mountains rising up was so peaceful.”

• They tacked on a $15/day resort fee and also charged for internet access.

“Pretty hotel several miles from the Strip. Quiet - no casino in hotel is a plus. Downside is the $15/day "resort fee" that's tacked on for stuff like phone calls and parking. I've got my own cell phone and no one in Vegas charges for parking. The kicker is that they charge $9.95/day for internet access on top of that "resort fee". Total rip off.”

“We were married here two years ago when it was the Hyatt. We returned for our anniversary and found some of the same great staff, excellent customer service and an absolutely beautiful location. The spa was great, we had a couples massage. Our meals were wonderful, and the wait staff was excellent. The hotel is about to undergo a remodel - we hope they dont change it to much.”

• Too far from airport and the strip, far from the main road.
