• Nice room.
• Non-smoking room (which was good) but had a smoking area right outside my bedroom window, room smelled like smoke all the time and made me sick!

• Very clean, very close to restaurants.
• Only problem was business center printer was broken.

“Hotel was very clean, off of the main street on a hotel street by another Marriott. Very safe, lots of families. Very little noise. Breakfast bar included eggs, bacon, potatoes, cereal, fruit, juices, coffee, yogurt, and many baked goods. Outdoor pool looked well-maintained.”

“The staff said the system showed I never checked in yet my key worked and I was in the room for 2 days? That's impossible but that was their excuse for not cleaning the room. Very bogus and very poor for a Marriott property.”

• Huge suites with furnished kitchenettes, great breakfast and wonderful staff. They really try to make you feel at home.
• Hotel is out of the way of major roads and highways.

“The staff was super-friendly, the complimentary hot breakfast was awesome. The room were suites with a living area, furnished kitchen with all appliances, sleeping area and large bathrooms. Hotel was quiet and comfortable.”

• Very clean and bright new property; large, clean and attractive rooms; nice pool, etc.
• I liked everything.

“Although difficult to find, this hotel was excellent and exceeded my expectations. This new hotel was outstanding and I would highly recommend this property to anyone. I only stayed 1 night, but I would have liked to stay longer.”

• An employee named Jennifer was excellent and very helpful - our cab driver could not find the hotel and I called to get directions.
• There was no cab service available for at least one hour both in the evening and in the morning to the airport. Very scary with a flight to catch.

“As I stated in #13, the availability of transportation was very bad. We went to eat at the Cheesecake Factory and could not get a cab to come and return us. Jennifer sent the shuttle for our return. The next morning I called three times and never did get a cab to the airport. Finally the night attendant agreed to let the maintenance person drive us to the airport @ 4:00 AM so we would not miss our flight.”

• Generous feeling, EG: free popcorn in room; free happy hour, breakfast, good local map with restaurants, grocery stores on it.
• Bathroom fan too loud, but we told them and maybe they'll fix it.

“This is a residence hotel about 10 minutes from the airport, but we stayed there for only one night. Because it was a residence hotel, it had lots of amenities that we liked full kitchen, comfortable sitting area, etc. Perhaps because they're used to long-term guests, the staff was very helpful in pointing us to neighborhood grocery stores and restaurants. And the price was quite low.”

• Great location, large, clean rooms, very friendly staff.
• Planes landing directly overhead all the time.

“Hotel is in an area for travelers with other hotels, shopping, gas, etc, close by. It's very clean. The suite has two rooms, one a sitting room with a full kitchen and tables, the other having the bed and bath. Lots of closet space and room to kick back. Staff was very friendly and responsive to questions. Check-in and check-out was handled very professionally. The hotel is directly on the flight path to the Las Vegas airport. As such, you hear planes landing all the time during the day. The walls don't shake, but you can sense the planes on approach and when they pass over, you hear them. Landings after 11 pm and before 6 am must be restricted at LAS. Sleeping was not a problem and the landings didn't keep me awake all night.”

• Taxi drivers didn't like to drive there, too far from strip for them. Better shuttle service.

“I would definitely recommend this hotel. I was lost on my way getting to the hotel, and the nice customer service agent gave me terrific directions. The maid service was extra helpful and kind as well.”

• Large suite with kitchenette, but still doesn't accommodate 2 adults 2 children. Need better pull out bed.

“Hotel staff was not friendly when I checked in. A minute later I was told that I had been moved to another Residence Inn in Hughes Center because they are overbooked. I wished I was told earlier, save me some time. When I got to the new hotel, they had to spend a few minutes looking for my transferred reservation.”

“This hotel was nice if you do not have high expectations. The room was clean however we did find a dirty glass in the sink. The lobby and hallways were dirty and carpet needed to be replaced. The continental breakfast needed to be replenished and wasn't. The parking lot had no fence and I was honestly nervous about leaving my car parked outside overnight. I thought the hotel would be close enough to the strip and it was not. I was not impressed and would not stay there again.”

“The studio with its efficiency kitchen was very comfortable and would be ideal for extended stays. The interior clean though a little dated. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return to this location or consider a Residence Inn on future travels. Very good bargain for the money.”

• I felt comfortable going to the Residence Inn as a well known name. Good value for the $.
• Very minor comment, the room decor is pretty outdated & was probably smoked in although it was marked non-smoking

“Overall, I liked having the ability to name my own price. Even though they wouldn't go as low as my price, it was still reasonable and a good value. The staff was nice & the room was clean and spacious - it was a mini suite. AND, the internet connection was free. Room had a 'frige & microwave in addition to a little TV sitting room & desk area. I would go back & I would recommend this hotel to others.”

“I have been to world class resorts and would rank this staff on the same level. They were helpful, courteous, and happy. I love the daily cookouts that gives the guests a chance to unwind and mingle in a relaxing family atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is traveling to the Las Vegas area.”

• continental breakfast was not adequately served. Very unorganized.

(ie toast and toaster was across the room from the rest of the food. Utensils were buried among the food and dishes were not easily accessible. Not enough chairs.”

“The hotel would have met all my expections if we hadn't had a problem with no hot water Saturday night 5-14-05 and had to take cold showers to leave for an appointment. Staff wasn't aware of the problem until we called and never called us back a promissed to advise us as to the problem and estimated time until solved. I have received an emial of appology from hotel upper management after I contacted Residence in custormer service.”
