• The room is spacious and clean.
• The shuttle bus from Strip back to hotel missed schedule twice. I have to take taxi back to hotel.

• No free continental breakfast and the buffet was very over priced & bus stops to early.

• Some of the staff was very friendly.
• This place was unclean and not maintained well. It was a dump.

“This hotel had dirty carpet in the entryway. The carpet in the room was filthy. The bathroom sink and bathtub drained had to be unclogged. The sheets and towels were dingy grey and the sheets were very wrinkled. Desk chair was so dirty that we would not use it to sit in. This was our second room and we were not willing to move again because we were visiting a dying friend. The first room had an overwhelming sewer smell.”

• Quiet, clean, friendly staff, close to airport, pool.
• Not on the strip, shuttle times limited, they don't pick you up, cab costs.

“We stayed at the Doubletree through 10/13/08 to 10/19/08. The rooms were clean and the staff was very courteous. They do offer shuttle service to and from the airport. They also offer shuttle service from 10am to 10pm to the MGM grand. They do not pick you up unless someone else is being shuttled to the MGM grand. So be prepared to spend $$ on cab fare to get back to the hotel. We did not eat at the sandwich shop though it did appear to be clean. Also had free internet access at the business center. They have 2 computers only once were both comps tied up. Free in room coffee was actually quite good. Its quiet and does have an Applebee's right next door. But if you want the excitement of being right on the strip this is not the place for you. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the strip from here. Average cab ride costs between 15 and 25 dollars depending on where you are where you get picked up. Highest fare was from Freemont Street. Once you get shuttled to the MGM grand you can access the monorail which gets you to a fair amount of casinos with some walking involved. The casinos look close on the map but when you are walking its a different story. Doubletree was fine for our needs. To sleep and go into town for gambling and shows. Would have been great if shuttle ran all night and they picked you up from the MGM.”

• It was fantastic. It had the most comfortable bed and was so very clean. Loved all of it.
• The little restaurant thing was pricy for food and coffee when other places offer a continental breakfast.

“The staff was fantastic. My room was so clean and the bed was luxurious. We could not have asked for better service. I loved getting on the shuttle for the strip and there was not all that cigarette smoke smell.”

• For very late night shifts, the employees were very nice.
• Charging extra for wanting a non smoking room. Ridiculous.

“We weren't there long enough to make a big impression, 2 late night employees were very friendly, day time employees were less helpful when I called in.”

• It was quiet away from yet easily accessible to the strip.

“I would highly recommend this hotel. It is away from the Strip, but readily accessible by shuttle. The area is quiet, and you don't have to fight the local traffic to get to it.”

“This hotel is quiet, nice, and out of the way, but still less than 5 minutes from the strip in Las Vegas. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable and the price was reasonable. The amenities were all top notch. This hotel far outdid the 3 star Excalibur that we stayed in the night before.”

• The Neutrogena products in the bathroom and the Wolfgang puck coffee/tea.
• The pool wasn't heated.

“The hotel was great. It would have been nice to have an early check in, but not a big deal. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. It was a really nice room with lots of space. I would recommend this hotel.”

• No "funny smell" when you walk into the room. Bedding was very comfortable!
• Like hotels where the sink is not "within" the bathroom easier to share it that way.

“We don't often stay in motel/hotels, but recently we've spent a total of about 14 nights in hotel/motels during the last month. This was the nicest one yet. Comfortable. Clean (wasn't afraid to walk around the room with my shoes off). Staff was friendly and I was given a room with 2 beds which worked out great for the 4 of us.”

• I liked the cleanliness of it and the friendly atmosphere.
• I didn't like the prices at the hotels restaurant and I didn't like the age limit and I didn't like the hotels location.

• Restaurant service was more of a snack bar.

“This hotel was a great find for us if you want to be away from the noise and crowds on the strip. It was nice and quiet with great access to the 215 freeway and paradise road. The hotel has limited food service but there are plenty choices nearby. We would definitely stay there again.”

• Beds were the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in.
• Everything was great.

“Hotel was very inexpensive for the quality of the hotel. Beds were very comfortable, rooms were big with plenty of space, parking was super convenient and hotel was close enough to the strip without the hassle of the strip (and there was shuttle service to the strip). I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends.”
