• The hotel was very clean. For the price on the weekend it was a value.
• The color scheme in the rooms was awful.

“Overall, this hotel was an excellent value for a weekend rate in Las Vegas. The bed was a little soft and the color scheme in the room was ugly but it was clean and comfortable. I would stay there again at the rate I purchased at priceline.”

• Convenient location only about 5 to 7 minute drive to the strip.
• Rooms are a little outdated when it comes to decor.

“Overall grat place for the price. Excellent location, great price, friendly staff. I would almost consider it a 3 star if it were not for the outdated room decor. Otherwise a pleasureable hotel experience!”

• Loved the kitchenette and free breakfasts.
• Everything was great, no complaints.

“If you are going to Vegas but want to be able to escape from the strip at the end of the day, this is the hotel for you. The hotel was very clean. Staff very friendly. I liked the fact it had a double bed and a couch that made into another double bed. Loved having the kitchenette.”

• I like the friendliness and help from the staff, particularly the swing shift staff member at the front desk.
• The only problem was not enough tables for the free breakfast buffet.

“I thought the hotel was perfect for my parents, who are elderly. I could park close, the front desk staff member gave me rooms on the first floor to make it easier for my parents. The buffet breakfast was good with hot food. The Jacuzzi was nice. The rooms were big with a kitchen and clean. There were snack drinks and food available for purchase by the front desk. The hotel does not have a casino but is located close to the strip and there is a casino diagonal across the nearby intersection.”

• Kitchen in the room.
• No bus connects to Las Vegas main strip.

“Overall this hotel gives you a very comfortable room and space with the kitchen in it. Although it takes 15 minutes walk to the main strip area in Las Vegas, I think it is worth it. If there is a bus to main Strip, that will be a plus.”

• When I informed the front desk that the air conditioner did not work they responded immediately to my request to move.
• The hotel should be aware working condition of equipment in their rooms.

“It was clean. Staff was friendly and fairly knowledgeable. The complimentary breakfast was good, it was hot and fresh. The location is not very far from the strip.”

• The hotel was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It had a convenient location.
• The maid service did not replace shampoo, it's a very small complaint.

“The hotel is about a mile from the strip in Las Vegas. The it's easy to drive to and from this hotel (the strip has so much traffic, and the hotel is off Paradise Avenue). The facilities are all clean and well attended (pool, Jacuzzi, fitness room). Check in was fast and courteous.”

• OMG the bed! Went out the next day and bought a new bed because the one at the hotel was so great
• They need to add more items to their "cupboard"...items to purchase if you have no time or energy to go out to eat.

• Very clean, great breakfast buffet.
• Somewhat distant from the strip (definitely not walking distance).

“The free breakfast was great. Room decorations were a bit old, but very comfortable and clean. I picked up a skin reaction (itchiness) during my stay at this hotel, which I'm not sure I got from the hotel's sheets, towels, the hotel's soap, or something else. It got a bit bad on my last couple of days. All I wanted to do was to scratch myself (arms, legs, thigh, and the sides of my lower back) when I was in the bed. It went away with an anti-itch cream I bought from Wal-Mart when I got back. My boyfriend who was also with me on this trip was fine and did not have this problem. Next time, I'll make sure I bring my own towel, wash cloth and even a sheet if possible, not just to this hotel but any that I stay in in the future.”

• Great Vegas weekend price, kitchenette, non-casino entrance, non-smoking property.
• Very offensive in-house telemarketing voicemail for timeshare property

“In general a very nice stay, decent location regarding the Strip, nice sized room, kitchenette, no smoking in/around entire building as well as rooms new Marriott policy, and easy access to rooms i.e. it's Vegas, no 3-mile hike ala the casino hotels to the elevator. Staff was exceptionally nice, turning a negative musty smelling room with nonfunctioning heat into a positive switched rooms. On the negative side, I was infuriated by the in-house telemarketing sales pitch for Marriott timeshares (I am Marriott's customer as a hotel guest, not some sales prospect!) and the hot breakfast items were kind of watery/tasteless/undercooked.”

“I loved this hotel. The room was clean, the staff was great and the bed was so soft! The breakfast and hospitality hour were delicious. The only drawback was that the pool wasn't cleaned as often as it should have been and there wasn't enough towels outside.”

• Clean, close to Las Vegas strip, and luxurious, and provides comp. Breakfast.
• No shopping. Small swimming pool.

“Outstanding. Very clean, and the rooms have a small kitchen. Free breakfast (very few hotels in Las Vegas offer that). Very friendly staff, and is it located close to Las Vegas strip. This hotel should be 3 start or more (not 2.5 starts as it is now). I was surprised that it is a "Marriot". I strongly recommend this hotel.”

• The buffet breakfast.
• I liked everything.

“The hotel is very nice and spotless. The room was nice including a good mattress on the bed. It is wonderful to have a kitchen. It would have been good to have 2 TV's, as the Olympics and many other good programs were all competing for my time.”

• Peaceful setting adjacent to spectacular green belt for after breakfast walks.
• Can't think of a thing.

“This place has it all! Beautifully decorated and simple elegance in design. The breakfast offering is one of the best we've experienced, sumptuous. The staff was always happy, parking was a joy, and the location was A+, very quiet and adjoining green spaces were tranquil for those morning and evening walks. Two thumbs up!”

• Hotel didn't have casinos, which made it quiet and neat.
• Hotel was not easy to find at night since it was not right on the main road.

“I liked complimentary breakfast and newspaper. The room was quiet, neat and cozy. Loved the fact that there was coffee maker, microwave, little sink with utensil as well as plates and cups. I think this hotel will appeal to any sensible traveler with budget conscious mind.”

• The location, in proximity to restaurants and the strip was nicer than I expected.
• I was slightly disappointed with the size of the room and no bedroom privacy.

• Best Customer Service I ever had.
• I didn't know it before.

“When I got to the hotel, I was very welcome by the employees. Then when I got to the room I feel like home. I was able to rest and enjoy the enviroment at the same time, which was the primary reason for me to come to Vegas. The check out was the easiest check out I ever had . I would definelly recomend this hotel to my friends and I would like to come back, but to stay more days.”

“We've stayed at this hotel before. Both times were very enjoyable. Breakfast is a definite perk - way better than those "continental" breakfasts. Rooms are comfortable, kitchenette is nice and convenient. A great value in Vegas.”

• The staff was very diligent and the place was very peaceful.

• The Residence Inn is not close to the strip but near the airport and smaller casinos off the strip. There is a Starbucks within walking distance.
• Some construction and sewage odor in the AM. Will probably go away when construction is finished.

“I stayed at the Residence Inn because I was leaving early the next morning for a trip to the Grand Canyon. It is off the busy, congested strip which made it easy to get on the road the next day. A very nice breakfast was served and the hotel staff were friendly. Check in and out was fast with no lines. They had a nice pool. Our room had a kitchenette and sitting area. The room was very clean and comfortable.”

• unexpectedly large room and great free breakfast
• we did not realize the hot water in the shower did not work until it was too late in the morning to do anything about it, frnt desk seemed unconcerned.

“Great hotel. A nice change from the loud casino in every other hotel lobby. The room was large and had a lot of unexpected amenities. Really swell free buffet too. The hot water in our shower did not work and was a big inconvenience. The front desk was notified but no amends were made. We did not make a big fuss though, so I guess only squeaky wheels get the grease.”
