• Our first room had dirty stained carpet. We called down to the front desk and were immediately offered a different room.
• First room carpets were dirty. Walls were thin. Could hear neighbor cursing at the TV. Vomit in the parking garage, but this was Vegas!

“This hotel had a great location and was very clean and quiet. I loved that it is a smoke free hotel and also casino free. This hotel would be great for couples or business travelers. I loved their breakfast program; it was very convenient. I would stay in this hotel again.”

“It was really close to the strip, and we did not have to waste time driving to strip. The rooms were clean. The sofa bed in the room was very uncomfortable and the blanket provided for the sofa bed was not good.”

“This was a nice place to stay. The room was well appointed and spacious. I did not appreciate the $10.00 fee for wired Internet (many less expensive hotels/motels offer free service). The technology was not what we have seen lately (flat screen TVs and free wireless Internet. There was no view but the amenities were more than adequate.

• Clean, comfortable, attractive, friendly staff, amenities included coffee maker, refrigerator, pool, and gym.
• Location; it's a bit of a walk (even to the monorail station).

“The Marriott Suites were clean, comfortable, and attractive. Unlike the nearby casinos, the focus was on making us feel at home. Coffee makers and in-room refrigerators were provided, which is very abnormal for Las Vegas where the focus is on getting you into the casinos. Of course, there is no smoky casino located at the facilities, but a nearby monorail station can get you to most anywhere along the Strip in minutes. During this trip, my wife and I stayed at the Plaza (on Fremont Street) and the Luxor. Without a doubt, the only hotel that I would seek out again is the Marriott Suites. It was a pleasure to stay there.”

• It had a business area, with a computer and free internet access.
• Cockroach infestation, bad location, handicap room, rude staff (one guy laughed at me), over priced, no bath tub ( handicap room), stains on the rug.

“My experience was horrible. There was a cockroach in my room, the size of a small mouse. Some of the staff was nice, but one guy thought it was funny that I complained about the cockroach. When I complained about the room, they offered to give me a free breakfast (that I turned down). I don't believe that hotel deserves a three star rating; and if I wanted cockroaches in my room I would have chosen a one star hotel. I would never return to that hotel, besides it has a really bad location.”

“Staff was not very good at giving transportation info. When asked how other people usually get around the town, all she said was people spend a lot of money with taxi. This was not true since there was a monorail station just one block from the hotel. Also, she informed us that we had to walk around 4 miles to go to the main strip which was actually 0.4 miles. Not helpful at all!”

“We were surprised at the size of the rooms. We've stayed at many of the casino/hotels and the room at this hotel was a huge improvement. We will definitely be planning more stays with this chain. Thank you for making our weekend get-a-way one to remember!”

• I liked that it was away from LV hustle but close enough to get to easily.
• There were no less expensive options for dining than the main dining room, which for feeding kids was expensive-hot chocolate pack was $3.

“This Marriot was consistent with all other in it's chain. Everything was clean and comfortable. Staff was pleasant and helpful there was a small fridge in the room which was nice for the kids. It was nice to have a separate room for the kids with their own TV. Pool was small but adequate. Although in Las Vegas it seemed untouched by the LV lifestyle. Nice when visiting with kids. Food was expensive but there were other options close by.”

• The pool was a little small.

“The room was beautiful and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was always friendly and the parking was easy. I enjoy Las Vegas and this was a great way to be close to everything without the hassle of the strip with limited parking and huge crowds.”

• Wish they had continental breakfast and larger pool area.

“I would definitely stay there again. I felt very comfortable and the bed was very relaxing. I slept like a baby. It was quiet and well maintained. I would have appreciated a continental breakfast and a better view (I saw nothing but construction).”

• Pretty hotel, Nicely dressed beds, Great bath products, Close to monorail.
• No pricing on items in mini bar, Not a lot of lighting between monorail and hotel.

“The room was very clean, spacious and properly laid out. The only two downfalls were a slightly blurry TV in the living room and no pricing on the items in the mini bar. When heading out to the strip, we noticed it was only about a block to walk to the Monorail station. With a payment of $9, we had unlimited rides up and down the strip for one day and since the monorail is elevated, it is not slowed by traffic and a ride end to end of the strip only takes 20 minutes at max. The only problem was that when returning to the hotel late at night, there is not a lot of lighting between the Monorail stop and the hotel.”

• The room was spacious, quiet. The bed and pillows were comfortable.
• Scent of smoke in the room. The maid apparently didn't flush after using out toilet.

“Check in was a breeze. The staff was courteous and friendly. The room was great. I loved the separate bedroom with French doors. It was very quiet; I didn't hear a thing while in the room. The bed and pillows were comfortable. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.”

“The Marriott Suites Hotel in Vegas is an all-suite, non-smoking hotel. The property is clean and well-maintained. It has a 24 hour fitness facility and an outdoor pool. High speed internet is available for $9.95 per day. It is wired and also includes free local calls and free long distance within the US. The location is about 4 blocks from the strip, but it is in a area surrounded by a couple of other more run down properties. It is located right between where the older strip starts and the newer strip ends. It met my expectations for a three star property.”

• Holiday Inn in San Francisco was terrible.

“Holiday Inn employee in San Francisco was not kind and they game me the rooms away from the parking lot even though they had rooms in the main building. No parking space enough in the other building out of main parking lot.”

• We loved the bed, sheets and duvet cover and also the separate bedroom.
• Across the street from the hotel there was a lot of construction equipment.

“It was a very nice suite hotel with a separate bedroom closed off with French doors, very classy looking. It had a nice size living area with love seat, chair and nice desk. There was also a small refrigerator. The toilet & tub was separate from the sink area which was nice for privacy issues. We will definitely stay there again.”

“An older hotel it seems but well cared for (well maintained). Suite rooms were great for family with children. Hallways were clean, lounging area were comfortable and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful with directions. Close to freeways and easy to find. Secured parking at night. Really safe for tenants.”

• The suite was surprisingly nice, very comfortable and modern. I only wish we had had more time there. Checked in at midnight and out the next morning.
• It was in Las Vegas, but had no gambling in the hotel.

“This was a very nice hotel for a surprisingly low cost on a Saturday night in Las Vegas. We had a great view of the strip from our room. Well worth the money.”

• Very annoying, no internet provided, no free water.

“The hotel was fine but the bad thing was there was no free internet and it costs almost 20 bucks to get internet into room, and the location is somehow a run down area so its a bit far from any stores or things to do, but its alright.”
