• Great location, quiet, clean.
• The pool is small and dirty.

“No nonsense, a block away from the action, clean, comfortable, simple casino and a delicious, if expensive, restaurant. I would stay here again no problem.”

• Very friendly personnel.
• At check in they informed us to pay an additional $15.00 per day for amenities charge.

“The hotel was fine, location was fine, within walking distance of everything. Felt safe. I was not at all happy when we checked it they said we would be charged an additional $15.00 per day per room for an amenities charge.”

• I loved the bed and the comforters.

“I had a wonderful stay at the Westin. The room was given had an awesome view of The Strip. It was clean and comfortable and the shower was awesome. The bed was so comfortable my husband and I both wanted to take the bed home with us! We slept so well, we almost didn't want to get out of bed. I would definitely staying there again.”

• It had a Starbucks in the lobby (even though it was way overpriced).
• The location, the staff, the pool was terrible (one look and I didn't go in). Worst experience in a long time.

“This way by far one of the worst experiences I have had in a long time. The only other one worse was a motel that the shower head fell out of the wall and the toilet wouldn't flush. The bed was comfortable and that was the only thing going for it. The road work was loud all night long, they had the entrance blocked and lanes shut down making it nearly impossible to get in and out. The pool was disgusting. The staff was rude. I have never felt this way all the times I stayed at the New York, the Marriott, or even a La Quinta Inn or Holiday Express. I would have had a much more pleasant stay at a Holiday Express.”

• The beds were great and we loved the double headed shower too!
• The restaurant was too expensive for breakfast.

“We liked that it was close to the strip. It was clean, smoke free and relaxing. We would stay again because we loved the bed! The double headed shower was great too, but the bathroom needed a fan.”

• Decent location.
• Dogs allowed, barking in next room. Dirty bathtub, thin walls.

“Small gambling area, not too crowded and pretty good restaurant. Rooms were nothing special. Very thin walls, we could hear the barking dog (the hotel apparently allows pets, which we were not aware of) in the next room.”

• Service was decent.

“The hotel in itself is not bad, however it is definitely not a four star hotel. There were signs of wear and tear everywhere, from the elevators to the bathrooms. Also, the room was small and the bathroom was tiny. The beds and pillows were comfortable though. My main gripe was the $15/day resort fee which was tacked on at the end. It would have been nice to have been informed of this fee beforehand.”

• Very comfortable bed and rooms.
• The shower needed to be fixed, water flow was poor.

“This hotel was a perfect place to stay while visiting Las Vegas. The room was very relaxing. There was an honor bar in the room as well as an in room safe. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again.”

• Friendly front desk staff.
• Bathroom was
  dirty and sink backed up.

“The front desk staff was very courteous and friendly. There were 4 inch holes in the hotel room floor that were covered with a thin carpet only- felt like drain holes. Also the sink backed up whenever anyone in an adjoining room showered or flushed the toilet and left nasty brown residue in the sink.”

“Very small rooms with stained carpets and actually called house keeping to come to room to clean the door. The ice machine sprung a leak and footprints from the wet carpets in hallway and the elevators there for three days.”

• The bed is very nice.
• Noisy, thin walls, can hear doors closing and opening.

“The hotel is not a 4 star. You can hear planes take off and doors and conversations outside the room. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay there.”

• Bathrooms were nice beds were comfortable valet staff outside were terrific.
• Too far from the strip, hard to get a cab because of this and to far to walk anywhere if wearing high heels.

“Nice hotel for business travelers or for staying just one night. It is clean and all staff people I dealt with were extremely nice.”

“Its a great value at the price. We used the casino and found it uncrowded and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Room was a little dated and the internet did not work for us.”

• Off the Las Vegas Strip a bit, felt safe with my kids.
• Overcharged for free parking at $16.11/day.

“The pool was closed, the hot tub did not have a functioning motor so the bubbles were not there, and the shower in our room had to be fixed for an hour at midnight on our third night to attempt to have hot water. The shower was not repaired & we had no hot water on night #3.”

• Location and surcharges.

“The hotel staff was friendly and professional. Having a Starbucks inside the hotel was a HUGE plus. We will not recommend anyone to use it due to their lack of customer service when I called to complain.”

“The heater wasn't working at first, it was blowing cold air but the next day we turned on the air conditioner and left the room and when we came back it was over 80 degrees in the room because it was blowing hot air. Apparently you can't use both the heater and air conditioner.”

• Friendly, classy atmosphere, helpful staff, attentive.
• Suede restaurant overpriced food not that great.

“Overall an excellent alternative to the higher priced strip hotels. Great location, good service classy lobby, nicely designed. Comfortable, well appointed rooms. Comfortable beds. Excellent staff and service. A bit disappointed with the Suede Restaurant. Had breakfast there. Ala carte eggs and OJ. Had to send the eggs and the toast back, they were cold, a bit slow on the service and a bit pricey. I know they feature the buffet and I can't comment on that as we decided on just the ala carte menu, but I was disappointed with the food. Oh well, maybe we just got a bad day. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone, besides the one disappointment (which could happen anywhere), we had a great time and were treated with class. Thanks.”

“ Quite a ways off the strip. Not many amenities. Wanted to eat at about 11pm and nothing was open, had to order room service. Really annoyed with the $15 services fee they added on. They said it was for pool, spa and business center.

• Convenient to all meetings scheduled for this trip.
• Charged an additional $16.50 per day for hotel amenities which I could not take advantage of.

“This hotel was wonderful but the last day I found a charge for over $80.00 extra for hotel amenities. I was upset and had them take this off my bill as I was not aware of this extra charge.”

• Decent location.

“Hotel is a bit older & will be ready for a complete renovation in the coming years (poor room & bathroom ventilation, poor drainage in tub, hideous wallpaper, etc.) But overall was nice & perfectly adequate. Moderate walking distance to the strip, maybe 1/2 mile or so, but not much going on in the direct vicinity. Have problems with the hotel which put a minor damper on our stay; The hotel staff only moderately helpful.”

“This hotel is not 4 star quality, maybe only 3 1/2 star. They don't have 24 hour restaurants so you are forced to order room service after 11pm. They also have a $15 mandatory service charge per night.”

• Suade too expensive restaurant.

“We liked it very much. We are seniors and wife has asthma, so no smoking was great. We don't think any of the larger hotels would have suited us as much. We stayed at Plant Hollywood one night and it is not our style. We would stay at the Westin again and would recommend it. Staff were helpful and courteous.”

• I liked the location as it was of the strip and quiet.
• The hallways needed a good cleaning.

“This hotel suited our needs perfectly; it was off the strip but a only a short distance away from the action. We enjoyed having Starbucks on site. The only complaint: the rooms and hallways were dark and in need if updating. The hallways were in need of a very good cleaning.”

• Beds were very comfortable!
• I expected better from a Westin Hotel; the room smelled like old carpet.

“The hotel was okay, but if I had a choice again, I would not stay there. The staff seemed new and could not answer my questions about local items. The room smelled like old carpet, although the beds were very comfy. The room had a steady shake as if a generator was beneath us. All in all, I expected better from the Westin Hotel chain as I have stayed at a Westin in San Diego and it was AWESOME! This was Las Vegas so my expectations were high and I was disappointed.”

• Decor, cleanliness, always good quality in every city, green tea lotion.
• We were on an airline floor and thus, Westin
  would not stock our mini-bar.

“Westin has come to mean great and equal quality to my sister and I who travel together often. We love the heavenly bed, heavenly shower, products, hotel decor, food etc. and will always choose a Westin over another chain when possible.”

• No smoking anywhere even the casino, and maids were GREAT.
• One mature bell hop comment was inappropriate.

“This was a very pleasant and relaxing place to stay in Vegas and very close to Bally's and Bills casinos. A no smoking environment was a breath of fresh air after some smoky places. The room did not have a sunken tub or whirlpool tub in the room but the shower and tub and other creature comforts good. View from room not like the Paris or Bellagio,or a on strip lighted view but calm and quite atmosphere”

“The hotel is not a Las Vegas themed hotel, but it was fine. The small casino in the lobby was fun, and the room was clean. The shower was great, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly. The only drawback was that it wasn't on the strip.”

• It's proximity to major attractions on the Las Vegas strip.
• The staff was cold and impersonal.

“This hotel was not in any way noteworthy. The good news is that means there was nothing wrong with it (everything was competently taken care of). The bad news is that there was nothing about it that would make me recommend it. It exists purely as a place to keep your stuff and sleep when you're not otherwise occupied in other locations.”

“The hotel was very noisy, with poor sound-proofing. I was on the 11th floor and could easily hear the street noise. Room was not cleaned after 1 of the 3 nights I stayed there.”

• The location is nice and Westin is pet friendly hotel.
• This is a very old hotel, and definitely not a 4 star hotel.

“Good location and pet friendly. They can take pets up to 60 lbs, and only 35 dollars one time fee for your stay. Also, staff are very friendly. Their bed is very comfortable. Hotel is old, and the bathroom tub is dirty. Fire alarm went off at 5:30 in the morning on my second day of stay.”

• The room was nice.

“ We ate at the restaurant and my wife got food poisoning and was sick for 24 hours. The one manager who was very nice in letting us check out late and offering anything we needed. Checking out I noticed the reimbursement for the cab ride wasn't there and had to wait 90 minutes while they figured it out. And whoever that manager was never even came out of the back room. I will never go back to that hotel, and for a 4-star I was not happy at all. ”
