“This hotel is fine for business travel the rooms are attractive. The staff is rude. They put a $15 per day plus tax on the charge card without EVER discussing there was going to be a fee just to breathe the air in the hotel. I complained and got it taken off. The location is fine, the bathroom is fine. I didn't use any other facilities.” Sep 29, 2009 by
Mickey from Springville,UT
“We only stayed one night. However, I would stay at the Weston again.” Sep 24, 2009 by
Dwayne from Escondido,CA
“It was a nice hotel, had a great location and was the star level Sep 24, 2009 by
Marina from Woodland Hills,CA
“I got this hotel at Priceline. I thought I got a good deal, 4 star on the strip. Well, the hotel is definitely not a 4 star, not anywhere near, and not on the strip, although it is only couple of blocks away. I came with my kids, it would have been perfect as hotel is really quiet and not smoky. Room was small, as was the bathroom. Furniture was ugly, carpet stained. Pool was really tiny. Restaurant did not look nice at all. The only thing was a really short walk from parking to the room, unlike other places we stayed at in Vegas.” Sep 16, 2009 by
Sherry from Ivins,UT
“The staff was very friendly and helpful. They keep it too cold though. By the time We got to our room I was freezing.” Sep 16, 2009 by
Wendy from Simi Valley,CA
“Cozy.” Sep 16, 2009 by
Caleb from Lake Oswego,OR
“Good hotel if you want to get away from the craziness. You don't have to walk for hours to get to your room and they do have the free drinks and chips at the happy hour.” Sep 14, 2009 by
Vikas from Jersey City,NJ
“Hotel does not have a decent casino. It was good for Business travelers and not for vacation.” Sep 11, 2009 by
Michael from Walnut,CA
“Good service and willing to upgrade to suite by tipping check in clerk.” Sep 9, 2009 by
Ken from Flagstaff,AZ
“Clean, but not fancy by Vegas standards. Probably good for business travelers, not so much for families. Staff was not the best. Tried to charge me extra. Won't seek this hotel out on next trip, but it was close to the monorail stop at the Flamingo once we found it. Would not consider it a 4 star hotel.” Sep 9, 2009 by
Marilyn from Clarenville,Canada
“I checked in at the front desk on Friday and got the key and left just so they couldn't rent the room to someone else. I ended up staying at the Luxor instead on Friday night. Saturday night we decided to actually stay at the Westin and we wanted to go for a swim, bad idea. I refused to get in the pool. The towels were dirty. There was garbage laying all around the pool. In the pool was toilet paper. It just reined the night for me. The staff were friendly, the casino was quiet and the restaurant was nice. The elevators smelled like pets. The halls smelled like pets. The cleaning ladies were cleaning all day/night long and were loud.” Sep 6, 2009 by
Juan from Los Angeles,CA
“The stay was comfortable, I did not like the fact that I was charged some fee at check-out, that I was not aware about.” Sep 3, 2009 by
Lorenzo from Higland,CA
“Beware this is a dog friendly hotel, my wife and I had to listen to barking dogs all night. Other then that the room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. I was disappointed that the strip was a long walk, especially in the Vegas heat 105 degrees when we were there.” Aug 25, 2009 by
Stephen from Dallas,TX
“If you are looking for a nice property away from the strip, consider this one. Casino was small and dealers were very laid back. Service fee gives access to spa and pool which are both well worth it.” Aug 19, 2009 by
Tom from San Francisco,CA
“Off the strip, nice rooms. All public areas smelled of smoke. Zero Vegas energy as the hotel seemed more like a ghost town than a casino. Additionally, this is the first time ever that a hotel hit me with a per-night service fee that was not included in the room fee.” Aug 19, 2009 by
Ryan from Lake Forest,CA
“This hotel would meet my expectations for a three star hotel. It was billed as a four star, which I found rather lacking. There is a small casino area, a pool, a restaurant and a spa. None of it really stood out.” Aug 18, 2009 by
Jesse from Yuma,AZ
“The staff was execellent, the building needs maint.” Aug 10, 2009 by
Chuck from Alta Loma, CA
“Beautiful ski in, ski out lodging. Year-round outdoor pool and hot tub were terrific. Outdoor Grills were easy to use. The kids had a blast. The staff was friendly but slow when given a request. The best part of our stay was this location right on the mountain and in the center of the action. Plan to go again!” Aug 7, 2009 by
Jason from Alhambra,CA
“This is a quiet hotel for the vegas area. You will get a good nites sleep. The casino is not too crowded. Most of the staff is friendly.” Aug 5, 2009 by
Nathan from Tempe,AZ
“This hotel should not allow pets end of story. Many people have severe allergies like myself. I will not stay at this establishment again and may never use priceline again simply because of this experience. It was horryfying and I almost ended up in the hospital with an athsma attach.” Aug 4, 2009 by
Nathan from Ogden,UT
“The Westin Casuarina Las Vegas is nicely decorated, has a decent small casino, and has a fairly good location right off the Strip. However, the room wasn't very clean and the shower EXTREMELY moldy. The hallways had stains and debris. For as much as I paid for this 4* property, I expected much more. I was definitely disappointed.” Jul 25, 2009 by
Emily from Pahrump,NV
“Our room had a popcorn ceiling with cobwebs stuck in it. It does not have a mini fridge that you can use. There is one in the room, but if you pop the seal, even to put leftovers in it and not take their things, you get charged. We checked in an hour after check in was allowed and there were only 2 people at the desk - long lines! It was an OK place to stay, the bed was very comfortable.” Jul 18, 2009 by
Trish from Tacoma,WA
“I like the hotel, I would stay there again.” Jul 17, 2009 by
Lisa from Tampa,FL
“The hotel was next to a bar and convenience store off of the main strip. Not such a good neighborhood. The room was small and nothing special. Hotel staff were helpful. The room was clean. A 2.5 star rating for Vegas.” Jul 17, 2009 by
Hollie from Griffith,IN
“From the beginning this trip was a disaster. Room would not reach a temperature over 67 degrees even with space heaters brought into the room. Shower didn't work. Was relocated into another room that somebody already occupied. Hotel tried charging for space heaters. Hotel charged a daily room service fee which I'm not sure why. Pool was small and didn't have an outside bar.” Jul 10, 2009 by
D. Jones from Lancaster,CA
“The hotel staff was wonderful. Pool & Jacuzzi too small. Spa facility was nice, had no Jacuzzi. Small casino in lobby so it's not too busy and easy to get to elevators to rooms without going through a mile of the hotel when you're tired. Not a lot of great views from the rooms. Overall OK hotel.” Jul 8, 2009 by
Michell from Miami,FL
“Overall staff was excellent. Hotel needs some upgrades. Had musty old smell, very small elevators, hallways could use better lighting, worst part was hearing cleaning crew about 9 am vacuuming, moving furniture, and hearing voices through the walls. Hard to sleep in. Location was excellent, and within walking distance of everything.” Jun 30, 2009 by
Luci from San Diego,CA
“Good location. Not to the levels of the resorts in Vegas.” Jun 24, 2009 by
Gary from Dublin,OH
“Hotel is more like a 3 star hotel instead of 4 star one. Customer service is good not great.” Jun 24, 2009 by
Chris from San Diego,CA
“Dirty. The carpet was ripped and stained, the room smelled like dogs. The front desk checked us into a room 3 doors down from an active police incident (we requested and were granted a room change).” Jun 20, 2009 by
Mimi from Morgan Hill,CA
“It was clean and close enough to the strip. However, there was a hotel service charge of $30+ that we didn't know about.” Jun 19, 2009 by
Lori from Glendale,AZ
“The only reason to stay at the Westin Casuarian is if it was the last hotel with rooms in Vegas. Rooms at Xcaliber, Flamingo and other low brow hotels on the strip would be a better.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jun 19, 2009 by

“This hotel is not the star quality as indicated. We waited almost an hour to check in, very small casino and most games were closed, our room had mold in the bathroom and our TV didn't shut off. Getting to the strip required quite a walk and you had to go past an empty lot (except for vagrants and empty bottles) which made interesting for walking back to the hotel at night. On top of that they charged us a service fee to stay at their hotel that made it pricier per night than to stay at a true 4 star on the strip at regular price. Don't bother! They didn't when we told them our concerns.” Jun 18, 2009 by
Jen from Wellington,FL
“The hotel was over rated and there was unexpected fee (resort fee) and internet was not free.” Jun 12, 2009 by
Cyndi from Simi Valley,CA
“Good location, walking distance from the Strip. Not a Vegas Jun 9, 2009 by

“This hotel was horrible. There was no soap in the room for the first 2 days. The safe was missing from the room and they could not find a replacement. They also charged a $15/day resort fee for no discernible service. When I told the manager about my unhappiness, he refused to do anything and said he was OK with a bad review because no one reads them. Avoid this place if you can.” Jun 4, 2009 by
Steve from Cedar Park,TX
“Door frames off, had to change room due to horrible body odor smell, shower leaking, just poorly maintained property. Stains in hallway carpets will never stay at this hotel.” Jun 3, 2009 by
chandrasekhar from Arlington,TX
“the worst 4 star experience........bathroom was very bad... water in the tub is not soaking... complained twice... no one too see that.... they came when i am checking out....unnecessary fees ......they say that these fees are not included at the time of reservation... they are charged at the time of authorisation of card and check in....now i understand how do u and they do business” Jun 3, 2009 by
Bill from Surprise,AZ
“This is a 3 star hotel in a prime off strip location. The hotel is definitely not 4 stars. It barely has 4 star amenities and a lot of the hotel is run down or unkempt. The pool area is nice but very small for an 800 room hotel. Supposedly the hotel is non-smoking, but the casino does allow smoking and that seems to empower smokers to light up through out the hotel.” Jun 3, 2009 by
Hitomi from San Diego,CA
“Charged a resort fee of $13 that still did not include internet access.” Jun 2, 2009 by
Angie from Anaheim,CA
“Very comfortable and relaxing room with great bath products and excellent beds. Would definitely stay there again.” Jun 2, 2009 by

“They tried to charge me a 16 hotel fee in addition to price line's fees. The man at check in said this fee was optional if we wanted to use the hotel services. We declined but they charged us anyway. The man at checkout said he would reverse the charge but was still charged for it! We ordered breakfast and it was supposed to take 30 minutes. It was so late that we had to cancel the order and eat elsewhere.” May 31, 2009 by
Sharon from Shelton,CT
“This hotel is located a huge block from the strip. There´s a lot of construction going on 24/7 in the area and the noise is crazy. We wanted to stay on the strip however, it is a 15 minute walk, through construction. The hotel itself is not anything more than 3 stars. The casino is tiny. There are all those beautiful hotels for the same price or less, on the strip, and paying the same price for the Causarina was terrible! Ugly, poor location, at best 2.5 stars. Never again!” May 22, 2009 by
Liz from Provo,UT
“It was a very nice hotel. The workout room was clean. The bedding was comfortable and very clean (I almost always remove any comforter in hotels, but I actually slept under it here). The bathroom had plenty of towels, but there was no key to the mini bar in the room. Negatives would be the $16/night charge assessed at check in. Overall it was very nice for a two night vacation.” May 21, 2009 by
Paul from Irvine,CA
“Just slightly off the strip, but still very conveniently located, this business class hotel is the perfect place to stay to be in Vegas without all the crowds and hassle that often accompany Vegas.” May 21, 2009 by
Kevin from San Diego,CA
“Hotel was good.” May 17, 2009 by
Jeremy from Jacksonville,FL
“Security issues at this hotel; somebody was in my room while I was sleeping. I will never stay at a Weston.” May 7, 2009 by
Eric from San Francisco,CA
“No nonsense, a block away from the action, clean, comfortable, simple casino and a delicious, if expensive, restaurant. I would stay here again no problem.” Apr 30, 2009 by
Suzanne from Vernon,Canada
“Very comfortable and well appointed room.” Hotel Representatives:
