“I only stay at hotels that are 4 star or higher, so I expected this to be the quality I am used to, it wasn't. The beds sheets/comforters were low quality, the floor had a hole in it and I tripped on it, the door handle was broken so it took 4 or 5 tries every time to get in to the room, the TV remote didn't work and one of the lights was out. I complained and they upgraded me to a nicer room free of charge. That "suite" was poorly lit, still low quality bedding, and the heater was broken. I spent the whole night shivering and had to call maintenance twice and it still was never corrected. I would NEVER stay there again.” Aug 2, 2009 by
Lisa from Elkhart,IN
“Nice hotel but the room was not a four star. Definitely needs updated, the bed was old and soft, carpet was worn and the wallpaper was coming loose. Most four stars have nicer TV's and free movies. Could use a coffee pot. The pool was okay, the one pool was closed for a day due to something floating in it. This was our 38th wedding anniversary and when we asked for a complimentary meal we were told no. Even terrible gives complimentary meal tickets.” Jul 27, 2009 by
from San Diego,CA
“Don't do it!” Jul 24, 2009 by
Tom from Calgary,Canada
“We enjoyed the Luxor and the price we paid was very good. We found this hotel was very smokey compared to the other howels/casinos.” Jul 20, 2009 by
Catherine from Fayetteville,GA
“I would love the opportunity to stay here again. The rooms were outstanding, the location was great, and the entertainment was fun!!” Jul 10, 2009 by
Stephanie from Bakersfield,CA
“The lobby/casino of the Luxor was cool and quite impressive. It was clean and there is a lot to do without leaving the hotel. Registration was always busy, so arrive early and be prepared to wait 20-60 minutes checking in. Also, there is a $12 resort fee charge per day. Not sure what it's really for, but you pay it upfront. Our room was in the pyramid. It was good sized and had a nice view. Room was a little outdated and the bed wasn't anything special. Bathroom was nice and it had a large shower. Only real problem was housekeeping never came even after 2 phone calls. The hotel made it up to us by returning the resort fee charge. The Luxor wasn't as bad as a lot of people make it sound(at least it wasn't for us), but the rooms are definitely not a 4 star quality. A quick side note, use the valet. The attendants were awesome! Very friendly and willing to help any way they could.” Jul 10, 2009 by
Larry from Rancho Cucamonga,CA
“Everything was enjoyable and convenient.” Jul 4, 2009 by
Greg from Austin,TX
“Very nice hotel, very pleasant staff. Was upgraded to deluxe suite without asking or needing to. Room was spacious, cool (very hot outside), and very nice. Swimming pool was a little on the small side, though they do have 3 pools.” Jul 4, 2009 by
kay from Milwaukee,WI
“The luxor is almost like two seperate hotels, between the pyramid and the towers. The pyramid rooms are noisy, dirty, and dark. We were originally in those rooms and forced them to upgrade us to the tower rooms, it was a world of difference.” Jul 4, 2009 by
from Mullica Hill,NJ
“The Luxor is old and stinky, the shades are ripped, the floor is in a deplorable condition and the buffet is gross. It was a big let down.” Jul 2, 2009 by
Ann from Farmington Hills,MI
“Very young and out of control guests. Hotel was shabby.” Jul 1, 2009 by
Phil from Palmdale,CA
“The Luxor Las Vegas is a horrible hotel. Do not stay here. There was a 12 dollar mandatory hotel charge for the phone and bottled water that we were told we would find in our room. The room floor was dirty, the shower contained hair from one of the previous guest. They did send a house keeper to vacuum but it took 3 hours. The parking is horrible.” Jun 27, 2009 by
Deb from Wimberley,TX
“Just OK. Beware of mandatory fees for unwanted services.” Jun 25, 2009 by
Dianne from Yorba Linda,CA “They charged a 10 dollar resort fee on top of what I had to pay.” Jun 23, 2009 by
Brandie from Kingman,AZ
“The room was warm (air conditioning unit not working well - room not very pleasant). The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The hotel staff was unfriendly and not very helpful.” Jun 23, 2009 by
Mark from Lucas,TX
“The pool area was very rowdy, my children were afraid to even go down to it. The room was disgusting. There were several spots on the carpet. The walls and curtains had water spots everywhere. The corridors were very dark and dingey. There was one elevator for our floor, it took forever for it to get to us. This was supposed to be a 4 star hotel. Definitely closer to a 2 star rating.” Jun 20, 2009 by
Tracy from Incline Village,NV
“The Luxor is a worn out hotel located at the end of the strip it is a $13.00 cab ride to get to Ceasars each way. The rooms are dirty (I had black mold on my shower ledge). The tower rooms are better than being stuck in the pyramid.” Jun 19, 2009 by
Rose from San Diego,CA
“Great hotel for the price, pretty quiet, but expect to really get in some walking as it is on the end of the strip there is a monorail that is located nearby, that helps you get around. Jun 15, 2009 by
Stacey from Norman,OK
“There were a lot of drunk 20-somethings running around always. We had to walk past a club to get to our room which was impossible on Friday and Saturday night. The slot machines did not pay anything. Paid $30 for a couple of hot dogs. We only stayed at Luxor to sleep.” Jun 12, 2009 by
Jack from Surprise,AZ
“This is the first time we stayed at The Luxor. We found the experience to our liking. The hotel staff is friendly and eager to make sure your stay is enjoyable.” Jun 11, 2009 by
Ciara from San Francisco,CA
“The Hotel was in a convenient location. It felt old and a little drab, but the layout of the rooms are nice and I loved the big bathroom.” Jun 11, 2009 by
Blake from Greensburg,IN
“The staff were not all that friendly, I did not feel that it was worthy of a four star rating. I have stayed in numerous four star hotels and this hotel is just not there.” Jun 10, 2009 by
Bill from Richland,WA
“Rundown hotel that was in need of a face lift.” May 26, 2009 by
Brenda from Norco,CA

“The room was so poorly lighted, I could not see to read , plus the walk from the room to the casino was seemingly long.” May 8, 2009 by
Mark from Centerville,GA
“A very busy place but they seemed to have their act together for any and everything you as a traveler would need.” May 2, 2009 by
Deepak from Apple Valley,MN
“Overall, a good place to stay in Vegas. The service was good though the bathroom sink clogged up in both the rooms we had.” Apr 24, 2009 by
Jon from Woburn,MA
“Luxor is good budget strip property but I don't think it meets quality standards of a 4-star property. The pool is great and the front desk people are generally friendly but there's some major flaws. The parking lot is long walk from your room no matter where you are. It takes a day at the hotel just to learn your way around. Housekeeping was less than efficient while we were there and never came to clean our room.” Apr 16, 2009 by
Vandana from Vancouver,Canada
“I would never stay in this hotel again nor recommend it to anyone. We could not even get extra pillows until the next day because they had none. No comfortable bed either, it was a horrible experience.” Apr 14, 2009 by
Tiffany from Hoffman Estates,IL
“My room was filthy. There were dirty glasses and other items left by previous guests. The carpet was coming up off the floor in the hallway. The windows were dirty. I would not stay here again. They are not maintaining the building at all. The elevators were falling apart. There were holes in some of the walls.” Apr 13, 2009 by
Jang from Northridge,CA
“Overall the room is very dirty and old. Not a 4 stars hotel, location was really far from other main hotels. Avoid this hotel if you can.” Apr 10, 2009 by
Marcy from St. Anthony,IN
“Great location! Nice casino! The rooms could have been cleaned a little better!” Apr 6, 2009 by
Aaron from Cortaro,AZ
“This hotel is nice on the outside, the room are OK, but no modern look to the room. Don't expect any help from the staff if you have any issues or problems.” Apr 4, 2009 by
Billie from Seabeck,WA
“The early warning alarm went off at 1 in the moriningion for 45 minutes. There was no information for the guests, as to if we needed to start down the 22 floors. The first night was not a good experience.” Mar 31, 2009 by
Donna from Calverton,NY
“I was very disappointed with the quality of the room. It was very dark, and appeared to be dirty.” Mar 27, 2009 by
Eileen from Placentia,CA
“I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room in the Luxor Tower. It was my first time requesting for a non - smoking room in Vegas where I couldn't smell smoke from other rooms or previous guests.” Mar 25, 2009 by
Hollywood from Phoenix,AZ
“Check in was super easy. I thought staff was great. Rooms were clean, very outdated, carpets are stained, bedding was very worn as well as the furniture. It was very dark in the room and I had every light on. The room was close to elevator and casino. Noise level was fine however my friend could hear music early from the pool as we were right above the pool. We went to the buffet and it was good.” Mar 16, 2009 by
Darrell from Lipan,TX
“We were told upon arrival that they only had one bellhop and he was busy. There was a tray of food left outside of our room from the previous guest until we called that night to have it removed. We were on the sixth floor and could not sleep until around 4 am when the night club closed. Overall, the hotel is rundown and difficult to navigate.” Mar 14, 2009 by
Kevin from Springville,UT
“A hotel that needs to accept a lower rating or make some dramatic improvements.” Mar 9, 2009 by
Jeff from Charlotte,NC
“Hotel has some nice shows and shops. Hotel is adjacent to a shopping mall with a variety of restaurants, shops, etc. Good night life located in hotel.” Mar 6, 2009 by
William from Topeka,KS
“The room, hallways, elevators and general surroundings were outdated and worn. The service was adequate.” Mar 5, 2009 by
Keith from Durango,CO
“We stayed at the Luxor about 10 years ago and had a great stay. I would guess that these rooms have not been updated at all since then. We actually had to walk down a hallway that had concrete floors and only sheet rock on the walls for about 30 yards. Calling this hotel a 4-star does a disservice to your customers.” Mar 4, 2009 by
Linda from Wharton,TX
“I would not stay at the Luxur hotel again, it falls way short of my experiences at other Las Vegas hotels.” Feb 22, 2009 by
Marc from Fairfield,CA
“The east tower room are nowhere near 4 star level. Misleading.” Feb 19, 2009 by
Kelvin from Seattle,WA
“Luxor's casino is great but the hotel was sold out that night and my room was on the 1st floor right in front of Starbucks, at 6 am Starbucks speaker was blasting right into my room. At night there was so much noise because it's right next to the casino so it's loud. Never stay on the 1st floor of this hotel.” Feb 17, 2009 by
from Pasadena,TX
“The hotel itself was outstanding, the staff unfortunately was less so. The only staff that seemed pleasant were the housekeepers and the valets. The desk staff seemed either disgruntled or just uninterested, not blaming given the volume of people that must be dealt with, just pointing it out.” Feb 16, 2009 by
Sandeep from Woodbridge,NJ
“Good food and staffWeird location of rooms” Feb 5, 2009 by
Heather from Valencia,CA
“The Luxor was a decent hotel. I've stayed just about everywhere in Veags. It was half-remodeled and disjointed. The rooms were clean and the casino was large.” Jan 27, 2009 by
Brian from Clearwater,FL
“I would not recommend the Luxor to anyone. The food was poor at best, hey this is Las Vegas. The first room was not adequate. I was moved to an upgraded room. The room was in the back 40 so to say. The TV was a regular 27 with poor channel selections, over half was the hotel and ppv type. The housekeeping never got the room right once. I had to call at 10:30 pm upon my return to the room as the toilet was not cleaned and the bed had stained sheets on it. The pillows were like waffles, the mattress was okay but not 4 star quality. The next night the pillow case was so thread bare it ripped in half. There something not complete in the room everyday, i.e. towels missing, soap missing, pillow left on the floor with no pillow case etc. The floors out of the commons areas had stains in them even in the room. Will never stay there again! Too many choices Las Vegas to put up with these issues.” Dec 4, 2008 by
Rod from Victoria,Canada
“Hotel is in need of major renovation and reorganization.” Hotel Representatives:
