- It was centrally located on the Strip, clean, and staff was pleasant.
- It was a little more expensive than I would have liked.
“This hotel was clean, staff was courteous and pleasant. The casino was clean and well-lit. The food was a bit overpriced and average tasting at The Cafe. Ming's had good service and tasty food. Toby Keith's Bar and Grill was a lot of fun, with slightly overpriced drinks.”

- The hotel was centrally located.
- The pool was filled with heavy drinking people, plumbing backup, they never followed through on complaints.
“I would never stay at the hotel with children. There was heavy drinking in the pool area and they closed the pool at 8:00 PM so we could not take the kids when the drinkers left. The adjoining doors could never be opened and they never followed through on getting a locksmith. The bathtub backed up. I would not stay at this hotel again.”

“We enjoyed our stay at Harrah's, it was first time in Las Vegas since 1978. Things have really changed. The casino floor needs to be updated, some of the newer casinos were definitely more enjoyable.”

“We were able to check in at 10:30 am on a Saturday that was GREAT. The room was clean and very comfortable, service was fast and friendly. We enjoyed playing the large selection of slot machines and the cocktail service was GREAT!”

- The bars, food and coffee shops in the casino. Also the comfy beds.
- Hated the Mardi Gras tower. Very noisy!
“We checked into the Mardi Gras tower originally. The room reeked of old cigarette smoke (and I'm a smoker), the band outside played until 4 am, then there was construction that started at 7 am. It was horrible. Finally at 8am we called and were placed in another tower, the Carnival tower. The room there was clean, very quiet, beds were extremely comfortable and the air was very nice and fresh. It was a difference between night and day. We loved it once we changed rooms. Very centrally located and convenient to catch the monorail. Will stay again, but only if its in the carnival tower.”

- The hotel was centrally located and always had a positive atmosphere. The outside Carnival was AWESOME!
- I called and asked if they had suites and they said no. Someone told me they were staying in a suite.
“This hotel was clean, friendly, and affordable. The best feature was the central location on the stip. The Carnival beer garden had great entertainment and we always felt safe. Although, if you are looking for a fancy pool and beautiful scenery, this is not a good choice. I have stayed there before and I plan to visit again.”

- Comfortable bed, once we got moved to a different room. The older rooms in the hotel are terrible, worse than some Motel 6 rooms.
- Hard to talk to someone long line at check in, our view was horrible (of pipes)
“This hotel seems way overpriced for what it is. The rooms in the older part are horrible, outdated, feel the springs in the bed very sparse etc. The new rooms have a comfortable bed, descent furnishings, and fairly comfortable but our view was awful. All we could see were some pipes through our window. But we were lucky to get the new room.”

“Centrally located on the strip which was a great convenience (didn't have to take taxi's everywhere). Because the hotel wasn't as big as some I felt that it had a great atmosphere with fun crowds. The food was good, the clubs had great music and reasonable priced drinks. Starbucks right by the elevator! Everything was clean (housekeeping was excellent). I've been to Las Vegas 10 previous times. I'd say this is a great hotel for anyone over 30.”

- Very convenient when walking through hotel and casino. A well laid out floor plan. Great signage. Easy access to restaurants and hotel rooms.
- During this visit I did not have any issues.
“I would highly recommend Harrah's hotel and casino to my colleagues, family and friends. Again, I think the best feature is the location of Harrah's hotel. It is centrally positioned on the Las Vegas strip. You only have to travel half the distance to each end of the strip.”

- Reservation not ready. Rude staff. Short sheeted bed w/ripped sheets.
“We've stayed at Harrah's before (Vegas & Lake Tahoe) & it is usually nice. Rude clerk at check in mocked my name, then insisted that my husband's be the name on the room - not mine. (I'm 40! Plenty old enough to book a room of my own.) The room was nice, but sheets did not go all the way to the foot of the bed & when we tried to adjust, the sheets were torn. Commented on that at checkout, but no one cared, apologized or tried to look concerned. This trip was frustrating.”

- The desk clerk was polite.
- Tattered, tired, shabby, holes in walls, plugged toilet, over priced.
“My husband and I stayed in the Carnival Tower. We were extremely disappointed and displeased to find the room was very worn out. The carpet was tattered and unraveled. There was a 2" hole in the bathroom door, and the exit door has holes from where the security latch appeared to have been pulled out of the door & door jam. We checked in about 2:00PM and rushed off to our sons wedding. When we finally got in the room for the first time at 11:00PM where we found the toilet was plugged. The maintenance man was prompt, but the situation and our stay were very unpleasant. I took photos of the carpet and the holes in the doors and email then with a complaint letter to the Management team. The beds & pillows weren't even comfortable. I felt like we were in a Motel 6. It's unfortunate that the inferior, poor, substandard room marred the memory of such a happy wedding day. I will be sure to tell everyone I know about our bad experience at Harrah's.”

- Failed to deliver our non-smoking room booking. Room stank even after "ionization" treatment.
“Harrah's is excellently located and a decent hotel casino with good 24 hour services / restaurants. Was disappointed that our non-smoking room booking was not delivered and so the room smelt despite hotel efforts.”

- Initial parking and entrance into hotel was difficult/confusing.
“Overall, Harrahs is a great place for the value. I would definitely stay there again due to its prime location. The rooms are well decorated and are appealing and we had a nice view of the strip. Security is good with a guard at the entrance of each tower ensuring everyone entering the hotel portion of the casino had a room key. My only disappointment was the size of the room. The "Deluxe" double Queen room I ordered felt like a small standard sized room.”

- Great amenities in the room - even a television in the bathroom.
- 20 day fee to use the gym.
“Harrah's is a great location (right in the center of the strip, at a monorail station), so it is very easy to get around without the overuse of taxis. The casino and restaurant areas are average, but the rooms are spacious and have lots of special little amenities (like a television in the bathroom). However, there are some amenities, like use of the gym, that come with an extra fee (per day in the case of the gym). Overall, Harrah¿s is a good value for the money.”

- Smoky, grimy restaurants.
“A very over priced and over-rated property. They are really resting on their laurels. The guest really feels at all times that the hotel is out to get you financially. They don't give you anything, not even a newspaper or a pen.”

- Convenient location - close to convention center.
- Rude staff at check-in desk, felt bathroom wasn't clean enough, noisy room, uncomfortable pillows.

- Nice Location. Easy for all cabs to get there. Across from Ceases Palace.
- Elevators were very slow!

- It was clean and the service was excellent!
- I had one drunk lady and a police officer come to wake me saying that the room was hers.
“The hotel as I mentioned above was clean. I one the trip from my company for exceeding sales expectations. I brought my finance as well and we had a wonderful time. The waiters waitresses and hotel staff showed enthusiasm and interest in our needs and made our stay a pleasant one because of there kindness!”

- I enjoyed this hotel and I will stay there again.
- Where I catch the shuttle bus.
“I must say that I enjoyed this hotel. I have travel to Japan, Thailand, and 45 states in the US. This is one of the best. Although, this was a pleasure trip. I would schedule a meeting in this hotel anytime.”
