“The hotel is lovely. Our older children had never been and had a great time. We all felt comfortable. The hotel is in a prime location!” Apr 15, 2008 by
Nick from Newton Highlands, MA
“Ideal location and wonderful rooms with tons to do. The Venetian may be showing its age just a tad if you look carefully.” Apr 15, 2008 by
Bichdiep from Stanton, CA
“Venetian is a wondrous establishment located in the prime of Las Vegas strip. The suite was gigantic including three plasma screens and remote-controlled curtains. It also houses some of the best shows in Vegas and many of the great restaurants as well. The shopping mall was very plush and the pool provided some fun recreation.” Apr 15, 2008 by
Bridget from Glen Arm, MD
“Big wow factor for kids, staff met or exceeded expectations at every request, loved the gourmet chocolates at turn-down service, first hotel I stayed at where I had no complaints with housekeeping (not even in the corners of the shower!). Drawback: hard to get around there's so many turns and attachments--everything is a long walk, charge for work-out equipment, have to show room key every time you pass in halls (good security, though).” Apr 15, 2008 by
Esther from Goshen, IN
“Beautiful foyer, comfortable beds and pillows, clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Good location on the strip. Lots of eating and shopping choices.” Apr 11, 2008 by
Holly from Destin, FL
“Beautiful, pools were warm, gym was second to none. Rooms are gorgeous, artwork is phenomenal. The smell, however made us all ill. I don't know what in the heck they pump into the air conditioning but it was awful. It wasn't so bad in the room, but it dries up your nose and stings your eyes and was really offensive. The reservationists acted like I was crazy and said what smell? Food all pretty expensive except for a little Jewish deli near Crispy Creme. Great sandwiches and really inexpensive and they have matzo ball soup hooray.” Apr 10, 2008 by
Malcolm from Rancho Cucamonga, CA
“This is my favorite hotel to stay at while visiting Las Vegas.” Apr 10, 2008 by
Alan from Skokie, IL
“Imho, Venetian looks like a shopping mall. It is clean, good looking, superior staff, however you still get a feeling that you stay at Nordstrom, otherwise it is a very good hotel.” Apr 10, 2008 by
Susan &. from Cave Creek, AZ
“This is an excellent five star hotel, we would recommend it to all our family members who frequent Las Vegas. Would have liked to have been helped back to our room when both our cards would not work on the door, we ended up locked out for over 30 minutes. After we called the front desk and no one showed, we tried the two card for over 30 times and finally worked. We stay in hotels at least 2 times a month (for leisure), as a frequent business traveler, my husband travels and stays at different hotels 5 times a month. Never had this problem (inconvenience). Overall, we would love to stay at this hotel and would look to reserving our stay at your hotel before attempting to reserve at the other hotels in the area. Thank you.” Apr 10, 2008 by
Kris from Huntington Beach, CA
“The hotel is gorgeous, had an awesome stay. Hung out by the pool for a couple days, went to TAO and TAO beach, and shopped in the mall area. Beautiful.” Apr 9, 2008 by
Megan from San Diego, CA
“I will definitely stay at the Venetian again. Very nice hotel with excellent decor and an excellent staff.” Apr 9, 2008 by
Erika from Granada Hills, CA
“We waited over 30 to register once we made it to the counter because the hotel had the wrong room reservation (smaller room). The counter person went away for almost 30 minutes and upon return informed us that they had to have "special" manager authorization to release the room; I had a printed reservation so I could not understand the problem. We waited 3 HRS (registration originally told me 15 minutes) to have our second room ready because of their mistake and I had to continuously keep calling to have them get our second room released to us. First room's TVs were both not operating ant they offered to fix them the next day and upon complain, the manager contacted us and had us re-located to another suite. The view from the first room was horrific. It was as bad as looking at an alley. The rooms were very nice, comfortable, and clean and we loved the TV in the bathroom. Great hotel but they need to work on their check in process; the experience was horrible!” Apr 9, 2008 by
Todd from Alpharetta, GA
“Great place. Worth the money.” Apr 9, 2008 by
Aylin from Rancho Cucamonga, CA
“I think the hotel is really nice for the family travelers, for just be with your second half, and for business. Really arty, really beautiful, great restaurants, great staff, you feel like you are in Italy.” Apr 9, 2008 by
William from Flatwoods, KY
“The best hotel/casino that I've ever stayed at. By far.” Apr 8, 2008 by
Keith from Babylon, NY
“Great service, accommodations, including pool and spa and restaurants/clubs. Would love to return soon.” Apr 8, 2008 by
Jondavid from Medina, OH
“In this day of travel, having to pay $9.95 for internet connection is unacceptable. I felt as though they were attempting to nickel and dime the consumer with this charge and it affected my outlook on this wonderful hotel. This alone would cause me to never stay there again.” Apr 5, 2008 by
Capt. D. from Redondo Beach, CA
“Attractive casino/lobby. Bad parking area. Scary, dark and fast moving cars driven by attendants close to hitting us on several occasions. Food was great.” Apr 3, 2008 by
Ryan from Fresno, CA
“The big V is the best hotel on strip. I have stayed at all the 5 star hotels on strip, none can compare. There bar at the pool is great! The women are all over. Best time I have ever had, say no more.” Apr 3, 2008 by
Denise from Anchorage, AK
“Loved the hotel, did not like how far down the strip it was-location.” Apr 3, 2008 by
Dana from Montecito, CA
“I was upset that the room was not ready for an hour and a half I had to wait with my children in a cafe by casino till 2:30am.” Apr 2, 2008 by
Weldon from Fort Worth, TX
“By far the nicest property I have ever been booked at through a discounter. Bathroom was bigger than some hotel rooms I have stayed in. Big Shower, Big, Deep Bath-tub, separate water closet, TV. Two big flat screens. Split level bedroom and living room areas. Sofa (foldout), love seat, recliner, & desk. As family friendly as any casino hotel can be.” Apr 2, 2008 by
Rex from Rancho Palos Verdes, CA
“All in all everything was great.” Apr 2, 2008 by
Allan 2. from Tampa, FL
“The hotel was amazing, large, clean, and worth every penny. I had a very romantic 4 days and it is right in the middle of the strip. Can't ask for anything more.” Apr 2, 2008 by
Arturo from Riverbank, CA
“Upon arrival (checked in at 3 pm as stated/recommended), my room was NOT available so I had to settle with a smoking room and I don't smoke and hate it. When I asked the why I my non-smoking room isn't available the clerk quickly/slightly rudely said "your late to checking in." I told her it said 3 pm "how am I late?" she just said all non-smoking rooms are currently not available and I can get one tomorrow If I call in the morning. The room was very nice and large along with the clean/nice bathroom. Although the beds pillows had cigarette burns on them that was the only downfall, besides the smell. Twice and at different times house-keeping tried to enter my room with me inside and the privacy please notice on the door and when they tried to enter it seemed like they were trying to forcefully enter! I thought I was going to get robbed or something. House cleaning touched my stuff even though it wasn't in the way and I had to buy new toothbrushes (that were in my suitcase and taken out) and other personal affects due to this. And the layout of the hotel can be more thoughtful of guests. Got lost many times trying to find restaurants and when I asked for help the staff wasn't in the mood to polite fully tell me where to go. Seemed like more of hassle for them. The shops were great and convenient but the Restaurants were terribly over-priced for the quality and taste of the dishes they serve. They don't come close to the chefs that the restaurant represents. I've had actual food from the Iron Chef's and others that have the same menu that the Vegas copy has. But again taste didn't compare to the original. I ate at other hotels after the first day of Venetian restaurants. Casino was nice but the waitress service for drinks was very slow and not too frequent despite the courteous tips I gave as well as when I gave the slot machines, and blackjack tables even more and more money. Went out for gambling as well. Overall the location was great.” Apr 1, 2008 by
Joy from Waccabuc, NY
“Other than being overwhelmingly huge, it was lovely. But it IS very crowded and busy and check-in even at 11 PM was NUTS. The room was huge and lovely, though and the restaurants we ate in were great.” Mar 31, 2008 by
S from Highlands Ranch, CO
“Lovely place to stay with wonderful eating options. Very clean and classy. Beautiful interior.” Mar 31, 2008 by
Naomi from Sa Diego, CA
“Overall experience with the staff & the checking in experience was very unprofessional & not very catering to customers. However the rooms were very pleasant.” Mar 31, 2008 by
Renee from Otter Lake, MI
“Overall, the Venetian Hotel was very nice. For the most part clean, except the hallway to our room. The same garbage (food and glass) seemed to be on the floor in the same spot for over 2 days. The room was cleaned once a day, with tidy-up and turns down service in the evening. (I think they forgot to vacuum.) These items are very petty, and my overall stay was nice and comfortable, I guess for the money I spent, I wanted perfection.” Mar 31, 2008 by
Ramesh from Chicago, IL
“The Venetian offers lives up to its hype and offers everything from decadent lobbies to Gondola Rides (you have to part with an arm and a leg) to elegantly appointed rooms. Blue Man Group' and 'The Phantom of the Opera' are dated shows and could do with a breath of fresh air.” Mar 28, 2008 by
Sydney from Sandy, UT
“If there weren't a thousand other reasons to go, The Venetian alone would be reason enough to go to Las Vegas. Such a gorgeous atmosphere and fantastic shopping and restaurants. We had an amazing time.” Mar 28, 2008 by
Frankie from Laguna Niguel, CA
“The Venetian is a beautiful hotel with great restaurants and beautiful rooms.” Mar 28, 2008 by
Belen from Fresno, CA
“I would definitely stay again. It was the best hotel I have ever stayed in.” Mar 27, 2008 by
Svetlana from Cherry Hill, NJ
“Excellent hotel overall, need to improve pull out couch and not charge for extra person fee in a suite size room.” Mar 27, 2008 by
Warren from Salt Lake City, UT
“Romantic and we loved it. It is conveniently located on the "Strip."” Mar 27, 2008 by
Rick from Bloomer, WI
“Extremely lavish, and caters to your high end needs.” Mar 26, 2008 by
Pam from Yucaipa, CA
“Very nice, would definitely stay again.” Mar 26, 2008 by
Joanne from Albuquerque, NM
“This hotel was gorgeous, great service, room very comfortable and clean. We had such a good time here. I loved the spa, the common areas were clean, and everything was up to par with what I would expect. I just wish that there weren't so many younger, loud people staying in the hotel. That was the only drawback. The people in the hallways were loud late at night.” Mar 26, 2008 by
Steve from Redlands, CA
“The most incredible hotel on the Las Vegas Strip.” Mar 26, 2008 by
Josh from Richmond, BC CA
“The hotel was very nice. It held our party very comfortably. The hotel provided us with everything we needed and we didn't even have to leave the hotel. Their gambling facilities are great, the restaurants are good, the club is very nice and the rooms were gorgeous.” Mar 26, 2008 by
Gideon from Shermn Oaks, CA
“Great hotel, beautiful rooms, great location. Great all around!” Mar 26, 2008 by
Holly from Gilbert, AZ
“This hotel is beautiful and has many wonderful restaurants and activities. It is in the perfect location on the Las Vegas strip. I have one comment that affected my visit. Since it was a five star hotel, I was expecting the beds to be comfortable, but it was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. It was like a bed from a one star motel, hard, old and just plain uncomfortable. The blankets weren't very great either. I was just disappointed with this as this is the hotel that I always wanted to stay at, but most likely will not return to for an overnight stay.” Mar 26, 2008 by
Tony from St. Paul, MN
“This is a very high quality North Strip property that left very little to be desired. The rooms/suites were extremely large and well furnished. There were three flat screen televisions in our room. The bed and bedding was very comfortable. The alarm clock was set and armed, and it was a very rude awakening our first morning when it jolted us awake very, very early. Figuring out how to turn it off and make sure it wouldn't go off again was nearly impossible - and I consider myself to be fairly competent in endeavors of this nature. We were also awakened another morning by the alarm going off for an extended time in an adjacent suite. The internet service (at $9.95/day) was terribly slow and unreliable, as well. Relatively minor issues, though. Everything else was fantastic.” Mar 26, 2008 by
Elizabeth from Raleigh, NC
“I was pleased with the hotel, but it did not meet my expectations of what I thought a 5 star should be. Had to call someone to the room and it took two employees to figure out how to set the alarm and time on the clock! Bathroom was huge and really nice. For the cost of the room, you would think they could throw in free internet access. I would stay there again, but I would rate this hotel currently at a 4 star.” Mar 25, 2008 by
Johanne G. from Carlsbad, CA
“The location of our room was horrible. We were given a ground floor room at the very end with a view of the loading dock in your face. We could not open the curtains because of how disgusting it looked outside and there was no outside sunshine to lighten our room because we were in a pit hole. And to add to it the hotel staff threw the pool chairs in the loading dock area right into our window. The room was so dark at night with very little lighting you could hardly see, and no sunshine coming in during the day. I hated every minute of our stay there.” Mar 25, 2008 by
Andrew from Nashotah, WY
“The rooms are big and comfy and it is located in a nice/convenient part of the Las Vegas Strip.” Mar 25, 2008 by
Donna from Tarzana, CA
“The suite was huge, the bathroom was great, and the service was very good. I loved the spa. I ate at Enoteca San Marco. Very disappointing for a Mario Battali restaurant.” Mar 24, 2008 by
Theresa from San Diego, CA
“The Venetian is definitely a five star hotel. The suites are beautifully appointed, the bathrooms luxurious, the service was stellar from check in and concierge services, to room service etc, I went to visit the hotel regarding possible future wedding sites, banquet rooms, etc, and I was less than impressed with some of the 'mandatory' selections as far as weddings, though the venues themselves were ok.” Mar 22, 2008 by
Ravi from San Jose, CA
“Takes too long to go from one room to another. Could not get the exact room requested at time of arrival. The staff was friendly enough to accommodate the next day.” Mar 22, 2008 by
Annette from Beaver, PA
“Our stay was very short only one night but we enjoyed what we did get to see. We would not hesitate to go back to the Venetian. Wish we could have stayed longer.” Hotel Representatives:
