  • Check in was absolutely ridiculous.

“The hotel is nice and convenient, if you can get checked in. The line to check in is hours long whether it was 1PM, 3PM or 6PM. We asked around and was told it is like this every weekend. I would not return to this hotel as a result.”

“Over all I enjoyed the hotel it's self, however the room was small and cramped for being a (4 Star) hotel, I had stayed at 2 and 3 star hotels with bigger and more comfortable rooms.”

“This is not a four star hotel! The pillows have probably not been switched since this place opened! They smelled awful! Not all the staff was not 4 stars friendly. No staging area for valet. While I waited for my car, the valet staff continued to cavort and drop of bombs. The bellhop just put my bags down in my room and didn't offer any further assistance. The maid staff yelled back and forth at each other down the hall starting at 8:30. Very noisy!”

  • Location was convenient to touring, bed linens were superb!
  • Lighting in bathroom and throughout hotel room was poor, and rooms could use some updating.

“Comfortable, though not luxurious. Bed linens were wonderful! Other pluses were: staff, room price, restaurants, location, and tram to nearby Mirage. The ordinary decor of the room could definitely use some updating! Lighting, in both the bathroom and throughout the bedroom, was terrible!”

  • Disappointing decor, wet carpet, no towels, unconcerned staff.

“The location is wonderful and unlike many other hotels, the trek from the parking garage to the guest elevators is neither overly long or confusing. Cleanliness was good with an apparently freshly shampooed carpet that was still wet (how can you complain about that?). Decor was worse than I remember on a past visit so I'm not sure if I got an older room this time or if they updated to a more understated decor since my last visit. Unfortunately, we did not have any bath towels in our room, which went unnoticed until one foot was already in the shower. While the check-in and check-out went quite quickly, the staff failed to ask how we enjoyed our stay. Since they didn't care to ask, I figured they didn't care to know. That was disappointing.”

  • The buffet was too expensive for what they offered.

“Great place for a group of friends or business traveler. Room was very quiet on a holiday weekend, which was wonderful. Centrally located which is great for stepping out of hotel. We brought out 15 year old and there was nothing crazy that we saw happening so we were comfortable with him walking through to get to dining areas. Really great hotel!”

  • Paying $5 just for a cup of boiled water (room service).

“Great location. For the price, good clean, adequate comfortable accommodations. All rooms should have a small fridge and a microwave. Las Vegas needs to conserve water use. When rooms are made every day, an option to keep the towels or request fresh towels should be given. Too much smoke in the lobby but that can't be avoided.”

  • I liked our room very much. And the location it has on the Vegas strip.
  • Much of the common areas were older.

“The petite suite we had was great. The floor we were on and the room had a modern art deco look, which we liked. But this didn't match the rest of the hotel/casino. There seemed to be a lack of direction in the restaurants/clubs/overall theme of the hotel. None of it was bad, it just didn't mesh together. The service was good, no long waits in the check in/out lines. I would recommend this hotel to others.”

  • Housekeeping was terrible long lines to check in, inaccurate pricing.

“Disappointed - housekeeping is horrible! We were not very happy with our stay. To begin, was a long wait to check in, then there was a discrepancy in how much our room was to be. The worst part was the day we came back from a day on the strip and were cleaning up for the evening. My daughter had the unfortunate experience of taking a clean towel from the rack that the maid had hung up upon cleaning our room. Turns out it wasn't clean at all. Lets just say someone must have run out of toilet paper and used the towel instead. Totally unacceptable. We filed a complaint with the supervisor of housekeeping and if return for this they sent us a complimentary bottle of Champaign. Wow unbelievable. The location is good, but after our experience, we would definitely stay somewhere else!”

  • Check-in in was quite easy even though the lines were long. I got a very good night's sleep because the bed was so comfortable. Check-in out on TV is great.
  • Elevators were a little confusing.

“We felt like we were staying at a luxury hotel for a great price. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and accommodating. Staff was pleasant and helpful. We like being near the middle of the Strip and close places we typically go to when in Las Vegas. We will definitely stay at the TI again when we visit Las Vegas.”

  • I was very impressed with the re-furbished floors & rooms in the hotel.
  • The staff at the front desk were not particularly friendly & looked miserable the entire time.

“We had 2 rooms - one on a newly done floor and one on an old floor - the hotel changed my room on the 2nd night and whilst they were always efficient at the front desk they were miserable and snooty and seldom made eye contact or smiled. The newly re-done rooms & floors were lovely but the old ones are in need! The hotel is in such a great location, we will definitely stay there again.”

  • The friendly staff and prompt room service were excellent.
  • Walking through the casino to get to the room elevators.

“Though I was only in Las Vegas for a day 1/2 on business alone, the hotel was wonderful. Wireless internet flawless and easy. Room service quick with excellent food in large portion. (I could only eat 1/2). Had a great view and the pirate siren show was wonderful from my window? Didn't gamble, but the casino seem very popular and the gamblers were enjoying themselves. The wet brand bath offerings are fabulous and the bathtub is deep for a relaxing soak before falling into a comfortable bed. The flat screen TV was easy to operate through the menu with great picture. So for a business traveler all desires were met.”

  • My room was not ready until after 9 pm!

“I tried to check in at 5:45 pm and was told my room was still not ready and to come back in two hours. I was going to see Phantom and I actually had to get ready in the women's bathroom. When I arrived after 9 my room still wasn't ready and I have to wait 20 minutes (on a Tue) for them to find me a non-smoking room. Then the bell girl was rude about getting my bags and she told me to "just call from your room, it will take me too long."”

  • Affordable. Near the mall.
  • Small swimming pool. Pool closes early.

“We stayed at a non-smoking room - no smell of smoke anywhere around. I found out that they renovated the rooms last year. Overall the room was clean and they provided everything I asked. The amenities were not special (travel with your own, unless you don't mind). This hotel has a walk way to the fashion mall. It was the beginning of may and lass Vegas was hot. The pool only opened until 6pm (downer). The pool is very small compared to other hotels. If you are visiting Vegas for a short period, this hotel will be satisfactory. If you care about the view, this hotel does not have ceiling to floor windows. If you are traveling with children, the game room for kids is too small. If you are looking for cheap minimum table bets, this hotel has them.”

“It was clean and average. Way overpriced for a standard room, as I have had similar rooms at Holiday Inns that were just as nice and far cheaper. Also, good luck getting into the pool which is minuscule and packed, with no available chairs to lay outside.”

  • Housekeeping, check in staff, very Smokey, not 4 star at all.

“We won't stay at it again, horrible guest services, housekeeping deplorable, attitude of staff "don¿t give a hoot" and even managed to neglect to provide face cloths, soap, bath mats although generous housekeeping tips of 1 to 5 dollars left consistently. Check in very late no apology, messed up twice on billing so had holds of double charges for rooms of 1600 on bill, took two days to straighten out. Booked up scale rooms, son and future bride, and my husband and myself but definitely not a four star, very smoky, especially by elevators to rooms. Won't stay again.”

  • While the service was generally quite good, the food was not always great.

“As long as I can get a reasonable price, I will stay at this hotel. I enjoy Vegas but am concerned about the rising prices there. Often, the price increases do not pay for anything but the hotel's rising costs, which, in my estimation, can be cut in many, many non-guest threatening ways.”

  • The social house restaurant was fabulous!
  • There was nothing I can think of that I did not like, except maybe the drink prices could have been lower,.
